So I was wondering if any of you had come up with any personifications for your nations. I've come up with one, basing it on a Serbian poem.

IC Description

The Maiden of Blackbird Field is the central figure of a Tytorian poem of the same name, written in Old Tytoric and believed to be based on true events. In it, a young woman searches a battlefield for her betrothed husband following the Battle of Blackbird Field, which was fought in 1578 between the Principalities of Tsargrad and Highmark. Before the battle, he had given her a golden ring as a promise of his safe return. As she searches, she helps wounded soldiers with water and bread, regardless of which side they fought on. She finally finds a wounded and dying warrior who tells her that her fiancé is dead. The warrior points in the direction of their bodies. The poem finishes with the following lines:

"O wretch! Evil is your fortune!
If I, a wretch, were to grasp a green pine,
Even the green pine would wither."

Since its writing, the poem has become greatly popular as a symbol of compassion and charity, and the Maiden is now seen by many as a personification of the city of Tsargrad.
If any of you have one you'd like to share, please, go ahead.
