Hello and Welcome to the Transvaal News Network Bringing you the full story  Our top story tonight as i'm sure your most aware of is the election that ended only a few hours ago. It ended with a win for the PP with them winning the House and Senate majority. Here is a picture of William Van Brugge giving his election victory speech.  New President William Van Brugge giving his victory speech With this victory William Van Brugge has sealed his name in the history books of Transvaal as he is the very first president of our great nation. But most importantly he will now be looked at and how he deals with the new threats facing Transvaal and other nations on Mundus. When asked about this he said 'I plan to choose a foreign secretary that knows how to handle the international stage and is competent and will get the job done.' He also would like to mention that his first bill which he plans to pass is one that will help Transvaal make the necessary push into the modern world. This just in the leader of the USR, Joseph Stalin of the USR has died and early reports show that many of the city's have been shut down so that it citizens may mourn the death of their controversial leader, who has been accused of genocide and abusing human rights on a daily basis and was condoned by many countries leaders world wide such as Rokkenjima. William Van Brugge would not comment on Stalin's death saying that he didn't want to cause more tensions by either supporting the USR or condemning them. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story  Our top story tonight: Presidential inauguration. The time has come for the new President William Van Brugge to be inaugurated into parliament.  The president seen here saying the oath to the emperor and Transvaal. This was a particularly happy day as many people around the country celebrated their very first president. Most of whom were also pleased with the news that the leader of the USR was also dead. In his inauguration speech President Van Brugge also announced that his first act as president would be to pledge that a new law will be passed on the subject of increasing the military industry in Transvaal and he assured us that he had the Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon, working with the country's top military engineers to make new and advanced war machines. Many civilians were pleased by these comments as it shows that our new president is willing to go to the lengths to protect us from outside threats such as the USR and Rokkenjima from bullying us into doing what they want. Today President William announced new subsides for the small military industry in Transvaal.  President William explaining how the new subsides would work President William said the new subsides should help the struggling arms industry in Transvaal to grow. These subsides are expected to target the companies who specifically make the M16 assault rifle and make small arms. He said that we need these new industry's to grow so we can fund our own army with our own weapons. The amount expected to be used is 2 billion, this money will go to making factories and employing workers and getting the necessary materials to make weapons used by the Transvaal army. |

The Council's aim is to decrease tensions in the Illumic Channel, and increase trade and cooperation between nations as well.  Nixon telling the press what the intentions of the council are More Freedom of Press in the USR. When the new chairmen of the USR took power his first move other than the radical speech which he gave was to increase press freedom in the USR and for the first time we welcome USR viewers to our program. Leader conference, Today President William Van Brugge has announced that he plans to hold a conference with the leaders of the USR and Thomradia in relations to the topics of arms trades and increased economic ties with each other. Many People have condemned this conference as the history of the USR is quite controversial in most nations. But the president said that at this conference he would address these issues with the two leaders. And now for our top story tonight: The government has announced that it plans to release its budget and what plans will be put in place for the future of Transvaal. Many people are wondering where this budget will target. Most people believe that this budget will be mainly focused on building up the local industry and economy. Especially after the new subsides planed for the military manufacturing industry. But since this is what most people think will be the primary target many critics are wondering what areas will be left out. Some have even said that money will be taken from the public health and education services. When asked about this situation President William responded with this statement. 'That is absolute garbage and nonsense, and under my watch this government will never take money out of the public services unless absolutely necessary.' When the emperor was asked about what he thought of the military industry subsides he said. 'These subsides are necessary to help protect the nation from outside threats such as the USR and Rokkenjima.' |

Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story tonight the new budget released by the government. Today was a big day in parliament as the first ever national budget was released by the Minister for the Economy Nikola Khrushchev. The big features that stand out for the new budget is the new small business grant scheme, increased taxes on income earners of over $500,000 dollars a year to 45% income tax, increased corporation tax to 15%, Capital gains tax increased to 8%, a new public incentives program, new blanket import tariffs of 12%, a new standardized testing scheme, Healthcare reform, new education bill aimed at increasing minority schooling and a new infrastructure bill. We will have our chief economics expert go into more detail about all the new reforms in this very first budget. Firstly the one change that stands out the most is probably the governments small business scheme. This new scheme would specifically target small business and would mean that the government would provide either a tax cut to those business or a government grant either way this is sure to help local industry around Transvaal. The next is increased taxes on income earners of over $500,000 dollars. Not much to really say other than this was done in order to just raise more revenue for the government nothing new. Next tax increases on business. These taxes make sense since the government plans to increase the amount of businesses in Transvaal and just want's to capitalize on their increased income. Now the new program known as the public incentives program would target unemployed people to go out get work such as a person may receive special green slips these slips can be used to purchase food and essentials etc, It only applies tough however to people who are under the poverty line and in the cycle of Poverty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycle_of_poverty The new tariffs are will go along fine with the governments policy of supporting small business. The standardized testing scheme will see that schools now conduct tests that compare schools around the country this will allow the government to target those schools who are falling behind. The Healthcare reform will allow a new market of health insurance for people of lower income to gain access to health insurance. This will also set in standards for health insurance companies, they will now not be able to deny a person based on preexisting conditions etc. The education reform will be a called affirmative action and will allow the minority of Iredens to get reduced fees for university if they are educated at the same level as the university course requires. The new infrastructure bill will be aimed at targeting roads and public buildings that need to be repaired due to lack of management and is expected to start in the coming months. Critics on the other hand are complaining saying that the standardized testing takes away from the provinces education and that education is a local matter not a federal matter. They also say the new taxes will lead to many of the people (or job creators as they put it) to not employ so many people because they have to pay more money to the government. They also say that the affirmative action will give an advantage to Iredens since they won't have to pay as much and this discourages Transvaalians from attending University. Lastly they say that the new health care reform is a blatant attack on the free market and it distorts the free market from creating more jobs. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story tonight: Anger over Queen Adriana Military Base Today Protesters, angry over the continued leasing of the Queen Adriana Military Base, as many as 300 people appeared outside Parliament to get their voices heard. They were seen holding signs such as 'Rokkenjima Out Now', 'Transvaal stands united' and 'give the boot to foreign occupation'.  protesters at parliament as an MP drove by One of the protesters had this to say. 'The continued occupation QAMB by Rokkenjima shows that our government has no spine, if it wants to prove that it's the government of Transvaal then it needs to occupy all of Transvaal.' The leader of the opposition in Parliament (Archibald Hesvef) said that 'This policy of continued leasing of land to foreign powers shows exactly why it is failing to help the people of Transvaal and I will surly send the message to President William that he can't ignore the people or else he will pay with the next election.' Polls on the issue show a strong percentage of the population believe that this policy that the government has taken is bad for Transvaal. 87% against island leasing and only 13% for island leasing, this has put President William in the hot seat and we will finally be able to determine wither or not he is for the people or if he is just going to bend over to foreign powers and let them tell him what to do. As of now the government has yet to make a formal statement on the issue. |

