 Princesses Jet Liner Crashes, No Survivors, Monarch Dead  MT.IGNIERTO - This morning at 7:46 Andean TIme, the Arch Princesses' jet liner dissipated from air control radar, communication had been cut off momentarily when the plane entered El Paso valley, diverting from it's coarse, flying blindly off of manual control without the guidance of any instruments in the cockpit, caused by unknown mechanical failure. The plane, unknowingly dipped slightly below the hanging clouds, slamming into the side of Mt.Ignierto, no survivors were recorded at the site. Armanda Penultimo, the Princess of the people and ruler of the sovereign Nueva Ardia died in the crash, along with her immediate Privy Council on the plane. The Blackbox has been retrieved and is currently under study of the Aviation Union, the investigation will conclude what went wrong with the Princesses flight and if it was sabotage by an unknown opposing force of the crown. Till then however the nation mourns the loss of another monarch within the decade but celebrates the succession of the Principality. Prince Claudio Penultimo will become the new Arch Prince, made official by a future coronation or enthronement. Royal authorities have yet to comment on the future succession of Armanda to Claudio, her first born son. "Right now, we need to give the royal family and country time to mourn the loss of another great monarch in our Socialist Democracy." the Royal Authorities commented. Today the nation mourns the loss of Armanda Penultimo, guiding the nation through a turbulent dark decade and protecting the constitutional rights of the common people with her rule. She will be succeeded by Claudio Penultimo, Prince of Nueva Ardia, Duke of Rica, a man revered for his temptations to live on the edge, similar to his father, the former Arch Prince Augusto Penultimo. Military Announces Drastic Downsize  Chief of Staff, Aurelio Mayer The Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular comunes announced today that the Asamblea approved the Royal Executive edict that activates the drastic downsizing of the Nueva Ardian military and after political speculation the Royal government released a report, showing that keeping the current military budget would collapse the treaury and unjustly increase the tax burden upon the people. "We need to focus on the welfare and education of our people." Pelita Vasquez, the Grand Chancellor says. "The military is hardly a priority, even with the mad bipolar state of Zachechenavia at our borders, they are as capable militarily as a putito!" Pelita joked, trying the lighten up the mood in the aftermath of Armanda Penultimo's death. With these budget cuts and downsizing fo the military from over a million members to just under 300,000 though is not necessarily a bad thing, Chief of Staff Aurelio Mayer explains further, "The Army is adapting to these cuts and it's something that's been in the talks for years, we've been preparing to increase the size of our professional military force aka commando's. With our volunteer force downsizing the Army staff has put more work into the building up and refining our special forces, one reason being budget cuts and the other the change in how modern warfare is fought." Aurelio says. 3 Million Gather to Honor Armanda Penultimo For Funeral  3 Million gathered in near the Belleza Capitol building in honor of passed Princess of Nueva Ardia, Armanda Penultimo. This event took place shortly after her ceremonial funeral, where her body was carried by members of her administration, Prince Claudio Penultimo and her daughter, Adelaita Penultimo. The body was carried in the streets of Belleza, with crowds gathered on the streets throwing pedals of compilation of flowers. The ceremonial burning then took place, the former Princesses body cleansed of all former negative energy for her trip into the eternal Sun. A celebration was then held, a reflection of Armanda herself and the passing of one life so another may be birthed into the world, manifesting her qualities into into the newly born life. The new monarch, Prince Claudio Penultimo then gathered the ashes and doused them in the wild gardens of Abelle Palace. After the funeral, the royal family receded into the palace and millions began to gather in the streets, holding a royal festival that continued into the night. BREAKING STORY: Navy Goes on Alert Near Northern Zachechenavian Coast; Government Condemns the Rosocor Regime It's just in that after the brutal Zachechanavian execution of 500+ of it's own citizens for the attempted migration to Ndambia that the Nueva Ardian military is on alert at the border and northern coast of Zachechanavia. The government also announced it will freely accept refugees from the brutal Rosocor regime crossing into over the border into Nueva Ardian territory along with condemning the regime. Mt.Guardia Erupts  Mt.Guardia This stratovolcano can have vents at its summit as well