MBC Spotlight Our main topic tonight is the revitalization of the Morgenthali economy via policies and new partnerships with foreign nations. On a press conference today Pastor István Mándoki, Minister of Mining and Industry, released the following statement: "The Government firmly believes that Morgenthale is on its way out of this great economic crisis of our young nation. The newly installed Agricultural Subsidy Programs help our agriculture to develop in this harsh environment and to be competitive in the global market in a fair way, while mining and industry remain as important for us as ever. Morgenthale is not on its own, as we've got significant help and encouragement from various nations around Mundus, such as the Republic of Nueva Ardia and her Zachachevanian brothers, the United Spartan States, and the Federation of the Dijel. We are, on behalf of our whole nation, truly grateful for those who lent us their hands in this time of need. Our Government intends to foster these new friendships and make preparations for establishing a framework for strengthening our bonds in commerce, development and international relations in the future." Although Pastor Mándoki neither confirmed nor denied to the questions of the press, our sources are telling us that there is indeed a 'Krimeon Economic Partnership Initiative' as a working title in use in governmental circles, that could indicate it will be officially presented to those nations'delegations that are bound to arrive to Morgenthale in the near future. |

MBC Breaking News As the oldest power station in Morgenthale suffered a catastrophic failure last night, plunging a third of Morgenthale's national power supply grid into darkness, there is no debate that it needs to be replaced. The Morgenthali Government is in session right now, and it seems that the solution will come from either nuclear or renewable energy sources. According to our sources, there is also a big economic package on the table as well, from The United Socialist Republics of Zachachevania, which may or may not also be in relation with the necessary development of the country's energy industry. Although the recent power outage had a major impact on Morgenthale and its citizens, the people are optimists that the hardest part of the economic crisis is over. |

MBC Spotlight Our main topic tonight is the First Empire of Rokkenjima and the recent development of internal affairs there. As of now, the Empress Beatrice Anselmo and her lord husband the Emperor Alexander are under house arrest by their own people. We are going live as our Head of State, Bishop Leó Kolozsvári is ready to make a statement to the press: "Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen! As you may already know, the great country that is called the First Empire of Rokkenjima is in a state of turmoil. The conflict in Marseille escalated into this, which is truly regrettable. It is also pitiable, that the Ardian Diplomatic Convention, which we were part as impartial mediators, became a spark to this flame. The whole Convention started on a hopeful belief that we can grow out of the so-called 'blame game', yet these recent events showed us that it's still a long way to go. The self proclaimed Regent of Rokkenjima, Ms. Sumire Abruscato, is also became part of this vicious cycle, and as such we can not and will not acknowledge her person as a figure of legitimate authority, even if she has Her Imperial Majesty Adriana as a front. Hence our Government of Morgenthale hereby proclaim this atrocious act on her part as treason and coup d'état. Morgenthali citizens, please note that our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade issued Travel Warning to Rokkenjima. We strongly suggest against all travel to Rokkenjima and recommend that Morgenthali citizens currently in Rokkenjima depart as soon as it is feasible to do so. That is all for now. MBC Breaking News Morgenthale's first space rocket called 'Hermes' is being developed for projects such as the William Patterson Space Telescope which gave boost to several nation's space programs, including ours. The Hermes Project is partially sponsored by the private sector, and is now ready for the first fly tests on the Délfok Air Force Base, Isle of Karaxony. We will come back with further news on the mission as soon as it is made public. |