He also said that he hoped he wouldn't but he has suspended all visas from these countries Rokkenjima, East Moorland and Seaforth. This also includes journalists etc with this all people in Transvaal are to be immediately leave peacefully. He has also said that the island of Brook Field will continued to be leased to the USR. He also stressed that countries should not be criticizing another country if it has not signed human rights treaty. With this he said that 'this is not a moral war and that other countries should not be coming out and insulting the oldest tradition in Transvaal.'  People cheering as President William announced the changes to the governments policy. With reports on the governments new decision people have cheered on the government one protester said 'It is good to see that President William knows when to listen to the people of his nation if Rokkenjima and East Moorland want to insult our ancient tradition, well then they don't deserve any place or cooperation with Transvaal. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story today: New change on slavery policy In a new decision the government has decided that the act of acquiring any new slaves from Great Jonothania will be stopped however the act will still be permitted in Transvaal and that all current slaves will stay as slaves and that their children will now become slaves as well. This decision has come off international pressure from other nations. Where as the denial of the return of the QAMB has lead to outrage in the streets. With reports that three Rokkenjima's have been lynched after the report that Rokkenjima would not back off. The people reported to have been killed was one Journalist and two Nationals. With this report Emperor Constantine has come out and declared Martial Law until all Rokkenjima's have returned to Rokkenjima later today. President William has come out and said he condemn any sort of violence against the people trying to leave peacefully he later said this 'We condemn these acts as they are not what Transvaal aspires to become, but we must also condemn the Rokkenjima government for putting it's own interests above it's civilians safety.' President William appeared saddened by the policy he had to take and he says that when this ordeal and crisis is over he hoped that nations will return to normal and forget that this ever happened, following this he said that 'I aim to work out the best possible solution to the situation and that he will come to the table on one condition that Rokkenjima returns the QAMB to Tranvaalian control and then Transvaal will sign the declaration for human rights.' |

Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top stories tonight: Blockade of Transvaal begins USR invasion of Meche Racial tensions heat up in Thomradia Our first story tonight though In a surprise move by the international community many nations have decided to blockade Transvaal on the topic of slavery in Transvaal. The nations that will be blockading Transvaal are East Moorland, Rokkenjima and Seaforth. While other nations have also sanctioned Transvaal President William has also made a surprise move by deporting all nationals of the nations that have sanctioned and Blockaded Transvaal. This however is not what lead to the death of three Rokkenjima citizens, that was due to the fact that Rokkenjima would not return the QAMB. New polls have come in saying that many citizens of Transvaal approve of President Williams decision to deport these citizens. He did say 'this act is a temporary ban on the nations who have sanctioned and blockaded Transvaal and that when these acts are removed only then will we go back on my governments decision.'  Rokkenjima fleet moving to blockade Pretoria Our second story tonight: The USR has made a drastic move and invaded the neighboring of Meche, the invasion comes only after a week after the Meche elections where a new leader was chosen, many observes have noted that the USR may have invaded in order to protect it's assets in the country since the new president had signed the declaration of human rights and appeared to be breaking off ties with the USR. This comes after the previous president had a rather friendlier policy towards the USR. Here we have some photos of the invasion.  The invasion was so unexpected that civilians were surprised when a military helicopter flew overhead that wasn't Mechen And now for our last story tonight: Racial tensions have heated up in Thomradian city of Mynydd after reports of a murder of a Celtic boy by a dangerous gang of Slavs. Thomradia was known for being racially divided. Tensions have escalated however with the racial speech made by the chairman of the USR saying that the Slavs were the leaders of humanity. This has provoked riots and protests thought Thomradia and has forced the government to crack down on them to reduce violence but it seems that issue is just getting bigger and bigger. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story tonight: Hurricane Katrina Heading for Transvaal A freak storm so big it has been classified as a Hurricane has appeared over the the Krimeon Sea, It is expected to make landfall at Antwerp tomorrow, Citizens are being warned that put away any lose items in their backyards as they may go flying. People are also urged to get sandbags and pile them up against windows. Emergency services are on standby in case of flash flooding. Even thought Winds during the Hurricane are only expected to reach about 50 to 60 km/hr the Governor issued a statement saying that 'Even though it is not expected that any damage will happen you can never be to safe especially when it comes to freak occurrences like this. I urge citizens to stay indoors, do not go outside during this event and especially to offer to share your house with people who don't have a home in this dangerous time.' The storm is expected to move quickly on from Antwerp then onto Ireden and East Moreland within the week.  What you see now is the expected path of Hurricane Katrina and you see that it makes a large pass over Transvaal. We urge citizens in Carolina, Venetia, Constantinople and Holland to start preparing now as you can never be to prepared for something like this. The Government is will be starting to help out with the preparation efforts their soon and we expect every citizen to help out his fellow citizen in times like this. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our Top Story Tonight: Sanctions Repealed Shortly after the changes to the Transvaal's slave policy all nations who had previously sanctioned and embargoed have Repealed their sanctions of our nation this has lead to President William happily reporting that all nations who previously had their visas banned are now once again permitted to come back and live in Transvaal. He also says that he has just received a papers from the Illumic Council concerning the possibility of Diplomatic Agreement Text and Trade Agreement Text, President William said 'I plan to sign these agreements in as they will provide the much needed stability and economic base to help improve both countries.' But after President William signs the document he must then send it to emperor Constantine to sign who has also showed he supports this deal. Our second story tonight USR base in Peril Reports have been released showing that Transvaal may sell the island of Brook Field to another person for 28 billion. The reason is because many nations in the channel have pressured Transvaal into giving the base over to a neighbor who is closer to Transvaal. Foreign Minister John Fredrick Kelly said 'We plan return all the money lost by the USR in order so that they don't lose any money that they spent on the base.' |

Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story tonight! : Emperor Mobilizes troops Emperor Constantine 'the great' has Mobilized the standing army to move into the provinces of Venetia, Holland, Constantinople and Carolina, the troops are there to help prepare these provenances for Hurricane Katrina. He has also called up all the reserves in the army to help out in the preparation. He said the following 'All soldiers in the army are to report to their command center as you will be redeployed to the northern provinces of Transvaal in order to help out and prepare the people in those provinces, also all naval vessels in the Illumic channel are to report into the harbor in Venetia. This is so that any of our navel vessels in the channel do not get damaged or sunk.'  Supplies and Troops moving out to Constantinople Our next story New education minister announced. President William announced today that a new department would be made. It's purpose is to manage the country's education and research. The new Minister would be Minister for Education Jane Thatcher. She said 'I am proud to be in control of this nations education, I will maintain this nations great education and will aim to continue to improve our great nations education for as we know the children are our future.' Her speech was meet with applause from citizens who are happy to see a department dedicated to the education of Transvaal. It is rumored that the first thing to be done by the department is to implement an advanced mathematics and science courses aimed at high achievers. President William said 'This alliance will make us stronger as a nation and more secure from other threats in the world, not only is this a military alliance it is also an economic alliance and a diplomatic alliance. First and Foremost Transvaal and Toshikawa workers will be able to apply for a fast track visa's for the purpose of visiting the home nation of that company, and any company must at least have 50% of its workforce in the host recruited locally. But back the military side, The new deal will allow a permanent military base to be established in Toshikawa for our troops and Toshikawa will receive a permanent military base in Transvaal to station their troops. We hope this deal will strengthen bonds between our two nations especially in this drastic time Toshikawa we hope that what we have done today will be successful in preventing more incidents such as an Illumic Crisis.' Emperor Constantine also said he liked the new deal as 'it would mean the combination of two great armies into to one great army during times of upheaval and chaos.' Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story's tonight: War in IO... More troops deployed to Toshikawa... But to our first story, today Rokkenjima has announced that it will go ahead with it's ultimatum to the USR and declare war on the USR. This comes after the USR failed to comply with the ultimatum which stated that the USR would withdraw all troops from Meche following their invasion of the nation. Not only will Rokkenjima go to war with the USR, it will be joined by the following nations. Tytor, CAS, Achkaerin Dartfordia, South Hills and Communist Quinntopia. This has isolated the USR especially since two of the WARSAW nations communications have been blacked out, Ireden due to Hurricane Katrina and Thomradia due to Civil War. Sanctions are expected to be stepped up against the USR. But luckily for the USR Hurricane Katrina is still active in the Illumic Channel which has slowed down the fleets of nations attempting to go through it. There have also been reports of high explosive missile attacks by the USR which have been aimed at civilians. In retaliation Meche has launched it's own missiles at the USR but their have been no reports of the missiles. When this was announced Emperor Constantine was quick to say. When asked about what these troops were going to do in Toshikawa the Emperor said that it was confidential information. President William has come out and said he supports these moves as they will preserve the 'integrity and progressiveness of Toshikawa.' Many citizens are still skeptical as to wither Transvaal should be involved in the matter, one civilian said 'Transvaal shouldn't really be messing around in other country's business, and if Toshikawa wants to keep their old system of government than that is their choice and we can't do anything about least we start to become the USR.' But it seems as though for now that Transvaal and the current Toshikawa government will get along well as long as this current government wins the civil war! Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our top story tonight: Transvaal at War! Today Emperor Constantine 'The Great' has declared that an official state of war between Transvaal and the Toshikawa rebels will be in effect immediately, this comes after a video was leaked of the rebels killing most of the Transvaal captured soldiers in what many civilians have described as a 'sadistic ritual'. The video has made many citizens angry and called for the emperor to commit even more troops to the civil war. But Emperor Constantine has said that he will not be sending more troops instead Transvaal will dedicate 25 drones to the war. This was his statement on the situation.
With this news many citizens have applauded the emperor and the actions he has taken, a recent poll taken shows that support for the emperor has risen to 96% in support of emperor Constantine and 4% not in support of emperor Constantine. The Pope has also commented on the situation asking that the bodies of the soldiers be returned to Transvaal so that there soles be able to move on to meet the Prophet. He also said that
President William has also stated following these tragic events his government will make a new help line for people who have been effected by the video of the soldiers being executed. |

After Several years of planning and construction the Transvaal Navy has finally finished and launched the Pretorian Class Battleship. These ships are expected to be the cornerstone of the Transvaal navy as they will provide new amounts of fire power never before used by our navy. They also come with the new ability of being able to launch drones from their beam it is expected that these ships will change the way the Transvaal navy will now act, now that it has extra fire power. A report has been released today by the government stating that Transvaal's economy has steadily grown since it came to power, Minister for the Economy Nikola Khrushchev gave the report and said 'What we have seen over the past few months has been the result of small business growth which in turn has greatly helped out the economy, this has also lead to consumers becoming more confident and investors to keep investing in Transvaal companies. We owe thanks to my governments staunch position on tariffs, ever since these tariffs have been in place companies have felt safe to expand and hire more workers without the fear of foreign companies taking them over. Here is a graph showing the recent growth.'  With this report out a recent poll shows that support for the government has increased with them now being favored at 74%, pundits have praised the government for the increase in economic growth and urge it to continue it's policy of strong tariffs. However this does mean that it will be more difficult for Transvaal to join the CIS since they want to implement a no tariff policy, with this now in play how will President William handle the situation, only time will tell. |

The punishment for these types of people will most likely be execution, we are just lucky we stopped these terrorists from doing any sort of damage.' Evidence reviled about arrested terrorists: Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon has just released the evidence against the Terror group that called themselves 'Destruction Force.' It is also said that this group came under the false pretense as the Rokkenjima Citizen Ambassadors Program. It is reported that in the house of the suspected leader there was plans and architecture of the Transvaal Parliament showing the parts of the building that were the weakest and most likely to fall if a bomb was detonated and kill President William and the whole government. There was also the plan to assassinate Emperor Constantine 'The Great' after he had returned from the CIS talks, after they had killed the President and Emperor Constantine they planned to take over Transvaal. There was also a plan to drive a truck into the middle of the city and detonate it and kill as many civilians as possible. In fact it turns out the truck was actually ready to explode and the bomb was armed, but thankfully police have defused that. The police also found 10 million dollars worth of narcotics collectively in each of the terror groups homes that they rented. Mr Nixon went onto say that this threat has been stopped and that civilians have no need to fear any attack like this from occurring. Many believe that the case is open and shut especially since the terrorists were found in the houses they occupied at the time. Reports are that police are still continuing to disarm bombs that we ready to go off. The government also said that they would be willing to let Rokkenjima pay for a defense, the case is expected to be open and shut due to fact that the terrorists were found caught doing the final preparations. The reason the police didn't move in earlier was because they didn't want to risk the bombs going off and endangering civilians in the area. Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon said that the government was going to respect the courts decision regardless of the outcome, and the new Rokkenjima threats won't change anything and that making threats now would simply be making it harder for the terrorist to have a chance of a fair trial. |

