OOC- to address point 1 there Rhodes, with Cool LOA the active voting membership was actually down to 12 so at six Tim reaches 50% but I agree that there wasn't a time limit placed that I'm aware of.

OOC: all I am saying is 1) not all members voted and 2) there was no time frame. Frankly for someone whi puts so much time and weight into IC and OOC constitutions and legalities to arbitrarily decide when a vote is over is BULLSHIT. Now It doesnt make any difference to me IC or OOcly how this turned out, and a quick PM woukd have gotten my concession long before i noticed the vote tally, but next time you need to allow people a chance to vote with a clearly stated end time. Otherwise people will assume our VIce Chancellor and an established RPer can and will do whatever the fuck he wants without due process. Oh, and elections fraud.

OOC: I forgot to include a timeframe, and had assumed one had been included when I closed the polls. Had it been pointed out to me prior to the closure of polls then I would have included an appropriate timescale. Please also refrain from using unnecessarily obscene language. |

Even with 12 voters a majority is still 7 or an expiry of time, which wasnt included. Even then i just pointed out what I though was wrong and accepted the results until i got the very terse reply "48 hours is enough voting time. 6-4 is the final result." Apparently CGJ doesn't like it when people think something wasnt done quite right. Also CGJ, between IRC, BeaXtra and the rest of the forum you drop more obscene stuff than any three people here combined. Calling me on language in this instance is just petty. Dont like what I wrote? Feel free to charge me.

I think this has gone on long enough. I would like to ask that both C and Rhodes review what took place here and, in future elections/anything with a time-table, make it perfectly clear beforehand. There's no reason for any of us to be at odds, we just have to learn what didn't work here and make sure not to repeat it in the future. ^^ If there's any further disagreements over this matter they may be referred to my inbox. |