as along its flanks, and eruptions can occur through any one of them. More than 30 small cinder cones and vents dot the sides of Guardia.Major eruptions in 1975 and 1998 added lava layers and two new cones to Guardia. Historical records of this volcano's eruptions go back to 1558.This week's eruption was characterized by so-called strombolian explosions, according to Belleza University. Caused by the sudden release of gases that have built up within a volcano, strombolian explosions result in spectacular fountains of lava and debris.The ash clouds that balloon over these eruptions can also spawn lightning, thanks to the static electricity that builds up. Troops Deployed in Nueva Ardia  Troops have been deployed to the most southern provinces of Nueva Ardia near the Zachachenavian border, at first the general consensus was against Zachachenavia, however as what happened four years ago, small Stalinist-Leninist uprisings have occured. This time is much different however, numbers of the rebels have dramatically increased to what is under speculation to be because of hidden Zachachenavian support for the rebels, in hopes of spreading Zachachenavian ideology of Communism. It seems with this illegitimate border established Zachachenavia effectively owns half of the city.” With both sides not wanting to concede to any terms, some are wondering if the borders are truly staying illegitimate. “last thing we want to do is end up in a long-term situation where the city is divided long enough for the southern half to be considered Zachachenavia. We will not have that, the people over that border are not Zachachenavian, they are Andean Nueva Ardians.” With disputes over the city rising tensions and dissolving relations between the states further, many wonder if Zachachenavia will fulfill their cause for war and help the Stalinist rebels establish their own state, or will they simply attempt to annex the territory they gained? “Either action would break the armistice.” Says Pelita Vasquez, but Nueva Ardia is not willing to go to war any time soon nor is Nueva Ardia looking to having war take place in the region. NUEVA ARDIA’S PNBS Public News Broadcasting Station Military Announces Plans of Military Expansion – Downsize Deactivated The Fuerzas Armadas de Nueva Ardia Executive Staff announced alongside the Cancillería de Defensa that following the recent conflict with Zachachenavia, Nueva Ardia lives in a dangerous condition, next to its enemy. The Cancillería de Defensa released a public statement saying: “We must be prepared for the next strike and as Zachachenavia will continue to expand with its imperialistic foreign policy we must be there to isolate and halt their autocratic fantasies.” This now means that the Fuerzas Armandas de Nueva Ardia will halt it’s military downsize and begin military expansion. “We won’t just be expanding but upgrading our military with new training techniques and technology.” Says Chief of Staff, Aurelio Mayer. NUEVA ARDIA’S PNBS Public News Broadcasting Station Nueva Ardia's 5th Generation Fighter Announced  Big announcement today for the NAAF when their executive command board released a public statement of successful test-flights of the new Nueva Ardian built 5th Generation fighter, the NA-50. This is the first advanced fighter jet to be held by Nueva Ardia, equipped with stealth system but prided for it's high maneuverability and far reaching radar, the NA-50 has been deemed by the airforce, "As a tool to gain air-to-air superiority." This fighter is expected to run alongside the SJ NA-39, which is expected to be used for lighter roles and immediate air support, able to quickly take off and maneuver on small air-strips. Before the Armistice was signed, Special Forces was working day and night to extract civilians from occupied territories in dangerous, desperate missions in a display of extreme heroics, a total of 74 Conquistadores(Special Forces Unit) were killed in actions, more missing in action, others confirmed to be taken prisoner. In these covert operations, not public until now, a total of 5,000 Nueva Ardians were taken from occupied territory to protect them from the Zachachenavian brutality. However, today there is still a clear struggle, as the occupied territory is plagued with poverty and destruction of war. Nueva Ardians, flee from the occupied territory, crossing dangerous desolate mountains and desperately making dashing across the city border in Lima, most however, thousands are moving in hordes throught the mountains to get back to their homeland. “We have walked for seven days, it’s not a long way but the mountains are hard to travel around.” Says a Nueva Ardian farmer, “I want to get my family to a safer place, every day people dying here and we need to get back home. The government needs to act, Andeans are dying at the hands of these brutal foreigners.” The farmer told us, also stating that he is gladly joining the Armed