ANDRITE DAILY Rebel President Marc Delfino was arrested on Oct. 14 and will begin his trial process within the next few weeks, according to Head of Police Affairs Baptiste Overland. "Capturing Delfino was definitely the most difficult part," Overland said. "He had many ex-Rebels helping him hide and an insider informed us that he was planning to escape to a neighboring country." The arrest was violent, according to witnesses. Delfino was concealed in a manhole in downtown Emerlot. Inside the manhole, there were many hidden weapons, maps and blueprints for destructive weapons. The police have confiscated all items found in Delfino's manhole and will investigate them. Delfino resisted and even bit several officers. Officer Tej Ricken had to eventually subdue Delfino with a stun gun. "I felt about using the stun gun," Ricken said. "But I knew I had no choice. Deep down, I knew it was my duty to bring back Delfino. He's a war criminal and responsible for the death of millions." Delfino was considered to be single-handedly responsible for the civil war that tore apart the country for over 40 years. Allegedly he incited the war for monetary gains - he supposedly planned and drafted many bills to make Andrite a more capitalistically inclined country. Fortunately, he failed in his endeavors when the rebel groups lost the civil war. Until his trial, Delfino will reside in the Rehabilitation Centre for Criminals. |

BREAKING NEWS The separate governments of The Helgara Collective and The Holy Empire of Andrite have made an agreement to stick together during these tense and troubled times. To combat against the aggression occurring between the other countries, Andrite and Helgara have formed an alliance. The alliance was created earlier today and was forged by President Kevedaris and the Head of State Secretary Karen. In the alliance, Andrite and Helgara have agreed to support each other during times of war by opening their country to refugees from the other and training their militaries together. |
