 The Supreme News Network Diplomatic Visit to East Moreland: Yesterday the Supreme Commandant departed to the Nation of East Moreland to discuss the possibilities of some sort of Technological Alliance between our Nations which may allow Supreme Sovreignty to advance fully into the modern era. The Commandant is expected to return sometime before the end of the week and when he does, he plans on announcing what sort of deal was made. This is part of the Commandants current plan to build relations with the other nations of our region.  First Test of the RPLS: Speaking of Technological advances, today the Sovereigntyian Space Agency completed it's first successful test of systems on the Rocket Propelled Launch System, otherwise known as the RPLS. The Rocket is set to carry the Orbiter Atmospheric Measurement Satellite into space sometime in the next few months which will announce our first steps into the great frontier known as space. The Supreme News Network Navy Vessel Completes Refit: The HMS Goliath departed the dry docks in Isen City yesterday after completing a 6 month total refit to advance many of the technologies aboard the vessel. The Goliath is now heading back to it's home port in Combton where it will stock up on supplies and bring all of it's planes, helicopters and crew back on board before departing on a 9 month tour in the Krimeon Sea.

The Supreme News Network Lord Minister Kaleb Thompson made an appearance yesterday on the Late Night Sovereign Show where he talked about certain rumors going on in the Empire. These included the talks about the Commandant's Mistresses, Lord Minister Savage's Child, and of course, everybody's favorite rumor, the relationship between Him and Vice Commandant Evelyn Wesley. On the topic of the Mistresses, This is what the minister had to say: "The Commandant has been my best friend since high school and I have always known him as a bit of an "active" person but since the passing of our great Empress Jasmine he has been quite content being alone. Maybe at some point he will get back in the game but for now he is quite single and has no mistresses." On the topic of Lord Minister Savage's child, He had this to say: "James and his wife Sarah have indeed been blessed with a pregnancy. Now it's too early to say but they are pretty sure it's a boy which they plan on naming James Michael Savage the 3rd in keeping with tradition."  And finally on the topic of the relationship: "While me and Eve have been trying to keep it quiet it seems nothing can stay that way in New Reach. It is true the me and the Vice Commandant are in a relationship. We have been for a year now. See the age difference between us has made us try to keep it a secret but we would like you to know that we love each other very much and are planning on strengthening the relationship further in the near future." The photos below were taken at last month's SovereignCon during a rare moment when the two lovers were caught flirting with each other from across the Convention floor. The Supreme News Network Supreme Sovereignty to Adopt Rokkenjiman Ducat as Official Currency: Lord Minister of Economics Exodus Daro announced in a press release earlier today that Supreme Sovereignty has began the process of Transitioning to using the Rokkenjiman Ducat as the Nation's official Currency. "As we begin to grow in the region and create more agreements and alliances with other Nation's we have found that the Sovereign was just to weak and unstable to support us, that is why after the recent agreement with Takeda, the Council of Ten, with help from the Rokkenjiman Government, has sat down and rewrote our monetary and economic law to resemble the one's of Rokkenjima. The system has proved itself for years in other places and we feel it can help us a lot too. We expect that this move will improve the Sovereigntyian economic and financial situations, while at the same time seeing increased stability economically as well." The Lord Minister said today at the press release. Many citizens are outraged for the transition while many praise it as a way to make our Nation more powerful. In truth, only time will tell. The Supreme News Network RPLS Launch Date Set: Earlier this morning Lord Minister Tyler announced that the Supreme Space Agency has set a launch date for the RPLS. The RPLS was in the news earlier this month for passing multiple systems tests. After a few modifications to the systems and one replacement the tests were ran again and it was decided that the system was ready for launch. The RPLS was moved to the launch platform earlier this week and has been set to launch December 26th, the day after Christmas. The Supreme News Network  RPLS Launch Successful: Today the Supreme Space Agency successfully completed the first launch of the RPLS, officially starting Supreme Sovereignty's first steps into outer space. A mission spokesperson from the Agency said that "the mission went off without a hitch and successfully set the Orbiter Atmospheric Measurement Satellite into orbit around Mundus." The Agency also announced their next project, one that also involves