In a surprise announcement, Emperor Constantine has decided to release 45 of the current detained prisoners stating that Pope Frederick II came to him during the private discussions and said that the god had spoken to him and told him that 45 of the 50 terrorists had no part in the terrorist plot and were mislead by their leaders who were taking advantage of poor manipulated souls who had no intention of causing harm to the people of Transvaal. However since the other five members were the leaders who will now not only have attempted murder and attempted terrorism and other terrible crimes they will now also have 'manipulation of people with the intent of harm' crime added to their charges. President William said that he makes no apologizes for what his government has done, as he believes it was in his best interest of safety to protect Transvaal, even if that meant at the cost of international relations. He also said understands that the mental state of some of the former people charged were terrorism will not be the same as it was before, that is why he will be giving $500,000 per person in compensation. The people that are to be released will have the exact same rights as before the incident and free to continue on as regular civilians. The other five members will still be tried as criminals and terrorists. Today three of the five leaders of the terrorist group known as Destruction Force have been executed. While the other two have been given five back to back life imprisonment charges. The five members were tried and charged over the course of three days with the them all being found guilty of the crimes. Attempted murder, attempted terrorism, attempted murder of the monarch, attempted overthrow of the democratic system, attempted arson, making of high explosives, attempted destruction of a state building, manipulation with the intent of harm, drug trafficking and finally attempting to cause public fear. Each member was tried individually at different times in the past three days. The two members that were sentenced to five life imprisonments were reported to have broke down and confessed during the trial and admitted that they were guilty of all the crimes. The three that were executed are also said to show no humility with one even saying that he was deeply disappointed that he couldn't execute their plan to kill emperor Constantine. Due to Transvaal law no cameras are allowed to film court cases but an audio of the case is up on our website www.tnn.com.ta. The three were given the option of how they would like to be executed and all three chose firing squad, we have a picture of one of them. In a statement by Rokkenjiman officials, it was hinted at that Rokkenjima may look to move out of the QAMB and into a new base somewhere in Achkaerin, this was the offical statement.
When asked about this Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon said that he hoped that one day the QAMB would be returned to Transvaal and he hopes that it will be done so with little to no crisis needed. With this announcement the idea of the QAMB being given back to Transvaal is now back on everyone's mind and only time will tell what happens to the QAMB and wither or not it gets returned to Transvaal. Our next story Transvaal sanctions against Tytor Earlier today President William said that Transvaal would be imposing sanctions against the kingdom of Tytor. These sanctions came after Tytor announced that it didn't acknowlage same sex couples and refused the idea of them getting married. President William also said that. TNN bringing you the full story[/center][/big] Hello and welcome to TNN[/big] Our top story tonight Transvaal military investment in USR Today Minister for the Economy Nikola Khrushchev announced that an increased investment into military production would take place between Transvaal and the USR. It is believed that this deal will straighten relations between the two nations while also helping to increase our military versatility. The main goal of this investment would be make sure that the Transvaal military would be increased. Nikola Khrushchev also said that the current war would not affect the arrangement and that plans would go ahead as usual. It is believed that President William will send 15 million dollars to invest in the production of factories and and facility's that will help with the improvement and research into better military weapons and navel vessels. Resources aren't expected to be a problem since Transvaal and the USR being sanctioned the iron ore, oil and other necessary resources that would usually be exported to other nations are expected to be used in this new deal. One of the new military vehicles expected to be mass produced is the K2 Black Panther seen here.  Our next story Transvaal navy increased. Today Emperor Constantine announced that plans for a massive 'Floating Fortress' to be built in Peniche Bay. The Fortress will be used to be a home away from home for the air force and navy's that operate in Peniche Bay. This Fortress will help protect Transvaal in times of war as it will allow operations to be conducted further away than they could before. The company behind the construction is. Koch Brothers Incorporated a spokesperson for the company said. 'Koch Brothers Incorporated is happy to be working on this massive project and we can't wait to help out our country by protecting it from foreign influence. The construction of the Fortress is expected to produce over 5 million jobs in the next 2 years.' Emperor Constantine has ordered 3 Floating Fortress two of which are to be built in the Illumic Channel. Emperor Constantine had this statement. 'When these Fortress are complete the Trade Empire of Transvaal will have nothing to fear from pirates and other hostile personal as we will be able to show that Transvaal is able to protect ourselves while dealing the necessary punch that will show how we do things.' This was a real surprise especially since the Dyfedian team was rumored to have only been put together a day before they left. The game has left Coach Adam Perkins stunned and he had this to say. 'It is obvious we underestimated our opponents and we paid the price for it. We'll just have to move on as usual and focus on the next game ahead of us which is Quintopia which will be our hardest match.' While this is Transvaal's first ever world cup they were still expected to beat Dyfedia a team which had been favored at 66/1. The vehicles are expected to arrive in Transvaal in two days with the money having only been sent today. To avoid complications with the international community the vehicles are expected to be dismantled and flown over to Transvaal refueling at veracious airstrips along the way. Rudolf Nixon described the deal as 'One that will make the Trade Empire of Transvaal prepared for any sort of air attack that our enemy's might throw at us. Wither that be from the sea ground or air we will be ready.' Following President William Van Brugge's speech he gave at the progressive party's convention. Empress Beatrice gave her response to his speech and she talked to the voters here in Transvaal with the hope that she would convince them to not vote for him. Well it seems what she has done has backfired as all new polls indicate that President William Van Brugge is now enjoys a 70.4% lead compared to the opposition leader Mr Clark who only has 20% of the vote with independents having 9.6% of the vote now. In the polls their were questions asked as to why you are voting for that person and the response the polls received was. 'She called our government murderers, how does she expect for us to come to the table when we are accused of crimes we haven't committed', another person said. 