Forces, to push Zachachenavia out and take back his homeland from the terrorist rebels. It’s not just Nueva Ardians however, it’s Zachachenavians fleeing their own regime, “These people, these people that my country invaded are being so nice to me, and I don’t know why.” Says Vinogradova Marina Timofeyevna, mother of four and former factory worker, “And they say: We know what you-go through with your evil state and we hate them, you hate them, let’s be friends.” Vinogrdova chuckled, “I am happy to getting my children to place where they get, education, they get, good healthcare, they get the freedom of a choice.” It is estimated that millions have and will continue to cross the border, however these hopefuls have to get past the Zachachenavian border guard, a brutal force to be reckoned with. This issue already sparking three skirmishes between Nueva Ardian and Zachachenavian border forces, these instances are described as ‘isolated incidents’ as well the recent engagement of Zachachenavian and Nueva Ardian Fighters, dubbed as an incident. Vendosia has entered in the new unnamed Battlefield System alongside Nueva Ardia, the project committed to the overhaul of clothing, armor and weapons as well as the full integration of Portable Electric platforms for commanders and squad leaders on the field. The Battlefield’s System Network(BSN) will also be tested. Optronic systems are also being integrated, which will all be shared with Vendosia and co-operative investment and development. The information network allows information to be shared throughout the infantry section, tank section and air squadron. Each radio can subscribe to two networks simultaneously. This offers the squad leader some flexibility in organising communication networks in his section. Each network has an audio conference channel, with priority given to the squad leader, an alert channel from the infantryman to his leader, and a data transmission channel. Voice and data transmission is based on tried and tested DECT civilian technology (domestic cordless telephone technology). Each sub-network works from a base carried by the squad leader. As sets are all identical, a soldier can replace his commander if necessary by configuring his set as base. This comes from a a chain of ideological, diplomatic and economic conflicts with the Catholic Church, creating tension. Several past attempts by hidden government agencies such as the alleged La Persuasion del Principe, which conspiracy theorist still say exist, have tried to provoke or bribe the Nueva Ardian Catholic Church into committing crimes that would provoke the state to commit action towards banning the Church. This leak comes straight from Pelita Vasquez saying, “It’s a state secret that needs to be shared, this is the first time this type of insanity was committed by the Socialist Republic, it brings light to new issues that need to be addressed by the Chancellery itself.” Catholic restrictions have been lifted, with the Chancellery using the Deny Authorization Act and a Constitutional Clause for their reasoning. However, the Nueva Ardian government is generally upset, seeing itself as conceding to the demands of the world police man, Rokkenjima. “It’s why we can’t be involved with these organizations in the first place, they all bend to the demands of one state, Rokkenjima.” Says Federico Santillan. “While I agree completely that this recent atrocious bill should be revoked immediately, I don’t agree with blatantly threatening nations into joining an international organization. There is only one area of trade being restricted and that’s arms, but with action opens up the possibility and ability to use this type of tactic with any organization. You can’t stop a nation that heads an organization, that has become powerful enough, to not force nations into their sphere by restrictions. Which imposed by one powerful enough could have large adverse effects on the target nation. Nueva Ardia does not wish to be a part of this, nor do we wish to be forced into anything else.” The Chancellery has filed to leave MCUR, despite the five year contract Nueva Ardia is bound to the Grand Chancellor’s collective officers released a statement saying, “The Principality signed the MCUR, not us. Prince Claudio Penultimo signed the treaty and Pelita Vasquez was bound to support him. In no way did the monarch truly represent the intentions of this government and it’s peoples when he signed it, therefore it is illegitimate. This time however the Chancellery enforced online live voting and a live feed into the assembly so debates and reasoning could be heard. In the end, it was voted with 84% approval of the bill, passing it beyond the reach of the Chancellery. The Chancellery could easily override the bill again and make it permanent but the reaction of the Assembly and political ramifications for Pelita Vasquez could be dire. “We can’t take democracy to a point of where we’re