Chairman Zachariev addressed the world today- "It is with a great sadness that i hear of the fall of the USR, and although i am still deciding if Zachachevania should recognize the new "Slavic Federation", one thing is unbelievably obvious; It is not the same government which created the WARSAW pact. They are not the same government. They do not possess the authority to disband that alliance. Which is why we will be assuming full leadership of the pact, and seeking new nations to join the pact. Any nation which wishes to join the WARSAW pact will be welcomed as an ally of Zachachevania, this includes the New Slavic Federation should they wish to join. We hope this will not bring tragedy to our alliance, but a new era, and we hope the new Slavic Federation will be friendly to us and our allies. |

He then proceeded to make another statement- "As for these accusations of Zachachevania aiding in the assassination of president Arcan; firstly, the decision to send that sniper rifle to the terrorists responsible was not made by me, but by a small group of careless, and naive officials, however, even they did not know what they were doing, they did not intend to aid this terrorist organization. The sanctions many nations have levied against Zachachevania are unfair and unjust, as they are unjustly punishing both the Zachachevanian people, and the rest of the Zachachevanian government which was not responsible. We will be sending those officials responsible to the Meche to be punished as the Mechean government wishes, but we ask the international community not to blame all of Zachachevania for the carelessness of a few officials. Any sanctions levied against Zachachevania will be met equally with identical nations against the aggressor. |

Yesterday an explosive device detonated onboard the Zachachevanian aircraft carrier Rosocor 31 seamen were killed, and many more were injured. The ship was badly damaged, although not sunk, and several of the aircraft onboard were also damaged. It is believed it was planted there by the Imperialist powers currently blockading our glorious nation. Our dear leader Zachariev Rosocor is carefully considering military retaliation. Praise our Dear Leader! Last night, our leader Chairman Zachariev Rosocor personally lead an attack on the blockade on our shores! Aboard the Liberation, he lead hundreds of ships and made the sky go black with aircraft! Great explosions lit up the night as the enemy ships sank beneath the waves. After retreating several hundred miles off our coast, the cowardly enemy begged for mercy! They vowed never again to assault our great nation, and each in turn threw their uniform folded at our chairmans feet. The blockade is lifted, but although peace has been declared or cowardly imperialist enemies still threaten us with word of war! With the people behind him, our great leader will one day lead us all to victory, and bring utopia to all the suffering people of the world! In other news, there were 204 executions yesterday, here's a few uncensored!... OOC- this is all BS, Zachachevania is pretending like there weren't negotiations and that there was some great battle. Really they floated some boats out of view of the harbor at night and fired firework like bombs into the air, while flying a few planes overheard. |

Attention Citizens of Zachachevania! The broadcast you saw yesterday was a lie! Our station was hacked by Rokkenjiman terrorists, in an attempt to spread their horrible propaganda to our great nation! But stand fast! In other news, Ndambia has been making aggressive threats against our nation, and have declared their intention to attack as soon as they see fit. We will be setting up a no pass zone on our Ndambiam border, any non-militaru personnel seen within that area will be shot on sight. This zone is doubled at size after dark. We will also be dispatching an additional 20,000 troops to our Ndambian border, to protect us against their warmongering hordes. Yesterday, according to a new government census, the average income of a Zachachevanian citizen has increased 10% over the last month. This proves once more, that Communism, and equality, are indeed the greatest paths to prosperity. Traitors Executed! Three days ago, our patriotic forces on the Ndambian border, stationed there due to threat of invasion, caught a group of 523 traitors, hoping to leave our great nation for Ndambia. Some of them possessed weapons, and called themselves the resistance. We believe this to be a Rokkenjiman funded movement made for the sole purpose of killing off the Zachachevanian race from within. This was clearly proven by the fact that this "resistance" was leading our citizens towards Ndambia, where it is common knowledge they have death camps used for the sole purpose of exterminating Zachachevanians. These traitors are to be interrogated, and then publicly have their legs cut off, and then shot. This is what happens to all those unpatriotic pigs who attempt to leave the greatest nation in the world. Should you hear anything about this resistance, immediately report it to an authority. In other news, our dear leader Zachariev Rosocor