  Premiere Lum Bolin Comrades, our dear and glorious leader has seen fit to appoint a new First Minister, Lum Bolin. His proficiency as the Lead Director at the Nation Banking Committee is well noted in senior party circles, and his prudence in Government spending has been seen as one of the main reasons for the new control of the inflationary pressure put on our dear and glorious nation by international capitalism and colonialism. Comrade Bolin, and his new office, have already seen fit to announce a five step plan for the coming year. 1, Greater diplomatic ties within the family of nations. 2, Investment in Agriculture, including modernisation of rice and soya farming. 3, To invest in new technology to create a better and more stable energy supply for all citizens. 4, To pass laws to bring the traditions and cultures of the many ethnic groups into line with the nation at large. 5, To begin a new program of anti-corruption, especially in the judiciary and local committee level. The response from the party has been extremely positive with this announcement and at several stages during the reading of the new five step plan impromptu applause was heard from the people in the streets outside. Reports that the local militia were called to contain this rousing support are utterly false and were spread by foreign delegates who have all been expelled from Ander Teroto. |

Arrests made:- Comrades, today dawn raids and arrests were made on members of the prohibited religions of Helus and Grasa. All members of these groups have had their children removed for fear of spreading the infectious ideas to them.  Comrade Woon Fai, the General Secretary of the Party, was said to have ordered the arrest as he was becoming concerned with the undue influence of external forces gaining a foothold here in Ander Teroto. It has long been known that these groups were organised here in Ander Teroto but until now the state had only taken to observing them; this latest action has been welcomed by the National Committee, whom the majority had felt that these groups posed a threat to national security and were not able to function within the state in their current form. It has not been confirmed as of yet, but it is believed that some 1500 people have been arrested and sent to re-education camps until seen fit for release. Foreign policy As promised by the newly appointed First Minister, Lum Bolin, diplomatic ties have been formally agreed with the nations of the Galiza and Selurong, with both agreeing to embassies being opened in their respective nations capitals. These first steps in diplomacy are crucial in allowing Ander Teroto to ingratiate herself within the family of nations, and to allow the Republic to represent herself on the world stage. In other related news, negotiations are about to start with Free Temcluse on beginning diplomatic relations comparable to the ones negotiated with Galiza and Selurong. World Socialism  Comrades, world socialism is spreading, the long fought war in Selurong rages, as the people there vent their frustration at the lack of amenities and control of the means of production. Round Up:- Diplomacy:- Comrades, the peoples of Helvetica and The Galician Union have welcomed us, as we welcome them. Our newly established embassies in both nations capitals have opened. The shared goals of friendship will see us through, regardless of any internal strife faced by partner nations. A fine building has been selected for the Galician Union to use as her embassy here in Sunyong:  The state has also chosen a suitable building for Helvetica:  We note at The Epoch Times the steadfast support The Galician Union has shown us by protecting our embassy from the ruffians that beset it. And this point, we are sure, is not lost on our Foreign Ministry, although no comment has been made. No reason was given in the announcement but it is thought that the continuing oppression of the people there, who are insultingly called "Plebs" is starting to cause consternation on the National Committee. This newspaper considers the so-called "Patriarchs" as nothing short of monsters, enslaving the vast majority of the population under the guise of religion. The means of production are tightly controlled by an unelected monarch, and her friends, who arrogantly allows herself to be feted as a Goddess. It is of great importance to this nation that Lodja and her medieval concepts be kept at arm's length.  As this diplomatic move unfolds, the General Secretary of the National Committee has ordered his brother, Dieu Fai, to the Royal Court in Lodja, to speak up on our behalf. The veteran of the revolution is a fine man, with fine upstanding values and we believe he will make a perfect plenipotentiary for Ander Teroto in the cesspool of vice that is Lodja. Round Up:- Shameful:- Disgraceful, militaristic, imperialistic and dangerous. These are just some of the words that this newspaper chooses to use when discussing East Moreland. The passage of a huge ship of war towards Ander Teroto cannot be tolerated. It is a direct provocation and intended to cow Ander Teroto into submission. Why else would they do it? Rest assured Comrades, the military might of The People's Republic stands ready to defend herself from this aggression. The National Committee has already announced that they will be drawing up plans to counter this attack on our sovereignty. Force will be met with force! The office of the President has announced that they will be releasing a statement in due course, we are looking forward to reading it!! Sport:- The coming Mundus Cup will see Ander Teroto enter for the first time ever after a mere technicality of the actual qualifying nation team aircraft crashing to the ground after beating Ander Teroto 0-1 in Sunyong... We still mourn for them Comrades, we still mourn.. The team representing Ander Teroto will be made up entirely of heroes of our great nation, with all coming from the armed forces. It is true comrades, in qualifying, we had some difficulties with discipline, but we believe at this newspaper that Football is a contact sport, and if the referee insists on getting in the way of challenges for the ball then broken limbs is to be expected, is it not? And as an aside, we hope the referee from Free Temcluse makes a full and speedy recovery...  