collectively voting to discriminate against a people and their doctrine of belief. Law’s have to be in place to protect these minority groups, we cannot take away the religion in which 40% of the people of Merida worship. I don’t live in Zachachenavia, I live in Nueva Ardia.” Pelita Vasquez commented angrily after slamming the doors from the Chancellery council meeting yesterday. Meanwhile, Nueva Ardia is still objecting to the MCUR, “I understand the upheaval with banning the Catholic church.” Says Federico Santillan, “But Nueva Ardia and it’s peoples do not wish to participate in an alliance that imposes its own liberal ideology upon nations who refuse to recognize an internationalist bill, it’s completely absurd. Next thing you know they’ll be hanging a big nice MDB loan over their heads and will give it to them under their own conditions.” With that, Nueva Ardia does not recognize or consider itself a part of the MCUR anymore, despite the threat of sanctions. NUEVA ARDIA’S PNBS Public News Broadcasting Station Peltia Vasquez Seizes Legislature in Military Standoff  Soldier Standing Guard After constant deliberation with the government, Grand Chancellor Pelita Vasquez forced the Chancellery into a position of charging the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Common People, Jose Baca with a Constitutional Crime. This comes after Assembly deliberately ignored the wishes of the Grand Chancellor to halt the process of inaugurating the recent bill that bans the Catholic church, effectively banning the Catholic church. After refusal of appearing before the Chancellery for judgement, Jose Baca took refuge in the Capitol building, with a total of 160 soldiers guarding the perimeter. In response, Pelita Vasquez ordered Federico Santillan to command the Defence Ministry to de-commission those soldiers guarding the Capitol building. When the order was filed, the command was refused and the soldiers were regarded as mutaniers. A total of 500 soldiers backed Pelita Vasquez, as she ordered for the Capitol Building and Legislative Hall in Belleza to be siezed by the army. For six hours soldiers stood off with eachother, then Jose Baca gave himself up and the Legislature was seized militarily by the Chancellery under accusations of breaking constitutional laws, breaking the basic human rights protected under the Constitution itself. After the hostile takeover by the Chancellery, the bill ws immediately deemed inactive and officially disposed of by Constitutional court. "It's straining that it came to this." stated Pelita Vasquez. The bill was defeated, the Catholic church remains, but this does not however change Nueva Ardia's stance on the MCUR. "The elections were mandatory, the Chancellery felt that a better representation of the population would be achieved through mandatory voting. With this re-election, we've achieved better results and a more balanced government structure." says Grand Chancellor Pelita Vasquez. When the Grand Chancellor was elected, mandatory voting was enforced, in principle to get true representation of the whole population. However, the National Assembly was not elected with mandatory voting, despite a growing politically conscious population analyst have simply said, "Nueva Ardians just forgot about the National Assembly General Elections." with led to a one-sided Assembly, the culturally conservative parties gaining main authority over the council. With this re-shuffle and forced voting, Socialist Democrats now control the Assembly, followed by the Social Green Party, Communism for Democracy and lastly, the Marxist Party. The previous ruling arty hardly gained three seats in the Assembly. With Pelita Vasquez's swift actions to deal with the rogue Assembly and Speaker, her approval rating has increased from 76% to 83%, receiving appraisal mainly from the minority Catholic Community and the Church itself. Our sources tell us he is still alive but may be induced in a coma, this is not the official statement but is most likely the case. The Airforce recently received an additional budget from Abelle Palace for this project, marking one the first truly original made Nueva Ardian fighter jet's. The MRF-1 will be mass produced on a scale to eventually replace the old JCG, known for it's capability to take off with little preparation and even from smaller helicopter carriers and airfields. The MRF-1 will be inspired, or rather a cousin of the JCG. The MRF-1 will feature two internal weapons bays and several external wingpoints. Teamed with new stealth technology and the Nueva Ardian radar-cross section, the MRF-1 comes with stealth capabilities specifically designed against Zachachenavain radars and coincidentally, with a more stealth design like the recent NA5F-1 "Ardo" could out-smart modern radars of more advanced belligerents. The aircraft generally comes with high maneuverability while keeping moderate stealth abilities in mind, it was designed for quick attack roles and offering in close support for troops along with being able to out-maneuver most in intense turns and having the long range capability of 100 to 200 km depending on it's payload(cruise missiles). New Nueva Ardian air-to-air missiles being designed are exected to carrying a range of up to 80 to 90km. Due the recent military budget decrease yet recent additional funding to the Airforce, the first test of the MRF-1 is expected within the next two months. |