'The definition of imperialism is: a policy of extending a country's power and influence through colonization, use of military force, or other means. By making the QAMB an overseas territory she has in fact become an imperialist.', 'She said that they have no other base in the Illumic then she goes and contradicts herself.', 'Our President stated what would solve the issue but like the stubborn toddler that is Rokkenjima they won't give it back because they're to immature!', 'President William clearly regrets the deal he made with Rokkenjima and wishes the undo the situation.', 'If Rokkenjima can look at it from our perspective of having a military base RIGHT IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD then maybe they would understand that we would just be a little paranoid and mad that we could be attacked at any second, so to put it in other words us living in fear of being attacked everyday is not exactly a healthy way to live.' and finally 'She expects to believe her blatant lies then she must think we are no better than simple farm cattle waiting to be culled. I think not, if she were to make such comments in our country then I can't think of what my fellow citizens would do to her and I couldn't say that I would stop them.' When asked about the speech and statements President William Van Brugge had this to say. 'Well it's a clear sign that the people of this great nation will not be swayed by such childish comments and will not stoop to such lows as to show disrespect to ones culture and history. For what she has said and done I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to let her into my house let alone onto my property, and I'm fairly sure most other citizens would agree that letting her onto their property would force them to move out of town with the shame they would endure of having such a person into their home. It is also extremely rude when someone who you think would conduct themselves more orderly as it would do her well to know that Transvaal has been doing tremendously under the current administration and so we will blame most of our problems on Rokkenjima because that is were most of them come from. I think it would do Beatrice some good if she was to be educated in one of Transvaal's public schools as she would learn how to be a decent person. I'm sure their's more I could say especially about how I am some sort of murderer or so according to Beatrice the people of Transvaal love murders is that why she is currently holding talks with the USR the nation who has killed more Rokkenjimans and USR citizens than Rokkenjima. This means that President Williams Progressive Party now has a majority government and doesn't even need the opposition party to pass legislation. This will allow him to pass his party's agenda un-opposed and will allow him to truly leave his mark on Transvaal. It is expected that the first bill he passes will be a missile defense act to protect key facilities and many cites from missile attacks. In one hour he is expected to give his election victory speech.  People celebrating President Williams election victory Our next story First Floating Fortress completed After months of construction and many billions of dollars spent the first of three massive Floating Fortress has been complete. The Floating Fortress will be used as a mobile military base used to extend Transvaal's navel capabilities. While the other two fortress are expected to be used for long range operations. Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon in a statement said 'The first Floating Fortress will be deployed for primary use in the Illumic this will allow us to have our navy at full potential in the Illumic and really allow us to protect Transvaal' Many people are skeptical as to wither or not the Fortress will even float but Mr Nixon assured that it indeed did float. |

It came after it was reported that the Knights of Pretoria (the popes holy order) had secured and began reconstruction of an old monastery that had been destroyed since Pastor Johns days. Once the monastery has been completed it is expected that thousands of pilgrims will make their way to Mt Kailash to pray and conduct other religious activities. It is expected that the pope will also join the pilgrims going to Mt Kailash, while he is their he would also be able to communicate with the newly formed Slavic Federation in order to work out some deal where The Slavic Federation and the Church of the Prophet can co-exist. We will now show the speech he made on the Vatican balcony. 'Welcome followers of the prophet. Today I have come to address you because I am happy to announce that we have achieved victory for god and the prophet, earlier today I received word from our most pious fighters in the Knights of Pretoria that they have secured Mt Kailash for the Prophet and have begun reconstruction on the Pastor Johns Monastery. Today we have become closer to god. He has clearly shown us that he believes we are on the right path as he would have prevented us from being victorious if it wasn't right. So today I say to the Slavic Federation. God has forgiven you as you are proving that you truly are people of faith as you have been willing to allow us to continue without interruption. So I give my blessing to the new leader of The Slavic Federation and hope that you make your country stronger than it was before. In this time I would also like to thank the soldiers that conducted this operation as they are the strongest of us all. Hello and welcome to the Transvaal news network TNN bringing you the full story Hello and welcome to TNN Our Top Story Tonight Revelations about Seaforth Church Earlier today a lady who goes by the name of Tara X released documents revealing that the Catholic Church in Seaforth had been conducting a eugenics program for centuries and may even been continuing to this day. Besides these documents little is still known about the eugenics program. It does however mention that the royal family of Seaforth was involved and manipulated, as to wither or not the royal family of Seaforth was aware or indeed supported this program is still not known. It is expected that Transvaal's government is expected to make some address about the situation. On social media many people have tweeted out saying their disgust at the Seaforthan Catholic Church and some are even beginning to ask if the Church of the Prophet has been doing something similar. Yet when one of our reporters asked a spokesperson for the church said that Pope Frederick the second is extremely saddened that an organization who claims that they are representing their god would attempt to try and play god. He followed by saying that the Church of the Prophet would never attempt to alter gods creation by molding people to become what we desire. President William has called an emergency meeting of the parliament to discuss what to do with the situation. They are expected to come to a conclusion later today. 8 hours later We are being told that President William is going to make a live statement on what the government is going to do. "Today we learned of a horrific practice that was being carried out by the Seaforthan Catholic Church, a practice that goes against the very nature of human decency and nature. What we have learned today shows that the Seafortan Church is stuck in the past, a past where it was believed that one could bend human genetics to their own will, a past where the rights of people was not up held and a past that should remain exactly that, a past. Unfortunately the past sometimes shows its head for better or worse and on this occasion the past has shown it's ugly head, a head that should be cut off before it bits onto someone or something and spreads it's corruption through that somethings body and has an impact on the world around it. While it is still to early to tell we must assume that it is not only the people of Seaforth that suffered under this program, but also it's goods that is why I must announce that Transvaal will be closing it's border with Seaforth, we will also be putting a blanket ban on all Seaforth exports. We have to take these measures to ensure that Transvaal doesn't fall under the same corruption that is in Seaforth. Until we have further information I am also placing a ban from all Transvaalians going into Seaforth as they would risk exposure to this evil practice. Anyone found trying to enter to and from Seaforth will now be arrested and sent back to their respective country, this includes citizens from Seaforth. The visit is expected to the formal and official opening of relations between the two nations. It is also expected that a special building will be built to house any Rokkenjiman official staying in Transvaal at the time. The building will be started once the Premier of Rokkenjima has opened the site. President William Van Brugge had this to say. These results have shown that the QAMB is still a hot topic of discussion in Transvaal and will not be dispersing any time soon. Tony Abbott leader of the minority One Nation Party stated that. 