has condemned the recent claiming of international waters by Rokkenjima as imperialist nationalism. New Regulations and Decrees in Response to Blockade: Once again, Rokkenjima has elected, along with its fascist and false communist CSTO puppets, to mobilize a fleet to the Ardian gulf, and begin broadcasting propaganda into the minds of pure Zachachevanians. This will not be tolerated, and our dear leader is currently considering a military response, but due to the possible lack of Zachachevanian life he is hesitant. He truly values the life of a descent human life. However, he has set forth several new decisive decrees to deal with this ugly faced threat. The following is the will of the working man: Those few thousand people of Rokkenjiman heritage living in Zachachevania shall be immediately detained, as it is likely they are Rokkenjiman agents. 50 of them shall be executed by firing squad every day until the blockade is lifted. These shall be broadcast across the world as examples of what happens to traitors and fascists. Any suspicious behavior will immediately result in detention, and possible execution A curfew is being enforced, no lights may be on, and none may be outside between 9:30 PM and 5:00 AM Officers of the law will be conducting random searches of homes to find any signs possible of terrorism or intent to betray our nation. Our nations entire navy and air-force are being mobilized so as to break the blockade upon order Should a deal not be reached within a week, 1,500 criminals, regardless of their offences will be executed. 300,000 Active Duty troops, and 1.5 million reserve troops are being mobilized to our Ndambian border. We are enacting strict rationing of food, as well as power. An additional 3% income tax is being levied on every citizen. A new patriotic donation is required, of twice the value. Quotas are being raised for all workers All sentences for all crimes shall be marginally harsher. Shortwave radios are now contraband. All must be turned over to the government immediately, they will be returned after this crisis is abated. The killing of any Rokkenjiman citizen shall be immediately rewarded with $1,500 many of these decrees shall be repealed upon the removal of the blockade, may the Rokkenjimans and the rest of the CSTO see reason, or be destroyed. We will meet the Rokkenjiman in a fishing boat in our harbor to discuss the lifting of the blockade, should they accept they may bring up to 5 diplomats, and 5 guards. We will bring the same. OOC- OK, so there isn't a blockade, should probably read closer. We will be taking most of the same measures, however, they are meant to continue until the Rokkenjiman fleet is de-mobilized (out of the Ardian Gulf) and Operation Carrier Pigeon ceases. Due to rising tensions and in the lands of our Rokkenjiman puppet of a neighbor Nuevo Ardia, and as well as to respond to any attempted naval landing by CSTO forces, all reserve troopers are being called up for active duty. As per usual they shall be equipped wit an assault rifle, a helmet, a Kevlar vest, a pistol, a bayonet, a knife, and 8 grenades. They will be fed, but most likely not paid. We are stationing 300,000 active-duty regulars in Zacheval, along with 1.2 million reserve troopers. There will be another 20,000 active duty soldiers in Zava, 150,000 active regulars in Zalorum, and 150,00 in Rosocor. We wil lalso be stationing another 50,000 regulars on our border with Ndambia in response to the Rokkenjiman mobilization there, and another 400,000 reserves. Grand Plan to Send Aid to Form the New Andean People's Republic Following our glorious victory a few weeks ago in Nueva Ardia, the Chairman has signed an order, allowing the land to be governed by an Independent government, who are to be lead by a Politburo of the Communist rebels who we were aiding in that brief war. Zachachevania will be keeping its non-reserve soldiers stationed in the area in case the CSTO and the Ardians decide to breach the Armistice. We will also be dispatching a team of diplomats and advisers to aid in drafting the new constitution, however it is clear it will be a single party communist state. Once this is completed, the diplomats will remain in an effort to establish a stronger bond between the new small nation and our own, convince them to join the WARSAW pact, and perhaps forge some sort of trade and military agreement. Our generous nation will also be sending 30 billion dollars and 4,000 workers to the new nation, to aid in the rebuilding effort and the building of the new nations industry and military. Let us hope both of our nations grow stronger out of this glourious turn of events, and eventually together we will bring equality to all man kind. |