the RPLS, a launch of a space telescope to help discover the secrets of space. Many from the Agency are saying that this telescope is coming to early, as we would have no personnel there to make sure everything is working properly or to make repairs but they are willing to see how it goes. The Supreme News Network Lord Minister Expected to Make a Full Recovery: Earlier this morning, A spokesperson at the New Reach Memorial Hospital announced that the operation on Lord Minister Thompson to repair his punctured lung was a Success and he is expected to make a full recovery. Lord Minister Thompson was shot when he threw himself in front of the Supreme Commandant during an assassination attempt at the Supreme Sovereightyian One Year Birthday Party Celebration. Spire Added to Imperial Tower: The Imperial Tower was completed earlier this week when the Tower's Spire was added after months of weather halting the construction. The Delays caused the Lord Minister's to decide to open the Tower earlier last year in June so that companies could use it to begin their Research and Development and conduct their business. Most were unaware that the tower was even incomplete until Workers were turned around on Monday after being told that the tower's construction was back underway. The Supreme News Network Lorn Minister Thompson out of Hospital: Earlier yesterday afternoon, Lord Minister of War Kaleb Thompson was seen leaving the New Reach Hospital a week after his successful surgery. While obviously still in pain, he did his best to cover it up and told reporters that he would be retreating to his private estate in the mountains north of New Reach for a few weeks of R&R to heal and get back into shape to take his position back over from Lord Minister of Defense James Savage.  In other News, Where is the Crown Prince in such a rush to?: Earlier this morning, a person on the street snapped this picture of Crown Prince Issac rushing through the airport towards his private terminal, his guards following close behind. Many are speculating as to where the Prince is going but after asking the control tower and learning his destination was Achkaerin, we here at Supreme News Network believe he is visiting a certain Crown Princess Serenity. The Supreme News Network Borland Assassin Identified: During the first birthday party for Supreme Sovereignty last month an unknown assassin attempted to kill one of the personnel standing on the stage. After nearly a month, a spokesperson for the Imperial Palace announced that they had discovered the target and the identity of the assassin. "The man known as John Snow was actually named Richard Snowden, a man the terrorist group known as Borland which is known for its attacks against other nations in the region, namely East Moreland. After a month of questioning we have determined that the target during the Assassination attempt was actually our own Supreme Commandant. He became the target for this plot after Supreme Sovereignty signed a treaty with East Moreland. When Borland learned if this treaty, the commandant became a prime target for the organization, with the birthday celebration happening only a week after the treaty was signed becoming the perfect location for the attempt." The spokesperson said earlier yesterday morning. With this news released, many are asking, What will the Commandant's response be to this news when he returns from the Mundus Pride Festival?" |

The Supreme News Network New Research Company may bring Supreme Sovereignty into the Big Leagues: Earlier today, the Supreme Commandant announced the start a new major research company. The company, known as Aperture Defense Industries, is being ran by a group of researchers that have immigrated to Supreme Sovereignty from Rokkenjima. The researchers are lead by a man named Cave Johnson, a man who's been described as very ambitious and does not "know the meaning of the word Limits." The company is going to primarily focus on military technology, mainly in the fields of defense and armor while also focusing on offensive capabilities. With the knowledge that this team brings with it, they might be able to advance our technology to be equal to nations such as Rokkenjima and Achkaerin. The company's headquarters was opened earlier today and consists of all of the underground labs under the Imperial Tower as well as numerous warehouses in cities such as Isen City.[/font [

The Supreme News Network Aperture announces first development project: Earlier today, not even 24 hours after the company's introduction, Aperture Defense Industries announced it's first project, a suit of body armor for Supreme Sovereignty's most elite fighting force, the SCs. This new armor would utilize the most advanced field Intel gathering equipment in the region. The armor it's self would be light and mobile, consisting mostly of high grade Kevlar with metal armor covering the most key parts of the body. The armor is in its beginning phase and a prototype is expected in early March. Below is a picture of the company's design of the new body armor, the armor being named Pathfinder Mk. 1.