'Transvaal and Rokkenjima are just naturally not meant to be working together. This is a result of their imperialistic aims of dominating the entirety of Mundus. In a speech given at the event Emperor Constantine said 'I stand here today proud that I am able to open Transvaal's newest institute of higher learning. With the opening of Harvard college we will allow for hundreds of gifted Transvaalians who excel in their academia to finally have a place which caters to their needs and ability's. This college will be specifically used to foster the next generation of leaders and allows us to finally encourage learning to the highest degree. This college will be a primary scholarship based college with students being accepted based on skill and merit and not simply because their parents can afford to pay for them to attend. Harvard College will be the best higher learning facility in all of Transvaal with the best professors and lecherous being available at Harvard. I hope in the future that I to will have a child who is able enough to attend this college. So without furthermore I hereby proclaim that Harvard College of Higher Learning is officially open.' Official reports indicate that the Air Force will be receiving the bulk of the expansion with 250 CAIC Z-10 Attack Helicopters being added along with 150 JL-9 Light Attack Aircraft, 50 Avenger Drones, 250 Glass Brakers and 200 Lockheed Multi-Role Fighters. The Navy will be receiving a smaller expansion and upgrade to the Air Force, this will be in the form of 2 King Peter Class Aircraft Carriers, 50 Protection Class Submarines, 10 Swift Class Helicopter Destroyers 90 Steadfast Class Frigate and 100 Freedom Class Combat Ship. When asked about why the Emperor was doing this build up now he said 'I feel that right now is the best time to build up our armed forces especially in a time of great peace, the heat of the world has moved on from Transvaal and the Illumic to more important areas such as intervening in Zachachevania. With these additions we are allowing for our nation to further it's defense as well as not only providing needed jobs while also allowing us to employ more service men and women. It will also allow us to ensure that our current navy and air force is up to scrap with the rest of the world.' It is expected that the current military expansion should pass through the House and the Senate relatively unopposed. The hole plan is expected to have an upwards cost of somewhere between 15 to 20 billion dollars. How this affects current government expenditure is still to be discussed but Minister for the Economy Nikola Khrushchev said that 'The expansion would have mitigated effect on the current Parliamentary Budget that the government will announce.' Today in a full siting in Parliament Minister for the economy Nikola Khrushchev released the governments budget for 2015-2016 the main areas that were important included Emperor Constantine's military expansion, a new military base to be built on St. Tomas island just north of the QAMB, pay increase for military servicemen, increase in foreign aid spending, a new multinational corporation tax, lowing of tariffs, tax rebate for households that use green energy, new tax on foreign religious organizations. Military Expansion: Emperor Constantine's military expansion, before the budget was released Emperor Constantine released a new bill that focused on expanding the military of Transvaal, this was expected to be part of the new budget as Mr Khrushchev stated that this expansion would have a 'mitigated' effect on the governments budget. The new expansion is expected to create thousands of new jobs in the military service. New military base: In the new budget the government plans to build a new military base on St Tomas Island which is planned to make thousands of jobs in the future and will help with the protection of Transvaal. Pay increase for military personal: Standard pay increase for the military should please some conservative members of the opposition and increase the governments support in more conservative areas. Foreign aid increase: Another standard increase, this time to foreign aid. It is expected that the increase will go towards nations like Adrianople and Nueva Ardia. New tax on Multinationals: This new tax is targeted at multinational corporations who operate in Transvaal the new tax is starting at 15% on top of the already existing taxation of 25%, this means that these big corporations will be paying 40% in taxation to the government. Lower Tariffs: To compensate for the new taxes on corporations the government has decided to lower taxes to only 10% instead of 20%. This is expected to please the business sector of the economy. Tax rebate: The new tax rebate for homes that use green energy is expected to give families that have green energy as their main source of energy consumption a small 3% tax rebate on their income tax to help support and maintain support for green energy in Transvaal. Religious Tax: This new tax is tacking aim at religious organizations that don't come from Transvaal, while this tax won't infringe on peoples right to hold a different belief to the church of the prophet. It will now require them to pay an extra 3% income tax. It is believed that Pope Frederick II asked for this new tax to be implemented after finding out that the next Nya Åland government would be pursuing a policy of trying to convert citizens across the globe. So far the public hasn't taken a side on the budget with a poll stating that 80% said that this budget didn't effect them or interest them. While 15% said they liked/supported the government and only 5% saying they didn't like/agree with the budget. We will continue to monitor public opinion of the budget, but it appears that the public thinks that this budget isn't important. |

Following the new tax the government had implemented on foreign religious organizations the Rokkenjiman Rosari Church has applied for a tax exemption citing that the funds they accumulate are for the repairs and maintenance for the church. This morning the government decided that a Senate committee should review this application, Minister for Internal Affairs Rudolf Nixon would head this review. Pope Frederick II was also reported that he would be in attendance at the review. We will bring you further information as it is released. If you would like to watch this review live just tune into C-Span 2. 1 hour later We are now just hearing reports saying that the application by the Rosari Church has been accepted. It was a unanimous decision with even Pope Frederick II agreeing that the Rosari Church should be exempt saying that 'The Rosari Church has proven itself to be a church which doesn't threaten our own and its citizens deserve to be exempt from this tax.' Rudolf Nixon agreed stating 'Unlike the other religions we have seen around Mundus I feel the Rosari Church has proven not to be a threat to our own religious institution and this is an application that I can support.' The final report by the committee says that all citizens that follow the Rosari Church are now exempt from the new religious tax. Also the Rosari Church will now be able to file their taxes under 'Charitable work/organization' meaning that they will no longer have to pay the tax unless they do their tax forms wrong. Earlier today President Van Brugge stated that he would bring up the idea of Transvaal joining the CTO at the parties national conference. He stated that 'I think that if Transvaal is going to be part of these large organizations it should be a matter that is thoroughly discussed and not hastily done, firstly we here at the Progressive Party need to have an inner discussion and vote, only after we have done that and voted on the idea will we either move forward and put this to the House of Representatives. While I personally think that Transvaal should not take part in this Organization I will do what is best by the country and if the party feels as if joining this organization would be in Transvaal's best interests then I will concede and allow for Transvaal to apply.' With the Progressive Party's national conference coming up shortly it will allow enough time for the party members to make up their own minds. It is expected that if President Van Brugge gets his way that he will use that momentum to push for a referendum on Transvaal's membership on the MCUR. His complaints about the MCUR stem from his arguments that Transvaal shouldn't be forced to follow in the footsteps of those in Rokkenjima. He now also points out that 'If East Moreland has the ability to leave the CIS then Transvaalians should be able to decide if they want to continue being part of the MCUR.'  