Yesterday, the Chairman Zachariev suffered a severe heat attack, he is currently in his bed unconscious, with his wife Jennesta, and his son Fredri at his side always. Hopefully, he will recover fully. In almost as terrible news, Rosocor's daughter, who previously was believed by certain medical staff who attended the Rosocor family to be mentally unstable, seems to have gone completely insane upon hearing the news of her father's heart attack. She ran from her room, shooting each of her guards in the knee, to disable them, and then in the head, proving she is a merciless killer. It is believed she then fled west, towards the Hammer district. Any news of her must be immediately reported to party officials. Because our dear leader is currently incapable of leading our great nation, and temporary Politburo has been formed. It is headed by Jinin Tzi Fetu, one of the most faithful, and wisest of party members, and the other members are Fredri Rosocor, Zachariev's beloved and brave son, Helen Urhun, previously head of press, Hushib Li, a brilliant mind, Hushib is responsible for many of the nation's most successful economic sucesses. Tirib Hu, a beloved and charismatic general of the people, devoted to equality, Shih Tung Bo, previously a member of the central committee, he has only the people in mind, and Ji Hungba, this glorious woman was also a member of the central committee, who has organised many patriotic demonstrations, and is a skilled diplomat. Exactly one hour ago, Our great leader's wife, Jennesta Rosocor killed herself. This was because, one hour before that, our glorious, divine, fair, strong, infinitely wise, ingenious, and wonderful leader succumbed to an "aftershock" heart attack. He will be made immortal in the annals of history, as a great leader, who overthrew a tyrannical and insane monarch, established thriving industry, complete self sufficiency, and brought equality in Zachachevania and the New Andean. In a monumental string of decisions today, the Politburo of Zachachevania has legalized private industry, in a bid to strengthen the nations economy. Also, the government is now putting about 1/2 of land in Zachachevania, and all residential buildings, up for sale to private ownership. The party will also be selling 500 billion dollars worth of bonds, the funds from which will be funneled into helping the new private industry thrive. All sales taxes currently in place are being repealed, besides a remaining 5% Imported goods tax, and a 5% tax on goods being distributed by foreign companies, to promote self sufficiency within Zachachevania. The government has also given grants of 50 billion dollars to each of the following newly formed companies in exchange for 25% shares. The other 75% of shares are for sale to the public in every nation of the world, however, citizens of one nation may never buy more than 10% of shares directly from the company or the Zachachevanian government. The companies are: Zachachevanian People's Telecommunications Zachachevanian Mining Corporation Zachachevanian People's Bank The Peoples Agricultural Company of Zachachevania The People's Report (no foreign investors will be sold shares of the people's report) Zachachevanian Sustainable Energy Corporation The People's Petroleum and Uranium Corporation Zachachevanian Arms Company Zachachevanian Pharmaceuticals Zachachevanian Computers and Software The People's Guard- Private Military Corporation Zachachevanian Construction Corporation The People's Retail Corporation Zachachevanian Lumber Company Equal Insurance of Zachachevania Universities of Zachachevania Zachachevanian Rail and Road Zachachevanian Tourism and Travel Income taxes have also been lowered from 80% to 40%. Private law firms are illegal, and those previously imprisoned for being unemployed have all been released, but you can still be imprisoned for being unemployed without an excuse for longer than a year. Following the new legislation passed by the Politburo last week, the people have rushed to begin buying stocks in the new state owned companies, as well as to buy land and property from the government. Thousands of small businesses have been formed in such a small period of time, most with enormous amounts of aid from the governments new business start-up campaign, and tax cuts. two days after the announcement of the new legislation, the Communist Party mailed a check of $10,000 people's credits (OOC- $1,000) to every citizen of the nation. Following this new influx of cash, millions rushed to the markets, of many different kinds. Many citizens chose to buy stocks in companies they trusted. However, the People's Report would like to warn the public, although in general buying shares in new corporations in our nation will most likely be in your favor, it is quite possible to invest unwisely and be ruined. As a solution the network would recommend the newly formed partially state owned company: Proletariat Stock Brokerage. In other news, Nueva Ardia has banished all oil processing, farming, food distributing, and mining companies from the nation. The Communist Party of Zachachevania has extended a formal invitation to all of these companies to buy land and start anew in the quickly growing economy of Zachachevania. In an exclusive interview with one of our anchors, Guri Hikio, Jinin Tzi Fetu said he was considering sending an invitation of diplomacy to some of the nations our old Chairman Zachariev "had some disagreements with". He said, quote, "As our parties eternal chairman aged he became increasingly short tempered and harsh. Some of his