Well...I do this. :P

I'm a gamer, video games and tabletop stuff mostly. I read plenty of books as well with my free time. In the past, I was involved in things like camping, fencing, tae-kwon-do, but I haven't done anything like that for some few years now for lack of time. I have tried my hand at playing guitar, but I don't have the aptitude or it, or any instrument for that matter.

Well, I've got quite a few hobbies, most of which I'm not nearly as dedicated to as I'd like.
I read a fair bit, recently I've been reading more web serials. If anyone's interested, I'd recommend checking out Worm, a completed web serial and arguabely one of the best things I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I browse the internet (specifically Reddit, IO and news sites), watch movies/tv (I'm sure I'm not the only one on this board who enjoys House of Cards) and socialise. I also play a lot of videogames, chiefly Civilization V. Obviously those are hobbies most people partake in, I do have others though.
Similar (at least I presume) to many on you I write a fair bit as well; currently I'm working on a joint novel with a friend. If anyone's interested I'd gladly talk about that more. I'm involved in community service both in and out of school. Like Thom, I'm involved in multiple committees in school, including the Gallipoli Centenary Committee; a group created to assemble information about all past students of our school who perished in WII and compile it into a magazine for the centenary and SRB; the student representative body.
I take lessons in Speech and Communication and this year I'll be testing for my letters (a form of qualification). I also take vocal lessons and recently made the finals for this year's vocal awards; although I'm not quite sure how that happened. I'm in one of our school's many choirs and will be auditioning for higher ranked ones when I can. Each year I'm usually part of the school's dramatic production, the next being 1984 I think. I also debate with school to a high level, maybe 4th in the grade (I'd say Thom is second).
Sportswise I wouldn't say I play many sports. I certainly 'participate' though, namely in Soccer and Rugby. In the past I've done rowing but due to the ridiculous work load this year I'm only going to be semi-involved. Often I find the most fulfilling and worthwhile exercise is just going for a run in the morning. I also recently started Taekwondo, although I'm not very good and I am doing it mainly for a component of my Duke of Edinburgh award.
To finish of this un-godly, too-detailed, boring-you-out-of-your-minds list, when the opportunity arises I enjoy paintballing, going to the beach, visiting theme parks and going to the cinema.
That's about it.

Oh, and if anyone's interested, my steam username is: James_Ed, which I've also requested my board name to be changed to as Seamus won't make that much sense for very long and any replacement would be likely just as short-lived *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Well I am interested in quite a few things.

One of my main interests is gaming, mostly strategy (Civilization V, Russia stronk, better then james), but also like shooters (Destiny and Call of Duty) and adventure games. I am an absolute history fanatic, mostly Modern history focused on the Soviet Union, tend not to read before 1850's, although i do love eastern European and Middle Eastern history in any time period. I am interested in international diplomacy, chiefly Russian, as Australian diplomacy is... mostly US or European diplomacy. I like military hardware, and often get in arguments with my friends about how a tank is a far superior to a car. Politics has always interested me, though i am worried if i go into the field, my family history shows i will likely be shot if i enter the political field. I love reading, and working in a bookstore is heaven for me. I like playing soccer (despite being not great at it), used to row but wasn't good/ungodly workload, learnt how to play guitar for 2 years then forgot over the next 3, and am great at short distance running.

I'm Back
My main pastime is gaming, particular favourites being RTS and Turn Based Strategy (Civ V etc.). I do debating , as James mentioned, and as such have to keep up an awareness of global politics and issues, which I have an interest in regardless. I also really enjoy history, both modern and ancient, my second favourite subject area being Physics. I do rowing (I intended to quit because of the workload, but find myself doing it again this year, albeit under duress), as well as football, and formerly cricket. Cricket is still my favourite sport to watch and support. I used to play Piano, and got to AMEB Grade 5 (not sure if that means anything overseas) and still play Clarinet at AMEB Grade 6 level.

My main hobby is gaming (mostly console and tabletop), but I do enjoy browsing the web and reading as well. My favorite games would probably have to be RPG's and I mostly read Fantasy novels.
