So having made a satellite map of Lakhzovia and thoroughly enjoyed doing so I've been wanting to make a satellite map for the whole of Mundus, nothing canon but just for fun.

I just wanted to get an idea of what the geography of different players nations is so that I can have a stab at making something a bit more representative than just my imagination.

If you want to help me out with this just give me either a description of the states geography or a rough map.

Nice idea if you have the skill. East Moreland I envisage in four zones, starting north and spreading south. You have the Alps, a stretch of wooded rolling hills, a flat central plain area and then coastal plains. Hope that makes sense, interested to see what you put together as it sounds cool.

Scoutland: super mountainous, especially the Hiasell mountain, which is the highest point in all of Epanastasia.

Shulkland: Has a lot of valleys and forested areas, otherwise, it's terrain is similar to that of Scoutland (which is why they're referred to as the twin states).

Alfston: Alfston has a few mountains carrying over from Scoutland's mountain range, but is otherwise speckled with flatlands and forested areas.

Tronite: very flat, lots of desert areas .

Livia: desert land carries over from Tronite, though there are a lot of streams and grass, in between the many cities. Livia is definitely the metropolitan state, I'd that counts for anything.

So time for an update!

So far I have been focusing mostly on the region around the Mhorish sea as this is where the majority of nations who gave me geographical info were located. I have made each nations geographical map and started filling in the gaps. Obviously for those who haven't given me any details about what their nations geography is like I have had to use a little bit of guesswork and imagination, if you would like your nation changed on the map just let me know the details and I'll sort it out.

Dauntel, when it reappears, is tropical round the edges, but with ice-capped mountains along the spine if the island.

Also, it does look good :)

Fairview Islands

Hello,

The Fairview Islands Northernmost island is mostly heavily forested especially in the center. The coasts around the island are flat.

The island underneath is made of several lakes but is also forested. The northern half of this island is densely forested. The center is made up of a mountain range that stretches from just above the southern tip to the center. The lakes will be a minor one on the western part of the island and the other lake will be on the eastern peninsula.

The two islands underneath are just grassland both with a small mountain range in the center of them.

The island under this one is heavily covered in rivers. The four major ones flow east to north, north to west. West to south, and south to north. This island is relatively flat with serveral hills in the north.

Lastly, the southernmost island. This island has a mountain range that is from north to south in the center of the island. The land surrounding the mountain range is forested, but not so heavily. The coasts are flat.

The waters surrounding the coasts of my islands are the color of the Caribbean islands. You know, that light sky blue color?

Can you put something like this and this in Chelt? Though I can understand if you'll have issue fitting something like that in there.

Also, I recommend you put mid ocean ridges roughly where the red lines on the image below are so that Mundus can make tectonic sense.

Something odd's happened to mainland Tytor and Floodwater seems to have disappeared...

In case you're still making edits to this, I've imagined the following when it comes to physical geography:
Northmark (northernmost province): Rolling plains, with hills in the northeast.
East Crownlands (directly south of above): Plains, with mountains in the east and forests in the south.
West Crownlands (westernmost province): Coastal plains, inland is more forested.
Decapolis (south of East Crownlands): As above, with mountains in the east.
Southmark (southwest of Decapolis): Heavily forested, with some hills and isolated mountains in the south.
Floodwater (island in the Sea of Kyne): Tropical, similar to the Bahamas or Jamaica.

Azukishima Prefecture: Japan-like, if that makes sense. If it helps the map in my Factbook has most cities and towns listed.
Kavania, Estvua and Austrana Prefectures: I always imagined them to be similar to Pennsylvania, with a good amount of gentle hills, woods, kind of rural but with some big cities.
Ecskana, Arovium Prefectures: Perhaps a mirror of Tytor's provinces near these ones would make the most sense?

Sorry for jumping on-board late, I've noticed this and it is some remarkable work. ^_^

This is fantastic stuff Astetoth, well done. For Samsarah, the westernmost regions should be jungle, moving west over W99 (I'm using the plots of land from the template map). Aside from a strip of deforested land along the coast, W98 and W99 should be jungle.

Moving east along the coast, the jungle fades off into a plateau which spans across much of W97 and W95. The westernmost areas of W95 begin to become mountainous; mountains which rise gradually all the way to the western border up to an average of around 12,000f/3,658m elevation. Anything in the ballpark is fine.

W96 should join onto all of this as smoothly as possible. Immediately south of the jungle regions of the northeast should be a small strip of savanna, but the rest of W96 is dominated by flat grasslands.

A major, Ganges-esque river runs down from the top of the western mountains and travels through W94, W95, W97, W98 before hooking north and meeting the sea in W99.

Hopefully this isn't too complicated, and all of these are approximations so I'll be happy with anything that approaches this.

Don't think I've given Achkaerin's yet.

Essentially the larger island is fertile land with a small mountain range towards the centre that extends to the north eastern edge, effectively cutting the island in two on a diagonal.

Meridian Island (where QCMB is) is essentially hills and flat

Also I should point out the existence of a new island addition to the map that went on about two or three updates ago (long story) on the RP map is in the centre of the Great Northern Ocean I call it Forthaven Island- that's a winter style arctic island.

Akkad has a very tropical climate, think Peru.

Korion Coast has flat coastal Provinces including the inner coast with a tall mountain range running up the western border of Antaria meeting the province of Xaiden which is basically all all tall and mountainous right to the cliffs of it's eastern coast

The antarian mountain range turns westward along the top of the Peraden and Inderson before heading north West along the Sevenden Ortavia Borders

It should basically look like a big ball of mountain with a tail that follows the internal borders south then west then north westerley

Climate: Cold the mountains are cold, the east coast is cold due to the winds coming from the north east Ortavia is cool nut fertile thanks to the protection of the mountains from the winds

The UPA are made up entirely of a mountain range, with most industry in the center where there's a large valley. The northernmost province is entirely mountainous, however. Basically the edges are mountain, and the middle bits are valley. On a sattelite map, it's likely you wouldn't see the center through the smog, however. It'd just be a little black spot.

Protoa looks at best like Germany. Has plains and wooded areas to the west and to the east and north east is more mountainous.

Mind making Sparta a bit more humid, like Florida? Also I'd like for the southeastern tip to be a bit colder, with some mountains.
