Welcome to Salema News Corporation, I'm Tanya Adams. Coronation Successful! HRH Queen Isabella I of Salema has succeeded the throne of her late father, King Adolphus IV of Salema, during a grand ceremony in Riga today. The nation was united for the occasion, with parties occurring throughout the nation. The Queen herself was wearing a wodnerful white dress that covered her body, with gold lace and emerald embroidery. It is estimated to be around 100,000 Salema Krona. At the coronation many people had come from near and far. At the front was Princess Anastasia, the younger sister of Queen Isabella, and the two sisters god-father, Lord Liabach, the head of the parliament. Also noted were many people to represent their nations. These included the Eternal President of Tristantia Tristan Barbett, Foreign Minister for the Central Ossario Republic Leah Cathem and her husband Wilbur, Second Son to the Lord Chancellor of Great Celisia Bjorn Illbreidr and the Prime Minister of Kanchanta. Cardinal Meneteith lead the procession. Queen Isabella takes control of a strong, independent nation which for hundreds of years has remained a powerful symbol of Monarchy. With present threats knocking at her doors, Queen Isabella looks ready to take on the challenge. RFY Glacier search continues. The Royal Family Yacht Glacier has now drawn a near regional search group. The Salema Royal Navy has now begun to take efforts in organizing the mass search for the famed yacht, carrying 42 lives, including HRH King Adolphus IV. HRH has refused to comment, but a source has informed local newpapers she is delighted many people are willing to assist. Free Market Alliance: Beneficial or Disaster? The Kingdom of Salema is under discussion to join the newly formed Free Market Alliance. The FMA was founded not long ago, but was viewed with skepticism. Many nations are concerned that the FMA is a major Anti-Communistic organization. HRH Queen Isabella stated that plans were being made, but if any discussion on a universal currency continued, she would immediately withdraw the application. And that's the news, I'm Tanya Adams. |

After a long search and many governments assistance, the RFY Glacier's wreck was found. All 42 men and women, including the former monarch, King Adolphus IV. HRH Queen Isabella I of Salema has organized a memorial for the lost lives, and will be paying for the services from her royal coffers. This has come under flak by the more conservative members of parliament. The date has been set for Late June. Salema to reach for the stars! In a change of normal efforts, HRH Isabella I of Salema inaugaurated the latest branch of the Salema Academy of Advancement and Theory, the Salema Aerospace eXploration and Observation, SAXO. The chairman, Werhner Du Plessis, will lead Salema in the exploration of space. Queen Isabella: When will you marry, say the bells of Old Maggie. Rumours have been circulating over the potential candidates for the hand of Queen Isabella I in marriage. Though we here at SNC do occasionally enjoy our bit of gossip, we are sure that HRH will not threaten the sovereignty of the country.
