![]() ROYAL VISIT TO CAS EAST MORELAND OFFICIALS TOUCH DOWN FOR DIPLOMACY ![]() ![]() East Moreland is on the other side of the region, a complete stranger to the CAS. Its international influence and diplomatic strengths has left the citizens of the Confederacy with one question on their minds: Why are we not engaging with them? Well, consider this question remedied! After the announcement that Grand Viceroy Munir would not be returning home immediately from the Iredic Gala, state officials and members of the public alike were confused and wanted answers. A couple of days later, a statement was received from the Viceroy's legal counsel. It confirmed that the CAS delegation were in East Moreland as guests to the royal wedding. All across the Six States, citizens held their breaths hoping for further news of a diplomatic sort between the CAS and East Moreland. Sure enough, upon what is being called his 'triumphant return', Viceroy Munir confirmed in his state speech that: 'we are pleased to announce that the royal couple from East Moreland will be arriving on Allied soil in a couple of weeks to discuss a diplomatic tie between our two great nations.' He went on to address the roaring crowds outside the Political Gates by saying that, 'it is the responsibility of every Ally, every Separatist, every Confederate citizen to ensure that the CAS can show the Morelanders everything that would encourage negotiations to be fruitful.' ![]() ![]() ![]() Grand Viceroy Munir watching the parade | Allied Troops marching in Modinna | A row of S.E.P 96 Assault Tanks saluting the Viceroys A military parade was organised in Modinna, where Viceroy Munir paid his respects to the Allied Troops who had just completed their training. In every city, town and country village, residents gathered as they do on April 16th and partied in the streets to celebrate the diplomatic occasion. In a recent independent poll on which country they would like to visit, East Moreland achieved a stunning 40% nation wide. It comes as no surprise then that Allied Separatists everywhere are keen to make an impression. The lack of royalty in the CAS means that for many, simply the fact that the King and Queen of Moreland will be in their State is enough for jubilations. A political correspondent said that, 'if there were ever a time when we needed some regal spirit injected into the Confederacy then now would be it.' Eduard Lyonne, the Primary Viceroy, gave us a statement on the way to work. He said that, 'King David, Queen Matilda and the East Moreland delegation will be the most honoured guests in recent history. But I urge the people that we may give them nice food and a giant bed, but they are the true measure of our hospitality. I know they will do this nation proud.' It is without doubt that the political class of the CAS will be ironing out their silks and practising their courtesies, but what will the people be doing to prepare? In the primary city of Arlestyne, Mansen, people are making East Moreland banners and hanging them from every window and street light. We will keep you updated with the latest on this, and as always, Independence in Everything. Edited by Jeziel, 28th August 2014 - 07:18 PM.

![]() East Moreland Welcomed in Modinna Modinna's airport was awash with military personnel determined to keep citizens off of the runways prior to the arrival of the East Moreland delegation, of which included the newly wed King and Queen. Their arrival was certainly not subtle for the inhabitants of the city as the private jet circled above the city before landing in the airport. Viceroy Munir had issued over half of the city's police force to control the ecstatic crowds so as to not cause a fuss. As the sleek black cars slowly advanced through the heart of the city via police escort, officers were struggling to control the masses of citizens showing their support and affections for the Morelanders. Banners, flags, handmade signs were all waved and held high. One man was arrested after trying to run inside the gates of the Political Quarter, whilst another was injured falling from a quarter of the way up the walls where he was attempting to rappel at night. Guards found him after he cried out for help, he is recovering in hospital. Such is the excitement and sheer fanaticism of the Modinnians. As we understand it, the two nations will be eating together tonight before diplomatic talks tomorrow. With tensions rising in parliament about the push for state legitimacy by Borland, we can only cross our fingers that King David and the Allied Council can come to a beneficial agreement between our two great nations. ![]() Left:The King and Queen's car inside the Political Quarter | Right: One of the many crowds in Modinna |
