Thomas Moore reviewed the plans for the Mundus Youth Assembly. "If I may," he began, "should we not require a...certain method of election? I would be concerned about some member's individual choices for...their representative."

Jacob Longe stood, "In much the same way we permit the CTO membership to appoint their own representative then we must be free to do the same here. My greatest concern is over age limits, I would personally put the age limit as "must not have celebrated their 21st birthday" my reasoning being that until 21 most people have not finished their university degree and are still engaging in student politics, as such these are the people we wish to recruit. The previous secretary general mentioned using our own Darren Sandler as part of a process to create this, that young man is close to his 21st birthday and to rule out a young committted future leader of our nation is a travesty. Furthermore if we are giving a 3 years Presidency we need to increase the age limit still futrther, imagine a situation where a 19 year old is named president, they would be past 22 when their term ends."

"I'm off a mind with Sir Jacob." Cheryl Holmes said "We trust the member state governments to appoint those of us that sit as delegates in this chamber, we have to trust them to do the same for this. I agree with Sir Jacob's proposal on age limits for Youth Assembly members. I also think that we can get around the issue of the Youth President's age by suggesting that they have to be under the age limit when they are elected."