Sunyong FM Track Comrades and sports fans, Formula Mundus is coming to Ander Teroto. With our new Prime Minister promising a more open outlook on the world we have the new and the wonderful coming to Ander Teroto. The new track, being built as we go to press, will be ready for next season's races and we cannot wait to experience the thrill of the race. Expected popularity of the race will have to bring about a limited relaxation of the traveller restrictions but it will not be too difficult we hope to allow all the technical staff of all the teams to enter the country. Of course, for the first couple of years, it will not be possible to allow ordinary travelling fans to come to Ander Teroto for security fears but I am sure it will be fine sometime in the future... Along with a new track will be a new team, with the national aerospace centre testing various designs.  The new team is yet to be named but it is expected to be funded by the military, most probably the Navy or Airforce with the driver, or drivers, being selected from the pool of pilots from both services. Go team! In brief:- The brave fishermen of the outlying islands today announced that they have had a bumper catch, with 8 Humpback Whales being caught from a single pod of 20. Although 3 of them were juvenile it is hoped that the community there will have the required amount to meet their expected national quota. We wish them well Comrades, we wish them well... And lastly, National Furnaces 3 and 4 came back online today after being held in reserve for 10 years. This incredible news can only mean one thing! Construction! So, as according to standing rule of the National Committee #14678543 can all reserved steel and furnace works in the Sunyong prefecture, that have not already been placed, please report to National Furnaces 3 and 4 for the works lottery and assigning detail.  Ander Teroto is ready!  Comrades, Ander Teroto is ready to conquer the world! The Mundus Cup is nearly upon us, and the pride of Ander Teroto is being carried in the hearts and minds of the national football team. Brave, sturdy and ready to defend the sporting honour of our nation with them into foreign lands and to bring the Mundus Cup home. Preparations are complete and the manager, Colonel Ty Qui Bao has assured his superior officers and the National Committee that the cup will be on parade in Sunyong at the end of the tournament. The nation watches on and awaits glory! Captain of the team, Sgt Trang Trong Dac Kien and the rest of his teammates have been in training with the Monks of the Central Highlands, and what is lost in technique will be more than made up with fitness and sheer physical prowess. With the whole team coming from the ranks of our glorious military, double promotion has been promised to anyone who scores a goal at the tournament, and for the Captain and Manager, the prize of a seat on the National Committee is at stake! Oh the magnificent glory that awaits you Comrades! Other news:- There has been idle speculation today from the shameful international press that Ander Teroto is building a super weapon. We laughed aloud in the main office when we heard this. Ander Teroto is a peace loving nation with no warlike intentions with anyone. Having suffered under the yoke of the Helveticans for years, we know more than most the pain of having your lands and rights torn from you. An invasion could not be further from the minds of our beloved leaders. This idle speculation was caused by the evil known as the world wide web. It's insidious reach will cloud your judgement Comrades, resist the temptations of this evil. The Party has made its point so well on this matter. Remember, if you know anyone who owns an internet communications device it is imperative, no, it is your duty, to tell your local Party officials immediately. The usual reward of relief from labour upon discovery of the device still stands in this matter. You are helping the poor miscreants who own them, they need help, it is like a drug and is used by enemies of the state to try to bring civil unrest to our beloved nation.  Diplomatic News:- His Excellency, Lum Bolin, is currently at the first birthday celebrations of a Princess of Achkaerin. as befitting a first birthday gift our Glorious leader has seen fit to bestow long-life on the young princess Astrid by giving Red Turtles from the national collection.  NATIONAL SHAME:- Comrades! To err from the natural course of things is to forfeit your rights. This week our former oppressors agreed after we made many threats, to pass back to us the criminals who had left our beloved nation so that they could sexually service another! And, the western foreign devils also delivered unto us the masterminds who contrived to circumvent our protective stance for the people, by organising them to be able to leave.  This publication supports our government in the summary execution of all those returned to Ander Teroto. Internal security allowed one of our journalists to see justice being done. It was swift and with mercy, taking only one bullet per person, in turn. Family members were allowed to attend to watch the execution so that they can return home and tell everyone what occurs when you try to leave without permission. Comrades, these laws are there to protect you from the evils of the world, and it is you who has forced these acts on your parent. These designs will not be available to anyone else, and will not be put on sale for profit. Anyone who wishes to own a replica of one of these shirts may get one -while stocks last- from their local Party offices.   INTERNATIONAL DIPLMACY:- Comrades, the might of the Rokkenjima empire has not waned, they are truly the master of all they survey. They say they act in peace, yet use archaic feudal methods to take land. Arstotzka, KaiserAdolf and all the other nations that broke away from the CTO are laughable in their attempts to try to create a new world order. They act without unity, they act with selfishness and they have no guile. Not once were the people of Somerset asked their opinion on the matter and the excuse of marriage was used to take land from a sovereign nation. We know what it is like to have your rights torn from you, as Helvetica once did to us. We would like to send this quote to those afraid of confrontation.
