Music Earliest Dyfedian music revolved around string instruments, both bowed and played by hand. Some harps and primitive guitar variants are among the earliest musical instruments played in Dyfedia. As these instuments developed into more modern instruments, they remained popular, with acoustic and orchestral music dominating the musical landscape. Dyfedia has an extremely rich history of classical and orchestral music. Traditional hymms, often associated with religion, are firmly rooted within the culture and frequently sung at formal and traditional gatherings. Orchestral pieces, including varying suites, concertos and soundtracks are widely recognized and appreciated. In addition to both modern and historical orchestral pieces, modern pop music culture has taken a foot in Dyfedia since the 1960s, with a number of ensembles gaining popularity at home and overseas. The Thomradian regime saw the creation of numerous 'manufatured' bands, in an attempt to extend cultural influence. Religious/Patriotic Music and Hymns Pop Groups (1950-2000) Modern Pop Groups

Dance Cannwyll Dawns (Candle Dance) History The Cannwyll Dawns is a Dyfedian folk which grew popular during the 18th centuries, despite its origins dating long before that. Traditionally performed by wives of fishermen, the candles are said to guide their husbands into port safely. Dychryn History The Dychryn is a highly aggressive war dance, with very rhythmic, vigorous and aggressive movements. The dance was traditionally performed before heading to battle, to psyche up warriors and intimidate the enemy, but it was also performed on special occasions, welcoming guests and dignitaries, or acknowledging special occasions. |

Literature The earliest written evidence of DyFedian Gaelic dates as far back as the 4th Century, in a vastly different form. Traditionally written through symbols, the language was adapted to the English alphabet during the 19th Century. Fables told by word of mouth have long been a part of Dyfedian culture, as as the writing system evovled creativity saw publication of numerous works. In modern times, grand fantasy is by far the most popular genre. Many believe this is because it connects people to the golden ages of Dyfedia. Notable Dyfedian authors and their works. J.R.R.
