Queen Mara II Arrested - General Pid to Lead the Way to a Brighter Future Chellytopians, after what has been one of our most challenging decades, I am pleased to announce that Queen Mara II is now safely in custody awaiting a decision for her future. What is certain is her crude, selfish and oppressive leadership has been brought to an end. I am not going to lie, Chellytopia is in a grave place at the moment. But do not fear. I believe we can rebuild this nation into the great country that our ancestors enjoyed. It's not going to be an easy journey, but then again when have Chellytopians ever let hard graft stop them. For the time being I am going to serve as our leader - whilst we take stock, dream big and start to rebuild our nation. What we are not going to do is panic and rush into decisions. Therefore I ask you to continue life as normal for the moment. Continue to go to work, care for your family and serve your community. Our hope is that quickly you will start to feel the benefit of our new situation and in time take part in consultations about our future. I know many of you will have questions and I promise you that I am working hard to provide those answers. But I do ask for your patience. I am sure you will appreciate thought-through answers to yours and your children's futures. Not the reactionary and emotional decision making we have had to suffer for far to long. Our first two priorities are going to be: 1. to fully remove Queen Mara from our Nation 2. to re-establish the church. I want to firmly draw a line under our past and restore the moral backbone of our country, which the Queen rashly did away with following a petty dispute. Our aim moving forward is to continue to be open and transparent, so please keep following our official communications. Until next time. God bless, General Pid

Chellytopia's Government Starts to Form Work has begun to form the first Government for Chellytopia. This will be called the Chamber of Governance. Our long-term hope is to bring in an elected democratic Government, however until our nation has built strong foundations to support it's future growth I have put forward a number of key individuals to serve as ministers. These are trusted and faithful colleagues of mine. They have my total confidence that they have what it takes to rebuild our nation. Here is your interim Government Commander-in-Chief: General Ryan Pid Chief of Staff: Lieutenant General Pippa Oliver Head of Home Office: Brigadier Michael Hoover Head of Foreign Affairs: Brigadier Craig Wilson For Pipper Oliver, today was a double honour as she was also promoted to the military rank of Lieutenant General in recognition of her sterling work during the overthrow of Queen Mara II. I would like to also personally recognise that we would not be where we are today, if it was not for the incredible hard-work Pippa puts in behind the scenes to serve this nation  The Chamber of Governance Passes it’s first Act At the first meeting of the Chamber we passed the “Permission to Rule Act”. This Act gives the Chamber’s Commander-in-Chief the power to pass Acts without consultation with the rest of the Chamber during times of emergency, like we find ourselves now. This extremely important piece of legislation will enable decisive leadership, quick decision-making and eradicate unnecessary bureaucracy.  Minimum Wage Introduced Under the power’s invested in me under this Act, the second law to be passed today was the introduction of a minimum wage of 10scratchings per hour. Many of you have gone far too long living off rations and I know some of you have never even been able to earn a scratching in your life under the monarchy. Today we put an end to this. Every Chellytopian who works, will earn. The final piece of legislation to be passed was an income tax rate of 40%. Our aim is to reduce the amount of income tax each Chellytopian pays as soon as possible. In our fairer society, where people are paid for their work, our hope is you will be pleased to contribute into the rebuilding of Chellytopia. Taxes will be used to fund the introduction of healthcare, education and a justice system – all things most of use have not experienced in our life-time.