The Supreme News Network Aperture reveals another major project: Today Aperture Defense Industries announced a new project from their line slated to have a prototype shown in early March at the same time as the Pathfinder 1 armor. This new project is being named the Mk. 1 Reaper, a main battle tank unlike anything we've ever seen before. The tank is massive but still mobile, using 4 treads instead of 2 for enhanced mobility. The tank will fire 90 mm shells and be plated with an experimental armor that has not yet been revealed.

The Supreme News Network  Car Bombing in Downtown New Reach: Earlier today a car bomb went off in a heavily traveled area of downtown New Reach. The bombing claimed 12 lives and injured 47. Many are in the New Reach International Hospital in critical condition and many aren't expected to make it. The bombing is being claimed by a group known as The Enlightenment of Sovereignty, a terrorist group that has just recently started showing it's fangs in our young nation. Many are worried what the group will......... Static filled the screen and was slowly replaced by an image of the leader of The Enlightenment.  "People of The Independent Order, you are being lied to. Don't be lured in by this nation's false government, pretending to work towards everybody's best interests. They are only out for themselves, oppressing our people and gaining more and more power, being lead by their false prophet the Supreme Commandant. I offer you a place at my side as we fight against this dictatorship and free our Nation so that we may live in peace and prosperity without fear of tyrants. This goes out to all nations of the Order. Cast off your oppressive regimes and free yourselves and we will live together in Enlightenment." The Supreme News Network Aperture begins field tests of Prototype: Today Aperture Defense Industries began primary field tests on the prototypes fire the Pathfinder project. They were joined by the members of SC team six who wore the armor prototypes and participated in numerous drills to test different aspects of the armor. While a few problems were discovered, the overall rating of the armor was high and the SC praised the armor, saying that they couldn't wait to wear it as their official uniform.  Aperture is expected to release a finished product mid to late March. |

The Supreme News Network  Supreme Commandant sits down for an Interview about latest Enlightenment Attack: After this week's deadly car bombing by the Enlightenment, the 5th so far in the last 3 weeks, Supreme Commandant Wesley agreed to sit down with us for an Interview so that he may address many of the nation's concerns. "Thank you for agreeing to this sir. Many across the nation are wondering what the government is planning to do after the most recent attack. Some are even supporting the Enlightenment because it seems the government is doing nothing to stop then." The interviewer said. "I'm glad to be here to address these concerns. I've heard about these protests supporting the Enlightenment and it deeply troubles me. See our nation started in war, it's hard for any of us to forget it, and that is exactly what the Enlightenment is trying to bring us back to. While it may not look like we are doing anything about them, I can assure you we are. But we are also trying to avoid turning to open warfare, which is exactly what the Enlightenment wants." Wesley replied. "I see. Another major concern of the people is the possibility of martial law. Is this a possibility?" The interviewer asked. "Martial law is a very difficult thing for us to implement and I can say that while it has been mentioned, we have decided to put of implementing it except for as a last resort." Wesley said. The commandant continued to answer many questions, being very honest in his statements. We all agree here that after this discussion, we are very comfortable with what the government is doing and fully support their decisions. |

