OOC Note:- this is state controlled media The Number One News Sources For Tarranova Military Improvement  Amid heightening military activity, plans have been announced to re-organize the Army into select Legions, and that a new training regime will ensure high attrition rates for recruits but only let the most mentally, and physically tough through. This comes after the army underwent a makeover and equipment detail overhaul. A total of over 300,000 soldiers and counting have been ejected from the forces and stricter attention to detail in combat effectiveness has been given. "These new troops will be deemed Stormtroopers." The Ministry of Defense stated. "The standards for this new breed of Tarranovan infantry are extremely high and though we have seen a dramatic decrease in numbers due to this no-tolerance discrimination, we make up for it with training and equipment. These Stormtrooper Legions will be revered across Ardia for their discipline and constitution in battle. We do not expect many of them to be ready for the upcoming front in Nova Ardia, but they can be easily swept aside by the current sufficient means." In addition the Tarranovan Coast Guard has been disbanded and absorbed by the newly formed Naval Force, it's first goal: Build up a proper fleet. The first project will be the Dread Class Destroyer(picture above), which will enter into service phases for he development of an advanced radar and defense system. This system, the Defense Ministry informs us, will be able to track and destroy multiple targets simultaneously, such as fighters, missiles and UAVs. This marks Tarranova's first expeditionary naval force and the development of the Dread Class Destroyer marks the creation of a true contestant on the waters across Mundus. They are pictured giving a Tarranovan Imperial Salute(the angle can be perceived as palm down), with Unasson the First pictured with a sword close to his heart and Savior Paul on the other side of the Ustsea River. "The two in themselves represent old and new, as well as the two pivotal figures to the Orthodox Cult. Without Paul, the Ardian Empire would have washed over the Merchant States with their unholy ideology. Because of Paul, we are free." The Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For Tarranova Infrastructure Overhaul to Boost the Domestic Economy  The Economic Chancellery announced a detailed manifesto which outlines a 4 year plan to increase the productive output of the homeborn economy. "We must protect our people in order for them to evolve independently, free from foreign pandering." Chancellor Ardelus explains. "We, like any other nation, wishes to continue a consensual and common market, not one where out people are subject to foreign demands. Under the former system of the Enclave League our domestic sector was unable to move forward being overwhelmed by trickle down free trade. However with subsidies and proper allocation of economic priority we will promote the rise of domestic business and production." This has started with a massive government initiative to build up the country's infrastructure and modernize many parts of the country, as well as promoting hikes in manufacturing. This huge shift to infrastructure and transportation priority is estimated to boost economic prosperity and self reliance. This includes due developments in healthcare and education, as well as new initiatives that create millions of new technical jobs for the country. In addition, a deal that the Economic Chancellery says is on "Equal and beneficial consensus." with the Neush-Bugatti Consortium from Heyra to construct factories, they have invited a sub-company as well. This comes after the government invested heavily in Crédit Princier for reserves, and is subsidizing several domestic manufacturing companies to invest in shares. The government announces the continuation of this policy for all over Mundus. Grand Vicar Announces Religious Reform Amid Unrest  The Grand Vicar has announced a friendlier policy in regards to religion. "An edict has passed by the Lord Ministry that those who are of different religions can live freely in Tarranova but to be in the Tarranovan Armed Forces of Helus, they must be a born Helusite." this new policy change comes after mass protest across the nation in the wake of 'Christianphobia'. The majority of the Tarranovan population is found to be Helusite and follow the Orthodox Cult closely, but detest the xenophobic policy of the Grand Vicar. Rayen Hunalya apologized but justified the expulsion of millions by saying, "It was phase to cleanse Tarranova. We had no intention to keep people locked up or out of the country. But Nova Ardia endorsed terror attacks against us, therefore in the rather concealed and blurred logic of the Cult, the policy continued." In fact, many blame this policy as the reason for Protestant and Catholic terror attacks on 10/7. But still, the majority of the population, while believing the in the Cult and theocracy, also believes any other person can live in the country. Under certain conditions however, those who are not Helusites are not eligible for benefits or can serve in the armed forces. Other limitations are minor, such as those involving the state. Those of other religions can also not infringe on the public's well-being with their religious rhetoric or protest, anything that detest Helus is not allowed. Tarranovan Airforce Successful Bombing Campaign so far  A total of 322 Tarranovan soldiers have been killed on day 4 of the war with Nova Ardia. The military says it has been performing extensive air operations to gain air superiority over specific areas, eliminating key points of Nova Ardia, mainly communications and known logistics. It's estimated by the Defense Chancellery that over 3,219 Nova Ardian soldiers have been killed in the bombings and over 8,000 wounded, as ruthless bombings continue to dissolve Nova Ardian resistance. "The Nova Ardians have put up a contested air war, but we have so far been successful in pushing daylight and night stealth bombing runs." the Defense Chancellery reports. Artillery has been going both ways on the border, being responsible for most of the damage on the border resulting in over 3,000 wounded Tarranovan soldiers. It's only a matter of time however before ground forces begin what they call a Lightning Blitz into Nova Ardia, as their forces begin to dissipate and their assets strained by the intensive 4, going on five day air campaign. The Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For Tarranova Emperor and Empress Announce Pregnancy   Emperor James and Empress Su Mai The Tarranovan Imperial household announced today