When I played (american) football(I continued to played in a homeschool league after I tested out of school), I remember having times when I would rack my head almost constantly every play(I was a fullback, main priorty was blocking and making small gains). Whether it was blocking or carrying the ball my head always got in the mix, whether it was hit or not. Never got a concussion though, I was nicknamed Wombat for that :P due to popular belief that my skull was as hard as a w
Wombat. Well, one game I was caught off guard standing straight up(never stand straight up while the play is going), the last thing is remember seeing the numbers 56 and white. I woke up on my back with a searing headache. It put me out of footbal season for the rest of the year and it was my last year :(. Anyway, my point was that playing the damned sport was my biggest mistake and craziest thing i've ever done :P. Not a good sport if you want to maintain good health...

Craziest shit ever? Alright, I don't really have anything too crazy, but I used to play Football a lot before puberty kicked in. We ended up making fun of American Football for a bit by picking up the ball and running to each side. Of course we soon found it to be just as enjoyable as regular football and began to tackle the shit out of each other. I was running for a touchdown and someone bent over to hit me while someone came from behind. I had plenty of time to re-position, but I was being too arrogant and in the process I was sandwiched and nearly broke my back. In the end it was the craziest fucking thing I ever attempted. At least for now that is.

Canoeing and portaging ~15 km through unfamiliar wilderness in the dark of night.

I was with some friends and my fiance and we were on a wilderness canoe trip. At the end of the last day, we decided to stay in a remote campsite for an extra day, but knew we would run out of food. So me and my future brother-in-law took one canoe at dusk, portaged and canoed ~7-8 km through wilderness that we had never traveled before to get to our car, and then drove at 120km/hr down a winding dirt road to get to the trading post before it closed. When we got back to the canoe and put it in the water (pitch dark by now), an old guy sitting at the edge of his cottage yelled after us that we were crazy. Miraculously we retraced our path without incident, including maneuvering around a 75-year old sunken train wreck, and came back into the lake where my fiance and her sisters had set up base camp and had a huge signal fire going. She was worried sick about us, but I enjoyed the experience.

I can't think of anything off the top of my head that was really crazy. But here's what I can think of:

In seventh grade science class we were reviewing the density formula. My teacher, Miss Fields wrote the following formulas on the board"

D=m/v

v=m/d

I noticed that on one formula she wrote "D" while on the other she wrote "d", so I decided to be a smart ass and ask her this:

"Miss Fields, I noticed you wrote it different each time on the board, so I have to ask you, would you rather have 'The Big D' or 'The Little D'?

She didn't get the joke, but everyone started laughing. She eventually caught on after a while and told me (and the unfortunate kid sitting next to me) to stay after class for a few minutes. We didn't get in trouble, though.

Glad you made it through :D

Had a similar experience except I was hiking with some friends and it got dark faster than we expected. We kept hearing stuff moving in the pushed and saw glowing eyes around the mountains surrounding us. We weren't sure if it was mountain lions since they did run crazy around the area we were in. To deter the animqls we made alot of noise and talked loudly to perhaps scare them off. Luckily we survived....ofcourse.
