Our business affairs correspondent, Lefter Küçük, reports to us live from Alunda, Kingdom of Ndambia. "I am reporting from outside the headquarters of Ndambian National Mining Trust where we are getting information that a bid has been made for a share in the company from one of FB Cumhuriyeti's own companies. We don't have any confirmation on who has made the bid or for what share they have bid for, but there is huge speculation that it is from Kadıköy Mining A.Ş. If this is true, then this will be a significant step in the business markets because as of now there has been no company which has had control of any assets abroad. Could this be a new era coming in? We'll keep you updated as the news progresses. " |

A further update to the story unfolding from the Kingdom of Ndambia "It has just been confirmed that Kadıköy Mining A.Ş. has purchased 1% shares in Ndambian National Mining Trust for an undisclosed fee. This represents ventures unknown for domestic companies. I have Caner Demirel, CEO of Kadıköy Mining A.Ş., to hear his thoughts on the transaction." "Thanks. We're very pleased that we were able to buy a share in trust. We're very thankful for the Kingdom of Ndambia for being great hosts during the negotiation period. We have showed our financial strength by being able to make investments abroad. We believe that other major domestic companies will now be looking across border lines when it comes to growth opportunities. I believe FB Cumhuriyeti will have a very healthy economical future. I'm glad that we get to go down in history as the catalyst for this period of economic bliss." |

Breaking News!! A small group of armed men stormed the historic site of Sarımaz castle, the former home of the Sarımaz dynasty, which fell from power after a coup d'état dethroned the last King, Hilmi II, 73 years ago. This group of men are believed to be led by Hilmi sarımazoğlu, a descendent of the Hilmi II. There have been previous incidents involving this group, most recently a bomb attack on the building of the Grand National Assembly. They have a wide following and have been growing in numbers over the past few years. The group aim to re-instate the old ways back when the country was a monarchy. |