"People are finding faith and more enlightenment in Materna than they are with Andeanism. Materna is a faith based religion while Andeanism is humanist and fact-based, as they say ignorance is bliss." After the ceremony, Duna 11 was launched, it’s designated landing site on Duna named ‘Pride of Andean’, honoring the three Nueva Ardian astronauts, Jose Laca, Laura Fueden and Carlos Epedia. Duna 11 is expected to reach the Red Planet within 280 days(due to the launch being slightly delayed), NASA will be giving Live Web and televised feed of the landing. With Nueva Ardia naturally being a globalized economy by the Matilda Channel, many wonder how these new deals will crossover. Various oil companies, agricultural companies and other foreign businesses are already threatening the government with it’s overhanging debt to these corporations. Nueva Ardia has been marked down being plunged into ‘default’ debt, refusing to pay loans owed to various independent sources around the world. These laws have caused a major economic impact in the Canals, most unions have taken control of all the assets or the government has, many private companies now retreating and trade becoming stagnate. “We need to focus on our people.” Tero says. “Monopolies bought out land and workers, took the food from the Nueva Ardian people and sold it in the market, but their imperial economic policies created great inflation in Nueva Ardia, many could simply afford the basic necessities every human being as a right to. “ These moves, driven by the principle of the people have put Nueva Ardia in a deadly default, with this move being the equivalent of a country unwillingly slipping into one, the country is expected to hit a financial crisis though the government is determined to defy these international rules of economics. While many theorize the country can just restructure it’s way to pay debt and ask for more time, the government has stated it’s resilience and refuses to pay. Even going to the Mundus Development Bank for help has been an alternative to help bailout the sinking Nueva Aridan state, but the government remains stubborn. |

”The South Hills Base Has to Go” Tero Melos, shortly after the press conference, signed off on the Legislative request to force the South Hills military base on the Matilda Island, to leave. With no response or recognition from the South Hills government about the order to vacate the island Armed Forces may be moved into the base forcefully to secure South Hills’ leave if they continue to show further lack of recognition. This comes after South Hills ordered the removal of El Shaw, the Nueva Ardia government strong in it's position saying, "If they're not moving from our homeland, we're not moving from theirs." Government Aims to Prevent 'Non-Transparency' The Melos administration has takne steps to ensure the complete transparency of the government in wake of the corporate scandal, when illegal lobbyist tried to buy out several members of Valencia San Miguel’s ministry. In an interview with ‘Andean Today’ Tero commented saying, “Me and the Minister of Economic, Valencia, have been working on ways to improve the security of government sovereignty from other self-motivated sources.” Tero also said in another interview that the government, with the ever growing attention to the internet and social media in the country, will begin opening up T.V broadcasted and internet streamed live AMA’s, taking questions from websites like Reddit, Facebook, E-mail and Twitter. These streams will be in the form of a ‘fireside chat’ but will focused around answering and discussing the subjects brought up by the questions. Another edition includes a fully functional Adminitration website which include live feed of the National Caucus and a rating system, as well as open forums where legislative and executive officials are encouraged to participate in. “We want to make a legislative function.” Tero says. “If bill is being held up or stalled by the legislature then the people have a right to get past the politician nonsense and push the bill through as well as give input.” |

