OOC- I believe there's a slight clerical error as to the actual recommendation here. If we are saying that it is just the three conditions then Phase two shall only be reached following 2/3 being fulfilled, if more conditions are added (and that's if the GA has any it wishes to be considered for addition) then that number shall vary. It just depends on whether this is a straight vote or a debate. And can I remind people that Dave has agreed that this is set time wise between the issuing of the East Moreland ultimatum and the beginning of Operation Hamlet. So please bear in mind that votes cast should consider what the Borland situation was at that point specifically that we have Kyle Barren and cohorts in government there- this is something that may change depending on what Dave plans for Hamlet. |

![]() Cheryl Holmes, Lead General Assembly Delegate "The recommendation of the Security Council is a worthwhile one in that it does the same thing whether we choose to admit Borland or not- it spells out the issues that must be resolved. We must be clear that this is now an admissions vote so when we say 'No' to this application we say it with the reason that we as the General Assembly of the CTO accept that Borland is eligible to join the CTO, due to meeting the criteria as laid out, but we do not believe at this time that the Principality of Northern Borland should be admitted to the CTO this is not for reasons of eligibility but based on morality. This fact should deter any further Borland application until such time as there is either one heck of a shift in the morality of this organisations member states or there is a change of circumstances in the Principality itself, the latter being much more likely than the former because let's face it regardless of anything that may happen the land that constitutes the Principality will remain and it will still be stuck in limbo until such time as the criteria which both this organisation and the Borlanders now know is met. Achkaerin therefore votes against Borland's admission to this organisation." |

"The Kingdom of Tytor votes nay." (OOC: Wow... the Security Council makes a recommendation, and then all three members vote against it. Hooray for international geopolitics.) |

"I feel like this is an odd game being played by Achkaerin here, when all that needed to be done was for the Security Council to oppose Borland's membership from the start, but whatever," the Dartfordian delegate mumbled, repeatedly pressing the 'No' button on his desk as it fed a satisfying 'ping' noise through his headphones.

"You know, insider politics and stuff" the South Hills delegate confirmed, before repeatedly pushing his 'NAY' button in unison with the Dartfordian one, creating a rhythmic spam of ping-ping-ping |

Yuriko glanced over to her colleagues from Dartfordia and South Hills and, upon noticing the fun they were having, decided to join in. She pressed her 'NAY' button to the Super Mario tune, hoping the other two would quickly catch on. Needless to say, this would be her easiest day at work by far, and she aimed to take full advantage of that.

OOC - The vote having been open the time I usually allow I'm calling it a resounding NAY. Birgit looked around the room and then slammed her hand on the table bringing an end to the chaos. "This is not an episode of Mundus Got Talent.......more importantly where the hell did you three get those buzzers from, a simple stating of your point of view would be more appropriate, remember this is a prestigious international organisation." she got up and made her way first to the Dartfordian delegate, then the South Hills one, she made her way over to Yuriko waited for Super Mario to finish shook her head in disappointment and then took away the buzzer, quiet where they'd been finding them, perhaps the Rokkenjiman's had a stall selling buzzers outside or something. She sat back down with them in front of her, "Now children if we're all done I call this debate to a close, those wishing their buzzers returned I expect a note from your mothers." |