behavior widened the divide between Zachachevania and the international community. Since the Economic Revolution of one month ago, millions of small businesses, owned by the common man, have been formed leading to a thriving domestic economy, stimulated by the buying of enormous amounts of shares in these companies by the Proletariat, and by subsidies set up by the Communist Party. The partially state owned corporations have been doing especially well, such as the Zachachevanian Sustainable Energy Corporation, whose stock value has shot upwards, with ordinary citizens owning about 50% of the companies shares. However, the outside world continues to ignore the quickly growing Zachachevania market. In time however, we here at The People's Report are confident that outsiders will be drawn to the Zachachevanian market by the promise of great wealth eventually, and that Zachachevania's economy, and people, will continue to thrive. Three hours ago, the Politburo passed a law enabling individual province governors to legalize, if they choose, the civilian carrying of non-automatic firearms. Following the announcement, the Zachachevanian Arms Corporation announced it was working on a new civilian brand of hunting rifle, and would be selling semi-automatic military grade handguns on an open market. It is believed their stock values will soar within the next few days. |

The Zachachevanian government has ordered the assembly of 1,000 M1 Protector Tanks from the Zachachevanian Arms Company, in exchange for 5 billion dollars. Jinin Tzi Fetu has announced that the Zachachevanian government will be halting the recruitment of new Red Guard troops, calling it a human rights violation. He has not made any statement regarding the Red Guards currently in training. In other news, in what the government is calling "further efforts to promote equality" the Communist Party has announced the implementation of a flat 20% inheritance tax, however it does not apply to members of the Communist Party. Two hours ago the Zachachevanian Arms Company announced a new line of assault rifles, the AK-Serpant. The Zachachevanian government apparently already knew about this project, announcing it has already ordered 500,000 units. |

Now It's Time for Our New Segment; SUCCESS STORIES OF THE ECONOMIC REVOLUTION The Communist Party of Zachachevania has agreed to buy 2% of every one of these businesses, to reward them for their entrepreneurship, and for stimulating our quickly growing economy, and to further allow the general populous to prosper off their success. Fist up, we have Coco-Coola, This private company was formed originally by two boys, Ju Haobe, and Lee Mae. They had set up a stand in their home village, a small coastal fishing town called Loahoabi. They sold coconut milk, with a bit of cocaine added in. They called this drink Coco-Coca, and it was a hit among the young people of the village immediately. However, the boys were later arrested, and found guilty of tax evasion, and selling cocaine. They had not been paying income tax on their unregistered business, and, obviously, had been selling cocaine in their drinks. A young investor, who's father had been a colonel in the Zachachevanian army, and a member of the communist party, decided they had a very good idea. He bailed the boys out, what he considered fair in exchange for him taking over their business, and founded the new company Coco-Coola. He put the drink in a snazzy looking can, added a bit of sugar, and replaced the cocaine with caffeine. Within one year it was a hit, and now, today, more than 1 billion cans have been sold, in just two years! Second, we have Nivida Electronics, This company began very shortly after the economic revolution, when a young girl, Karen Guadong, decided to buy an old computer from a retired member of the Communist Party, Julo Juli. She began to tamper with this computer in her father's apartment, and soon had fixed it up, and had it running as fast as any modern computer. She became fascinated with computers, and within a year she had written her own coding language, and sold the rights to the language to a man named Kij Mong Nu, for $100,000,000 People's Credits! She used this money to employ several other young computer scientists, and just 6 months ago, they had built a new Internet Router which they called the Horizon Router, which was 50% faster than the majority of routers used around the world. Their company is currently worth 5 billion dollars, and Zachachevanian Computers and Software has been buying up as many shares of their company as possible, currently owning about 10% of it. They announced they are currently working on a new video gaming console they call Project Morpheus, a virtual reality headset. As it was announced yesterday that Zachachevania would be facing off against Nueva Ardia in the first round of the Women World Cup. Thousands of young Zachachevanians have taken to the streets waving Zachachevanian flags and chanting "We Will Win! We Will Win!" The Women's team seems confident in their skill, the captain saying "We will destroy those pigs on the field! we are ready, just like our military."