President Van Brugge addressing the National Press Club Our Next Biggest Story Private Members Bill on Immigration? Today leader of One Nation Party Tony Abbott told the press that he would be introducing a Private Members Bill on Transvaal's immigration policy stating that 'Transvaal accepts way to many immigrants from all over, we simply don't have the space that a nation like the Slavic Federation has. We can't expect the public sector to cope in the future with the amount of immigrants that we accept is just staggering. We need to take a more hard line approach to immigration, we need to take after nations such as the Slavic Federation.' Because quite frankly we don't know why these people have come the Transvaal, when President Van Brugge arrested the 50 Rokkenjiman terrorists, I was fully supportive of the government because at that time of uncertainty we saw the government take the initiative at protect Transvaal, currently though President Van Brugge has flip flopped on his ability to deal with Rokkenjima and their imperialistic ways, this is alarming and why I have proposed the Transvaal Citizens Protection Bill, the reason I'm making it a private members bill is because it will allow us to gain as much support for the Bill as possible.' When asked what the TCPB would propose, Tony Abbott said that 'The TCPB is effectively a combination of both the Slavic Federations Terrorist Association Bill and their Patriarchal Bill.' President Van Brugge had this to say earlier 'Today I stand here to say that my party will propose a bill to the Parliament where by MP's will have the option to vote on wither or not the Trade Empire of Transvaal should join the organization known as the Commonwealth Treaty Organization. The vote in the Transvaal Progressive Party was a split between our members with 160 members voting to allow the bill to be proposed while 126 members voted against the proposal of the bill. While I voted against the bill I will not stand in the way of the party caucus since I feel that this is a bill that should be voted on by the parliament.' We asked President Van Brugge what he thought of the Private Members Bill on immigration that was being proposed by the One Nation Party. 'I will be urging all ministers in both my party and the National Front and the Country Party to vote against this bill as it's passing would officially cast doubt on this parliament and if passed I would see what legislative power I have to veto the Bill, I would even go so far as to have Emperor Constantine Veto the bill. While I'm positive it won't have to come to this I will be preparing for the worst. But like I said before I expect that tomorrow when we vote on the bill we'll be talking about what might have happened instead of what shouldn't of happened.' It is expected that the Immigration Act won't pass but will provide a test to the influence of the One Nation Party.  President Van Brugge addressing the press Our Next Story Crisis In Zimalia The nation of Zimalia to the north of Transvaal across the Illumic, reports have indicated that there maybe an outbreak of a possible deadly disease but current estimates are unknown. In response to this Foreign Minister Kelly said that Transvaal will be sending a small unit of medical workers to help research and assist in preventing the disease from becoming out of control. It has also been leaked that the current government response has been minimal. The disease is believed to have originated from either the food the people have been consuming or from the lack of quality water. One strange incident that has occurred is that the terrorist organization Borland is believed to be helping in the medical effort in Zimalia, with the Borlands asking for support in the form of money and supplies. Minister for Internal Affairs Nixon had this to say about this report 'The fact that we see a terrorist organization asking for support when it comes to disease prevention I think should simply be taken with a grain of salt, what we are seeing now could best be described as more brain dead propaganda. The simple fact that the leader of that death cult, Mr Kyle is claiming it for his own gain is simply disgusting. The fact that he would take these people's suffering and try to turn it into tool to increase there attempts to make them appear human should prompt anybody to see it for what it is. After weeks of staling and filibustering the Transvaal government has declared that the vote on whether or not to apply for CTO membership has failed and that Transvaal will not go ahead and attempt to apply for CTO membership. A few weeks ago prominent members from the Progressive Party's left faction threatened to 'go rouge' and split from the party but thankfully for President Van Brugge he was able to reign in the members of the left faction. The final result looking like this. 277 Anti CTO: 136 TPP, NF 113, CP 13, ONP 5 204 Pro CTO: 150 TPP, 42 NF, 10 Green, 2 CP. While the TPP didn't have all of it's party members in line it was able to secure enough votes to reject the call to apply for the CTO, it was also a rare instance where the Nation Front voted with the Progressive Party. President Van Brugge held a press conference earlier. "Now that this issue is over will you look to push for a referendum on Transvaals part in the MCUR?" "Yes I believe that we now know that this course of action will most likely be taken as we have demonstrated that this government at a basic and fundamental level rejects the idea of world wide organizations which just hold back nations and don't allow them to expand and explore at a faster rate!" "Mr President, is it true that if you do go ahead with a referendum on the MCUR then the left faction will split from your party and prevent you from forming government?" "All this talk of party splits and whatnot is just silly, there is no indication that the Progressive Party will split into left and right factions, still though some members of the cabinet have voiced there concerns over the idea of the referendum. I am currently taking in all advice on the issue." "So what your implying Mr President is that you will push ahead with this referendum?" "Not at all, I am just saying that we are looking at all options and we won't rule out anything just yet! Thank you." I will say this though that under a National Front government they would slash and burn the public health and education budget just to give there political donates a bit of extra cash in the form of tax cuts to the rich. Well I just don't buy it. The National Party would rather leave an 80 year old woman without public health care to treat herself and force them out of retirement.' President Van Brugges opinion polls have slumped a bit recently with his standings now at only 56% which is meager compared to what he has experienced over the course of his leadership with polls usually being in the 65%-72% range. It is suspected that this has been due to his decision to not join the CTO which the left faction of the TPP has described as an opportunity wasted. Some political analysts have described it as a move which has put the President in line with the liks of the One Nation Party and the Country Party. The party's that the electorate didn't want and didn't vote for. |

Today President Brugge has resisted calls from other nations to change his immigration policy, amid calls for a humanitarian response to the current refugee crisis. The main calls have come from foreign nations such as Lakhzovia who say they can't cope with the current refugee crisis. Further Lakhzovia has claimed that most of these refugees are simply going to Lakhzovia just to get through to Transvaal and are taking the perilous journey to get to Lakhzovia by boats and then they are moving through the nation to try and make it to Transvaal. Early reports indicate that an increase in ethnic tension has arisen in Lakhzovia and is causing a major disturbance to the local population. The Lakhzovia has also reported that they currently don't have the economic ability and resources to successfully process the massive influx of refugees. When asked about this President Van Brugge said. "Transvaal's policy of boat turnbacks is a proven method and has successful stopped people dying at sea. The problems we see in Lakhzovia are a major concern and if the border continues to be found not to be secure then we will be forced to step up efforts to prevent illegal immigrants coming into Transvaal. What my government does support is legal and correct immigration. Seeing as Lakhzovia does not currently posses enough resources to manage the crisis. My government will be willing to offer help to the Lakhzovia government in the form of helping to protect their border and providing finical aid to help finance the governments efforts to process these refugees. I also call upon the CTO to help and provide aid to the nations that need it most such as Lakhzovia, only with a global effort can we even begin to deal with this crisis." One Nation leader Tony Abbott had this to say about the crisis. "What we have seen is a government which has completely abandoned its own countrymen. President Van Brugge believes that these so called 'refugees' truly are in danger whereas it has been proven time and time again that the people are nothing more than mere economic