Government Launches Investigation on 'El Auraxis' After reports that the research division at the El Auraxis base in Vendosia is abusing it's powers as head of research, Tero Melos filed and executive order the the National Caucus yesterday to enact the Republic Investigation Bureau(RIB), it was passed and RIB is now investigating claims of 'unjust' biological experiments in the base. Senator Fidel Blows Up On Rokkenjima After the released statements by Rokkenjima regarding their controversial Declaration of Rights to non-human persons, Senator Fidel found the government’s lack of action against what he deemed the modern age of manipulative imperialism to be unacceptable, he spoke out during a meeting. “If only Rokkenjima would apply this to humans.” Fidel says after a session in the National Caucus. “They protect animals and their simple way of life because they have culture and it is theirs, yet they want to push other nation’s into their very own cultural beliefs. The Army and Navy announced this week that the new government budget allows a 300 billion dollar investment in revitalizing the ground and strengthening the Naval force. The Army has announced the integration of a larger conventional army, meaning an overhaul of soldier battle dress and the introduction of a new rifle more effect for combat, while the Army has looked abroad the Army announced the Nueva Ardian IR-14, inspired by East Moreland manufactured weapons. Meaning, it will maintains older if not basic equipment for light troops, the special forces group ‘The Conquistadors’ will also be maintained with basic equipment, the agency siding with ability over numbers and technological prowess in their situations. Meanwhile, the Navy sets its sights to expand the non-guerilla marine corps and establish a strong number of coast defenses, introducing shore guns and coastal anti-ship missile plans, being self-propelled and silo based. Rumors have also been circulating of a new Nueva Ardian Destroyer class, the Navy has disclosed this rumor as false. Death Penalty Laws Work to Abolish the Practice Sparking controversy, the National Caucus debated endlessly on Death Penalty laws, causing fallout among political parties making divisions more apparent. On one side, the Death Penalty was referred to as ‘Unjust Human Sacrifice’, by most in the Social Democratic Union, alluding to old practices of historical human religious sacrifice on the Peninsula, in what studies say is an ever growing atheistic country. On the other side, the Independent Democratic Union wholly opposed the abolishment of the practice, stating it as Justice in the old beliefs or ‘an eye for an eye’ or the old Andean philosophy of ‘If someone treats you wrongfully in your own lair, show no mercy towards their pungent ways.’, one of the virtues outlined by Sol, the supreme god. However in the end, SDU won and effectively set in motion laws that would lead to the ultimate abolishment of the Death Penalty throughout the provinces.  Ernesto Cruz Ernesto Cruz, Chairman of the Independent Democratic Union spoke against the ruling, calling the Judicial Courts to overview the ruling. “We need to uphold our tradition Andean values.” He says. “This is not ‘human sacrifice’ but in scripture is justice outlined by the ruling laws of Sol and Cuahtemoc themselves. We will be leaving advisory forces, such as the SGMT but decreasing their numbers and a number of forward operation post will be established, in order to aid CTOMM advance and also, Special Operations will continue but at large we won’t deploy a large force to Marseilles.” Investigation in Government Involvement With Cartels Members of the government such as former Chief of Military Staff Fedrico Santillian, also a leading member of the Independent Democratic Union Party is suspected to be in contact with largest Cartel in Nueva Ardia, Montenegro. This news comes after Nueva Ardian Conquistador’s under the Navy occupied a false tanker ship, hauling loads of cocaine and heroin from the Southern Peninsular regions and Marseilles, to what’s suspected to be Caspivus and Transvaal. Weapons, also imported from a foreign mixed source, most likely Nueva Ardian officials say it’s Zachachenavian, though the Melos administration wants to keep a steady hand before making accusations as tensions at the border are calming after a tense meeting. Santillan so far has denied any connection and a host of three members from Tero’s cabinet are being charged with corruption and have been evicted from their positions as well as put on trial.  Vaas Montenegro, Drug Lord/Cartel Leader The Special Coastal Defence Force(SCDF) and National Crime Intelligence Service(NCIS(heh)) announced their hunt for the Montenegro leader known as Vaas, a brutal man only described as a sociopath who has a score of murders under his belt to grow and protect his own criminal enterprise. With big corporate money no longer being a factor of the Cartel gang, the Black Market has grown more inefficient, it’s dealers and distributors slipping up, leader to more bust everyday. However the Market have in fact grown, though more disorganized and sporadic it’s grown hectically at the loss of anti-corporate government policy, which held huge investments in the Black and White markets.
