We are the TKN newspaper, and we are here to tell everyone completely non-biased news stories going on in the Kingdom of Balrad. I hope you enjoy and learn a bunch about are Glorious Nation. For Balrad, Glory to the King!

14/03/2015: Doctors requesting Compulsory Organ Harvesting: Doctors all over the Kingdom of Balrad have been requesting Compulsory organ Harvesting from dead bodies. One side states that because of low Government spending and low donation counts, they are really low on organs to replace failed ones. The other side states that the people have their rights to their organs even after they are dead. The government has Proceeded with taking the side of the Doctors and are taking Compulsory Organ Harvesting to the Legislation. Nazi Supporters Rally: Nazi Supporters in the Kingdom of Balrad have planned a rally outside the Legislation. One side states that they have the right to say what they want and should not be prosecuted for speaking their beliefs. The other side states that their racism toward Jews needs to be stopped. The Government has not proceeded with taking this to the Legislation. |

15/03/2015: Uranium Deposits promise to enrich the Balradian Economy:The company Nukes4U has found a large deposit of Uranium in the Countries South-West. Nukes4U says "That this could supply the economy with thousands of more jobs and more trade, all we need to do is get permission to cut down the Rain forest on top of the Deposits". Another side states that the forest is thousands of years old and should be saved. The last side says we can do a Win-Win by cutting part of the rain forest and mining only that part of it. The Government decided to start cutting the forest for mining. Citizens burden under "unfair" taxes: Many citizens of the Kingdom of Balrad are complaining about high taxes, "Too much of my work goes to the government, we need to stop spending so much in welfare, health and education". Another side states that its not the AMOUNT of tax, its the burden. "Most of the burden goes to the poor, when the rich has more money to use" states the supporters. the last argument states that its all about where the money is spent. The Government has decided to raise taxes for the rich to get rid of the burden on the poor. |

16/03/2015: Police Consider "Big Brother Anti-Crime System": The Police are sending a new idea to the Government that they should set up cameras at every public place in the country. One side states that this is a complete invasion of privacy. One police group states that it will cut down on crime even more than before. The last group state that instead we need ID cards and a National Database. The Government has decided to support the police and install cameras. People protest for "Less Dictatorshipish Government": People have started protesting in the streets of cities today for more political freedoms. Some people in the Government say that they need to be killed for treason. The other side states they need a opposition that does not agree with every thing they say. The Government has decided to ignore these suggestions. |

17/03/2015: Military demands increased funding: The military is demanding more funding to help fight of any invading nations. The Chief of defence says "It is Turbulent times, and if we don't get more funding we might not be able to defend the nation". Protesters state that we need less bombs and to be a more peaceful nation. The Government has decided to fund the Military. Reclaim the streets: Hundreds of people rode their bikes down the streets today to protest. One rider states that cars destroy the environment and need to be banned. Some motorists state that they were late for work and these protests need to stop. The Government has dismissed the issue. |

18/03/2015: The Government spending. The Government is deciding what to spend money on in the budget. The ones they are trying to decide on are Education, Military, Welfare, and just lowering taxes. The Government has decided to increase spending in Education. New Religious Adviser: The Government was choosing a Religious adviser today. One of the candidates is a famous Catholic Archbishop and then there was a non-denominational New Age Thinker. The Government has not chosen yet. |

19/03/2015: Cloning research promises new breakthrough: Scientists that have been using human embryos for testing are close to a medical breakthrough. The Lab head states "We have kept quiet for a while, but we are so close to a breakthrough that we need funding! I will be so great". The Other side states that this is messing with life itself and we should not be playing God. The Government has decided to ban this practice and killed everyone to do with this act. Harry Potter debate: Some people want Harry Potter to be banned: Some Religious groups demand that the books are banned because of demons being shown as good. The other side says it Fantasy and should not be taken seriously, and Religion is nuts. the Government has ignored the issue |

20/03/2015:Child Gambling Scare: Children around 8 years and older have been seen gambling. One group says that Gambling should be illegal. The other side says that it is good for the children. The Government has not given a public announcement about this. Nudist protests: Nudists are wanting relaxed laws: The Nudists state that if its their bodies they can choose what to do with it. The other side states that they don't want want to see that. The Government said that they will not allow nudity. |

23/03/2015: Brain sports pain: Many children are getting head injuries playing the national sport ProwBearBall. One parent states that ProwBearBall should be banned from schools. While gamers state that physical sports should be banned altogether. The Government has not spoken on this yet. Homosexual teacher rage: A Homosexual teacher has been fired from a religious school for their sexuality. One parent states that they don't want their children having a Homosexual role model. Another side states that a person should not be fired for their sexuality. The Government has not publicly spoken on the matter. |