 Zachachevanians all across the nation went wild with excitement, after our crushing victory on the Football Field against Nueva Ardia's team, crushing them 6-1! One man we interviewed who attended the game, appeared to be enjoying it less than most, stating "It got kind of boring towards the end, there was just no way they could win." BREAKING NEWS: The Government has just suddenly announced the implementation of what they are calling the "Equality Tax Code". In what seems contradictory to many of Jinin Tzi Fetu's earlier legislative actions, this Tax code includes adjusted income tax rates to tax the rich higher, and the poor lower, saying "We need to continue to uphold the goals of equality our party is based on". It also includes a 20% Inheritance tax, that does not affect those who are in the least wealthy 25% of the populous. It also includes a 1% corporate tax, and a capital gains tax equal to 1/2 of however much that particular individual would be taxed in their income tax brackets, i.e. 20% on the top 5% of wealthiest citizens. Also included in this bill, are new laws protecting some (small) portions of the Zachachevanian Rainforest for the purposes of "stimulating our growing tourism industry, and to preserve the natural environment of the area for the good of the entire planet. Province Governors are now allowed to implement up to a 20% income tax on it's residents, and local governments may implement up to another 10%. It also provides a minimum maternity leave of one month, and bans pregnant women from working in certain hazardous conditions." BREAKING NEWS: DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS MAY BE ESTABLISHED IN ZACHACHEVANIA, NEW CONSTITUTION DRAFTED Jinin Tzi Fetu made an earth shaking statement today, announcing in an address to the nation "Personally, I think my predecessor was a great man, but he was so fixed on ensuring the Communist party, and what it stands for, was successful, that he set the Communist Party above the average citizen. I believe for everyone to be equal we cannot have a one party state, we need an open democracy with patriotic citizens having equal say in government, although the ideal of Communism still must have power. A revolutionary deal has been signed, officially ending the war in Nueva Ardia! The leaders of both nations agreed a referendum is to be held in the New Andean Republic's territory, with three options; Join Nueva Ardia, Remain Independent, or Join Zachachevania. We are confident that the citizens of the region will vote to either join our nation and share in it's success, or become independent. This deal was secured through our president's sheer diplomatic skill, and is a good sign that although he has come to power recently, he will be a strong and wise leader. Also, Rokkenjiman Empress Beatrice has been made to look the fool, with her ultimatum going completely ignored, and with the ADC, which she previously denounced as "a sham" being a huge success. More importantly however, the ADC has put the region at peace, and humanity is better for it. Last night, the Zachachevanian Women's football team lost to Achkaerin, 1-2, coming in 2nd place for the world cup. Millions of Zachachevanians were enraged by this loss, but hope still remains for next year. After all, this year, the Zachachevanian team, which has previously gone unnoticed by the world, has proven it's skill. It will be a strong competitor for the next Women's World cup. The 20 New X-47 Stealth Drones, and the 1,000 M1 Protector Tanks, have been completed, and have been sold to the Zachachevanian Military. The Military has now announced a 5 billion dollar military satellite project, saying they are quote "constructing a satellite capable of providing detailed tactical and reconnaissance information, and another that will be a highly functional, and highly effective missile warning system." They will be named Eagle and Canary respectively. |

Continuing Zachachevania's defense focused military modernization project, the government announced about half an hour ago they would be ordering the production of 100,000 Igla MANPADS, as well as 100 Panstir mobile surface to air defense systems, and 500 SOM cruise missiles. Alert Alert Alert BREAKING NEWS! A gleeful reporter, outside the Communist Party Headquarters speaks We are now living in the Democratic People's Republic of Zachachevania! Just minutes ago, our new constitution was passed, and implemented. It officially establishes Zachachevania as a republic, and establishes several basic human rights for Zachachevanian citizens. This clearly demonstrates the head of the Politburo Jinin Tzi Fetu has the well being and freedom of every Zachachevanian citizen in mind. It may also reflect positively on Zachachevania's tarnished international image. The Pop band Imagine Demons has broken a Zachachevanian record, selling nearly 10 million copies of their new album Human Illusion off the internet within a month! They have been especially popular among teenagers. Their new album includes several songs, including; Radioactive, Tiptoe, it's Time, Demons, On Top of the World, Amsterdam, Hear Me, Every Night, Bleeding Out, Underdog, Nothing Left to Say, and Rocks. The most popular being Demons, which our current head of state Jinin Fetu says is also his favorite, followed by Radioactive. They will be touring Zachachevania performing these songs, and many of their concerts have already sold out. Continuing our coverage pf the campaign season, we are proud to announce that The People's Report will be hosting a Presidential debate! All Candidates with 5% or more in the polls will be able to participate in the debate. As of now, here are the standings of the candidates according to our latest polls, these are the positions of the current candidates: In the lead, we have Mr. Fetu, still going strong with 71% supporting him, his not-so-close runner up is Yugimotoro with the Communist-Nationalists, calling for the expulsion of those who aren't ethnically Zachachevanian, with 14%, Futwara with 9%, Gyarik with 4% in the Free Market Coalition, and the radical 1% for Yufohk taking up the rear.