Enlightenment News Today Latest Enlightenment Video has everybody worried: "Ladies and Gentlemen of Mundus... you were warned. I told you that if you did not break up the impure union of Isaac Wesley and Serenity Azurewind that the Enlightenment would take care of it ourselves, and as promised we have taken care of this abomination. And the best part is, we didn't even land the killing blow. We can thank our friends in the Achkaerin Air Force for their assistance in that matter." Footage from a drone started playing on every screen watching the news showing the black royal jet of Supreme Sovereignty being flanked by two fighters from Achkaerin. Within moments the jets fired two missiles into the royal aircraft causing it to start losing altitude. Moments later the 2 fighters entered a dog fight with Sovereigntyian fighters which were shot down. The footage froze on the two jets zoomed in on the small Achkaerin flag on each of them. "Don't ignore our warnings anymore Mundus or you will continue to regret it." The normal news anchor appeared on the screen. Many are terrified at what this footage could mean and if it is even real but one thing we have confirmed is that the Prince and Princess were last seen boarding the royal aircraft alone. Some across Supreme Sovereignty are even calling for the government to do something against Achkaerin for shooting down the royal aircraft but most just want to know that the Prince and Princess are safe. The Supreme News Network Government Releases Response to Enlightenment attack on the Royal Family: Earlier today we received an audio message from Vice Commandant Evelyn Wesley who is still in the nation of Achkaerin with her father following the CIS celebrations and the attack on the royal jet carrying Prince Issac and Princess Serenity. Enlightenment News Today Return of Enlightenment to spell trouble?: Since the rescue of Prince Isaac and Crown Princess Serenity, the Enlightenment has been silent and nowhere to be found. Many believed that they had been scared off by the rescue. However earlier today the Enlightenment released a new announcement that has everybody on the edge of their seats. Jerimiah Roberts appeared on the TV screens. "Mundus, do not be afraid, the Enlightenment is still here and always will be. Last time you saw us, we said to heed our warnings. Enlightenment News Today Enlightenment issue growing: Following the 6th straight bombing in as many days went off today in Isen City killing 43 and injuring hundreds, Supreme Commandant Wesley has called a meeting of the Council of Ten in the Imperial Palace to discuss what should be done. Recent events have proven the Enlightenment to be a serious danger after their raid on the Aperture testing site last week where they made off with dozens of prototype weapons and armor, and Evidence that has surfaced showing that the Enlightenment may have agents working in not only our own military but in militaries throughout Mundus, raising the question, why is the Enlightenment building up and army and is war right around the corner? |

The Supreme News Network New Reach to hold international Ball: Next week New Reach will be honored to hold the first annual New Reach International Ball. The ball is being held primarily for the Commandant to catch up with world leaders after his 2 month vacation but it is also being held to help form new relations with the nations of Mundus. Many Sovereigntyian celebrities have announced their plans to attend, however we have yet to hear anything on the world leaders planning to attend. The Supreme News Network  Royal Wedding on the Horizon:Earlier this morning we learned from the Royal Palace that a few days ago Crown Prince Issac Wesley had proposed to Crown Princess of Achkaerin Serenity Azurewind and she said yes! Now not many details are known yet but we do know that the wedding will be held in Achkaerin and rumors are spreading hinting that the Crown Prince may be planning on moving to Achkaerin for the time being. We'll make sure to keep you updated with anything new we hear. |

The Supreme News Network  Aperture Reveals New Launch Vehicle:Earlier this morning Aperture Defense Industries Space Division revealed the prototype of the newest Rocket Propelled Launch System now known as the Sovereign IV. This new launch vehicle is equipped with a much larger cargo system and even a crew module allowing personnel to accompany the cargo to it's designated orbit making sure nothing goes wrong in the process. Once preliminary test are complete and the vehicle is deemed space worthy, a launch date will be announced in which they plan on sending the first Sovereigntyian to space with also setting up the first of Aperture's new Cell Satellites, which will allow for much faster and clearer communication between Supreme Sovereignty and the rest of Mundus.