migrants who want to jump the queue and get to Transvaal the easy way. If One Nation was in government we wouldn't be accepting any migrants at all. Further the crisis on the Transvaal-Lakhzovia border is becoming uncontrollable every day thousands upon thousands of illegals are flooding into Transvaal and this government isn't doing a dang thing about it. All they can offer is mere lip service and hope the problem gets swept under the rug. The reasons behind this were as the minister said. "The current refugee crisis is greatly effecting the nation Lakhzovia and only with international cooperation can we begin to deal with the crisis. So in order for us to play our part on the international stage we must assist those who need help and the government of Lakhzovia has requested aid. In response we the government with the aid of Emperor Constantine and the military will be helping Lakhzovia to patrol the bay of Nakim. The military will also be sending 1000 advisors to help train and advise Lakhzovia security forces to help deal with the crisis. Transvaal will also be providing economic aid which should be used to help build shelter and supply these refugees to help protect them. While some on the opposite side of the Parliament might say that this is a wasted effort and that Transvaal should be looking to secure its border before helping other nations. That is simply incorrect and I inform the opposition that not only is the border secure but we are seeing a record numbers of drops in illegal immigrant getting through the border and the border security force is effectively deporting hundreds of illegals every day." Federal Opposition Leader John Clark has said. "President Van Brugge's and Foreign Minister Kelly's decision to aid the nation of Lakhzovia is just another example of where the current government has just thrown money down the drain at a problem which is getting out of control. Simply put our border is under siege and the only way to fix this crisis is to have a strong crack down on illegal immigration. Current statistics show that up to 12 million illegal immigrants currently live in Transvaal that is 12 million to many and it's this governments ability to do nothing that has lead to this problem getting out of hand, if this problem gets any worse I'll have to agree with One Nation Leader Tony Abbott that the military would need to be brought in." "The current crisis we see now is one that needs to be dealt with in a humanitarian way, this would mean that Transvaal should be taking in its fair share of refugees and this is the only way we will truly help those who need it. While the new aid the the government is doing is good it could be doing much more and shouldn't be turning back the boats as that just leads to other nations being swamped by this crisis. It is only fair that Transvaal play its part on Mundus and truly open itself to these people because without our help we could be seeing more of the shocking images of children drowning on the shores of nations." |

Earlier today President William Van Brugge replied to the Secretary-General of Rokkenjima. Who said that Transvaals response to the current refugee crisis was when asked about this, he replied. "Unfortunately for the Secretary-General of Rokkenjima they hasn't got their facts right, the record has shown that Transvaals policy of boat turn backs is working and I will continue to stand by this policy. To be honest I'm surprised Rokkenjima hasn't invaded the nations that these refugees are coming from. Because it seems that what we are seeing is another attempt by Rokkenjima to enforce their will upon this great nation. I know this simply because no other nation other than Lakhzovia has even discussed our policy, even then we were able to negotiate a deal with that nation. Unfortunately it seems that Rokkenjima can't keep itself from jumping the gun on these issues and always fires the first shots. So Secretary-General Ofdensen should go back to the drawing board before taking their next flimsy swing and come back when they are prepared to actually say something that doesn't just clog the airways of vital conversation, on a crisis that requires every nation pull their weight and I think it is clear that we the Transvaal government are pulling our own weight. This is evident by our negotiation with the Lakhzovia government. On the deal with the Lakhzovia government it is clear that the nation of Lakhzovia is governed by a group of individuals with a level of competence that is a proper demonstration that any government should look to. Earlier today the Senate passed a law that would allow for any persons that follow the Church of the Prophet to gain Transvaal citizenship and come and visit and live in Transvaal. This law has been praised by Pope Frederick II who said that by passing this law it will allow for people to once again connect with the Church and with that people will become better followers and better people overall. The law comes as we are only 6 days away from Freedom Day which is the holy day where Pastor John lead the first followers of the faith out of the nation of Sverige and across the sea to found the city of Pretoria. While it is expected that not many people will be moving it is however expected to have a small boost to the economy as more people will be making trips and visits to Transvaal. The law was passed unanimously by both the House and the Senate. Marking one of the very few occasions where this has happened. The main law will apply to the nation of Sverige where 55% of the population are followers of their own sect of the Church of the Prophet but are widely regarded as being almost the same as the Church here in Transvaal. Emperor Constantine has also applauded the unanimous passing of the law saying. "When we see laws like these being passed without interference by any party, as a sign that these key elements of what makes our nation great it is seen as one where we can all come together and recognize that we are all equal in the eyes of the prophet and god." Opinion polls show that the law is popular with 85% saying that it was a good idea, 10% saying it was not a good law and 5% saying that it didn't matter. However when asked if the law was important 78% said that it wasn't important with 11% saying it was important, and 11% saying they were indifferent to the law. With all this so soon the Freedom Day one must be asking has the government got caught up in religious zealotry? |

Earlier today Minister for Defense and the Interior Nixon. Announced that the floating fortress 'Behemoth' would be going on a trip around the world, "this trip will be aimed at testing the limits of the floating fortress. Only after this trip is completed can we effectively asses where and when the right time would be to deploy and use these bases, as we need to know what combat scenario that they could be used in. During the trip there will be a number of fake crisis that will help get the people stationed on board ready to be active at any time. One of these said crisis will be the simulation of any attempted take over where the troops will be trained on how to deal with the situation. This is the route that the base will take in the coming months, we expect that the trip will take somewhere between seven months to one year. The trip will begin within the week. The base will also stop off in Sverige to refuel and from there the base will then return to Transvaal." Minister Nixon stated.  .

Today is October 16th and is one of the most important days in both the Transvaal Calender and the Churches Calender. On this day over two millennium ago around the year 5 B.C. Pastor John the founder of Transvaal lead the his followers out of the land and area now known as Sverige. The Journey he took is one of peril and hardship that ultimately shaped and gave him the knowledge that allowed him to found our nation of Transvaal. As custom all churches, government buildings and other important buildings have either stationed a man outside holding a Torch to symbolize how Pastor John lead his followers through their dark times to ultimately where we are now. At the end of the day you can tune into TNN to witness the fireworks that symbolize that the day is over and that the Journey is over. Earlier today the Emperor and the President called an emergency session of both the House of Reps and the Senate to pass a law proclaiming that from now on Freedom Day shall be a public holiday. From here the emperor then went and spent the day in the children's hospital to the delight of the whole ward. President Van Brugge however has spent the rest of the day visiting public spaces and generally mingling with the public. A security official said to TNN that. "When the President does these types of events he makes it hard on us I'll be honest, while we do manage to keep it under control we have to sometimes use a bit of force to make sure the President stays safe.
