I applaud Premier Vaju's ability to manipulate, turning Mundus against the Republic. She has run to tattle to the international policing forces, but as we all remember from childhood, the tattle often lies to get their way. Toddler tactics will not work against Nova Ardia, and she will have to try harder. The international response is woefully misguided, having only listened to the webs of stories told by Ms. Vaju. Vienra is part of the Nova Republic by custom and tradition. The redrawing of the border between Ionian and Ardia after the Great War favored the Ionians and unjustly separated the latin people. But a few days ago, our latin brothers and sister welcomed us with open arms. They cheered as their Legionaries paraded down the city of this great latin city. Unfortunately, not all felt this way. A fair opinion, we had upset the balance of their lives, but we were willing to work to lessen their fears, to work towards a united future. But Premier Vaju could not stand to see this, for the failures of her government to be rectified. So the Confederate government now organizes, funds, and supplies a Vienra insurgency. We have caught off the Ionian supply lines, but I fear these calls to open Vienra to aid is nothing more than a ruse to smuggle in more weapons for the insurgences. As such, I can not accept such a request.

Despite our early victories, the insurgency has proven to be far more resourceful than I first anticipated. I worry for the lives of the innocent civilians now being targeted by these terrorists in their attempts to create such fear that the provisional gives into their demands and that the insurgency will only get more desperate and bold as time passes. As such I ask Consul Nelius to approve my request for an increase of soldier in Vienra until the insurgency is defeated. As for the rest of Mundus, perhaps it is too naive, but I ask that nations get all the facts before continuing down this path of sanctions and condemnation.