 People of Mundus, I am Alexandria Savage Me and the people of Enlightenment have decided that we can no longer tolerate the Atrocities that the people of the Supreme Sovereignty continue to commit. The city was lost, and when Sovereigntyian troops tried to retake the city, they were ambushed and no survivors have been found. The Supreme News Network War is Over! Enlightenment is no More!:Today the Enlightenment has finally fallen after a 4 day brutal battle at Border ended their Resolve. Most rumors we're hearing from the city say that they surrendered after hearing word of what transpired at Fort Seraph with their leader Alexandria Savage. Pockets of the Enlightenment still remain scattered throughout the nation, but Supreme Commandant Wesley states that these are not a threat and will be dealt with quickly. |

 BREAKING NEWS This just in, Supreme Commandant Wesley has been shot while giving his memorial speech at the Amphitheater of the Arts just moments ago. The shooter was taken down quickly by Supreme Commandos at the event, but unfortunately, the Commandant was announced dead at the scene by medics. The council has already been pulled back to the Imperial Palace, where, we are told, they are discussing current options. As of now, Vice Commandant Evelyn Wesley is acting regent of the nation until Prince Issac and Princess Serenity arrive from Achkaerin for the coronation, which we expect will be in the coming weeks after the funeral of our great Commandant Randy Wesley.  The Supreme News Network Aperture Announces Two New Projects: Earlier today, Aperture Science Industries held a press conference outlining a new plan for the future of the company, including looking abroad for new partners to expand the company's capabilities. During the end of the conference, CEO Cave Johnson announced the newest projects that will begin R&D within the next few weeks.  The Aperture CRH The first one is a new type of train. The CRH is going to work on a MAGLEV system and be able to drastically increase the speed of cross country travel around the nation. A test rail is currently being set up around the Aperture complex and in the future, once a prototype has been built and tested, an estimated top speed will be announced.  The Aperture Smart Bracelet The second is a brand new way to have your phone. The Smart Bracelet will have all of the capabilities and power of your average modern day smart phone, in a small portable bracelet that will contain a roll out screen that becomes stiff when fully extended. It will be Wi-fi capable and will charge by cord, but also come with a built in micro solar panel that will slowly charge the phone while outside. More details will be announced in the future. |

The Supreme News Network Politics  New Politician Causing a Stir: William Asher, The newest member of the Council of Ten's Ambassadorial Squad, has been causing a stir lately as his background was leaked over the internet by an anonymous source. The young man was revealed by the source to actually be Weston Ash, the youngest son of the leader of Haven of Sovereignty, Sin Incarnate. When asked to elaborate, this is what Mr. Asher had this to say:
Many in Revana are calling for this man to be put in chains or exiled from the nation, but many more support him and it does not seem that anything will happen. Personally we believe that young William is a shining example of how you should not judge a book by it's cover, and we look forward to seeing how his political career goes. Rumors lately have been that William is the most likely candidate to be posted as the Ambassador to the Network of Crowns, should it actually be formed. We asked Mr. Asher on his thoughts:
Well since he is one of the youngest members in Revana's politics, being only 20 years old, and he's technically Nobility, because of the circumstances of his birth, He could have a chance with the young Queen, be it a minute chance. The Supreme News Network  Aperture Director Lance Alan A look at the New Director of Aperture Science Laboratories: With the recent passing of former Director Cave Johnson, the R&D company responsible for most of the weaponry and technology used by the Revanan Military was met with the task of electing a new Director. After what was called a "Long and grueling process" they finally made the announcement yesterday evening at their weekly press conference. New Director Lance Alan was quoted saying that "This was a great honor" for him and that he would "continue Aperture's tradition of providing excellency to the people of Revana, leading the nation towards a new era of Peace and Order." The 34 year old Revanan Man has extensive military service fighting in the Haven Civil War and The war of Enlightenment before joining up with Aperture's Military R&D division. His goals seem to be to push Aperture further into it's recent trend of being a solid Military contractor. How this will work our for the people of Revana and the rest of the world remains to be seen, but we definitely look forward to seeing what great things this man will do for our Nation. |
