![]() Name: Dr Danny Byrne Nationality: Achkaerinese Position: Achkaerin Chief Medical Officer(outgoing)/Head of Medical Division at Riviere Corporation Experience: One of Achkaerin's best doctors and certainly one of the most experienced, Danny Byrne started out started out like most doctors do, by learning fast on his feet on a hospital ward, his contract with Riviere Corporation's Medical Division came early in his career allowing him to establish the protocols and procedures of that division as it operates today. It has also allowed him the opportunity to work on pioneering medical projects most recently the Gene Aware project which he led the clinical trials for alongside its creator Dr Tammy Axon. His most notable successes include re-organizing the emergency department at the Royal Leonaise hospital, something he refers to as his consultant 'baptism of fire' over the course of six years there he took that department from one of the worst to one of the country's leading Emergency Departments. Other successes during this time of his career include his innovative approach to problem solving in surgical cases, applying the theory of one idea to the practice in another area with quite successful results. His greatest success however is that despite being the Achkaerin Chief Medical Officer he still operates as a consultant four days a week and during his tenure as Chief Medical Officer he has overhauled the training program's for medical professionals leading to lower mortality rates and improvements in professional conduct, patient welfare and ultimately better medical treatment for the patient. |