24/03/2015:Terrorists strike city center: Lilliputian Freedom Fighters have exploded a car in Highreign city on the 23rd. Some Military leaders state that we need to invade the government that is supporting the terrorists. The Balradian Intelligence Agency wants wire tapping and easier search warrants. Some Wacko wants terrorism to be legal, and one group says negotiation is the way. The Government is adopting peaceful negotiations. Unconventional weapons debate: A new weapon the BFG-69 (AKA the "Organ Grinder) is under fire from critics. "These weapons are inhumane, and what will happen if they got in the wrong hands?" says some hippies. While some ballistic experts state that without new guns our Military will fall behind. "We should not have to pay more taxes for our children to be taught a language if they do not want to be", says some concerned parents. The Government has decided not to spend taxes on this area. Politician budget attacked: Media outlets have attacked politicians for adding personal luxuries into Government spending. "Why is the media going around in our lives anyway, we need privacy!" States one politician. We should lower there pay and have them make a living like we do, states angry readers, they need to experience the normal live of a Balradian. 26/03/2015: Tax payers on strike: With the tax increase to 29.7% people are stopping paying taxes to protest. "We need a tax cut right now, or we will run out of money!" states angry taxpayers. Some people should have the right for community service or military service. The Government has started trying to find out other ways to pay taxes. Blood banks running dry: Blood banks are needing more blood. Some people say that they should get paid for donating. While some say it should be illegal. The Government has decided that prisoners have compulsory blood donating. |

27/03/2015:Don't puff on me:Non-smokers want smoking out of public areas. "We need them to smoke only inside of their own homes, for the children!" says worried parents. "It needs to be outlawed!" says angry people. "We should not be discriminated for our smoking" states smokers everywhere. 28/03/2015:Blazing Through the paper: A fire in the National Archives has sparked a debate. "If we store this information in computers, it is way safer. We can have backups, and they can not catch on fire, they are all around more safe" states the PR rep. for a electronics company. "We can just make Fire Resistant Paper, and also if hackers got into the system they would ruin everything!" says The CEO of Delco Paper. One mans says that we should copy it on to Stone, because it can't be lit on fire and can not get hacked. The Government is trying to rebuild the Archives with Fire Resistant Paper. This Story is brought to you by: Delco Paper! Murderer Found: The "Forest Murderer" was arrested yesterday in his trailer, in the Highreign trailer park. His case will be brought to court on the 2nd of April. Protesters looking for full integration: A certain minority is looking for rights. "We need full integration now, because we are tired of being overlooked!" States one protester. "How dare these protesters shut down a school for a day!" states a parent "they need to be doubt with right now. The Government has not spoken about this. |

29/03/2015:Road tolls: Some people have brought up a way to make city roads less packed. "If we add a $5 toll to enter on really busy roads, our traffic will go down and public transit will be used way more!" states a traffic Warden. While others state that this will never work, and Public Transport will never replace the car. The Government has decided to add tolls on busy roads. This story is brought to you by: Jaas Transport A Forest fire was started in the Hire Forest on the 27th, the cause is unknown. Animal testing under fire: Some groups are trying to fight animal testing. "Animals should not be taken from the wild to have needles stuck in them, just for some research" states the Owner of the East Prowbear sanctuary. "Well look at all the research we have done, with just a small sacrifice from the animals" says one researcher. The Government is stating that they are outlawing animal testing. 30/03/2015:Maternity leave: Some expecting mothers are demanding 6 month full pay maternity leave. "Six months! Six months of getting paid for doing nothing is terrible. It will run our companies out of money an will make women have more babies!". "These kids need a mother during times of learning. Six months maternity leave would be great for this nation". 02/04/2015: Independence Movement explodes bomb!: The Dusken independent movement has started getting serious, by exploding a car bomb in Dusken yesterday. "we need to fight back against this threat" states the minister of Defence "If we do not, they will take more lives for their evil thoughts". 16/05/2015:Justice!:Family and friends of Sara Hunden, a 10 year old killed by a tank going down the road, are demanding justice against the Soldiers that did it. "An innocent life was taken because the military drives their tanks down the roads of Cities and Towns, the soldiers and their Commanding Officer should pay for this" states an angry protester. The Minister of Defense John Ovhellborn, who is also the Kings brother states " The Military should have the right to take a shortcut through the city if we need to, also it was the girls fault that the got hit. The law clearly states that if there is a Military Vehicle around 100 meters from you heading in your direction, you can not cross the road, they have the right of way"! 18/06/2015:Fire: A fire was started at the Kings News on the 18th of May this has caused us to not let out any papers this last couple weeks, we have moved into a new building and will be creating papers as much as we can. 04/10/2015:Expedition!:A group of Zoologists are starting an expedition to Hygelac to study about past Plant and Animal life there. During an interview the Project leader Ben Matter. He stated, "This expedition we are doing will have great uses in the future knowing if and how plant and animal life can exist of Hygelac, maybe even humans!" Due to the hype we will be writing about many of their findings in the future. |

09/11/2015:Expedition 2:The Expedition to Hygelac arrived on the 2 of November. The scientists are immediately going to be looking for any large plant or animal life. The Balradian Animal Shelter has had a large amount of dogs brought in in the last month. They are really recamending that if you are planning to adopt now is the time. |