that Empress Su Mai is pregnant and a true heir to the throne will be born to succeed James Septim. "This is a glorious day." Grand Vicar Rayen Hunalya commented. "Never before have Tarranova had such a successful and holy monarch, Helus smiles heavenly upon James and his deeds." Su Mai, announced the pregnancy on social media through Reddit. Not only is Su Mai Septim pregnant, but she is indeed a Redditor. A name has not been decided, a name which is expected to be gifted by the Orthodox Cult based on which stars the child will be born on. The due date predicts the child will be born under the stars of Marissa, the same vows Su Mai and James were married by. The Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For Tarranova Emperor Successfully Negotiates the Release of Helusites From Ander Teroto  Despite recent unruly, and a childish temper tantrum thrown by East Moreland upon their futile state attempts to de-legitamize our Emperor, James Septim continues to work under the will and greatness of the Orthodox Cult. Just recently, Emperor James negotiated the release of over 1500 Helsites from Ander Teroto, who were forced into concentration camps for re-education an inevitably, execution. "King David and Skye Maddix's efforts were deplorable." the Emperor announced. "East Moreland stood by and shrugged their shoulder, willing to let Helusites be discriminated and killed by another regime on the other side of the world. It's unfortunate that the Empire needs to pick up the slack and lack of piety the Holy Land has." The terms of the Helusite release were unconditional, and under fierce negotiation and diplomatic prowess, the prisoners were released in custody of the Imperial State. The lot, includes thousands of orphand child Helusites and some adults, its no doubt Ander Teroto 'converted' or executed many before hand. Despite this, the state pledges the families and children full support, as they arrive in Fransokyo and are due for a state dinner with the Emperor, Empress and Grand Vicar, an event which is to be held as a celebration and be televised on all public networks. |

Zavala anounced his campaign with the opening statements of, "I have served many government's, my intent has always been good under the premise of serving my homeland and people. From Marseilles[1], to Nova Ardia. To re-imagining our grand military. My intent has always been the people, democracy or not. I have had a long career, generalship is my core, but I need to submerge myself in full public service. And help the Overlord lead this nation as a cohesive piece." General Zavala Draco, says that his policy stands on the spectrum of traditionalism. As in, "Preserving the people's rights and personal independence, while having a strong central government that represents them. We need a moderate, strong government." Zavala proclaims. Many have rallied behind the oldened and seasoned General, who is admired as a fighter and humanitarian. He's running off the slogan, "Unity, Prosperity, Democracy", which has already gained significance across the nation. Zavala has no significant opposition, former candidate Hestia K'wint stepped down from the race to endorse Zavala in this surprise announcement. In opposition to the Imperial Household however, Zavala testifies that, "Ardians, who reside in the Nova Ardian states, should be allowed to vote in the election. In fact, they should be allowed to form their own states." There has been no response from the Crown so far, and constitutional deliberation is rumored to be ongoing. In these statement's, foreign news outlets are due to chew her statements up. Even Archvizier-Candidate, Zavala Draco has stated, "I' don't think the Regent-Overlord's statements were worded correctly. I say with the utmost respect for the the crown, that I think there is a disturbance to the effectiveness of the Imperial Household at the moment to lead the country." Grand Vicar Rayen Hunalya, stated that, "Su Mai is going through a pregnancy, at her age this is tough. I don't believe we saw the concise and reasonable Su Mai speak today." Many opponents however have called the statement's of the Grand Vicar and Zavala are sexist, with political commentator Ellia Jones combating, "Su Mai has always been a capable leader. However this happens to be one of her lowest points. Quite simply, if we look at her past Su Mai has been been able to individually woo just about her entire homeland, but she has not been able to do the same in Ardia as the people's monarch. Her head got to her, and she thought she could go off script to assert global authority. Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For Tarranova AAD Announces New Project  "Complications" The Ardian Aerospace Division(AAD) has made several announcements today. The first one was the continuation of the former space agency, TNASA's work on the Ardian made EM drive. Director of AAD Hanno Arkol stated this morning that, "The Ardian EM drive, now named the 'A1-EM'. Is still a few months away from actual testing. In addition, the testing will take place in the Imperial States, so we are requesting that the ASA(Achkaerin Space Agency) comply with our research standards in regards to our technology." If the ASA will not return the EM drive to the IAD, the Government has claimed the EM drive as stolen technology. "We are capable of constructing another one if compliance is not offered." Arkol addressed however. "But we wish full cooperation in our request." The current EM drive is in Achkaerin under the possession of the ASA. The new propulsion system is still under heavy development and the technology is still technically owned by NTASA, the AAD claims right to the EM drive as successors of NTASA. Meanwhile, AAD has announced the pursuit of researching reusable launch vehicles. "The project will introduce GPS guided rockets that when decoupled from the spacecraft, after doing it's job of getting the spacecraft into orbit, will turn around, safely re-enter the atmosphere and land at the launchpad. This will not only save money but provide more, accessible launches. We are looking to begin the testing of this new launch system." In cooperation with homegrown Ardian aerospace companies, like Leviathan and ProTek, AAD hopes to make launches more effecient and cheaper. The end goal of AAD is to have the remote rockets land back at their launch pads, be refueled and launched again with a new load. However AAD says, Director Arkol affirms, "We are a ways off from achieving thus level of efficiency" Rumors around the Space Industry indicate that AAD is about to outsource a great deal of their work, due to the strain in funding. It's still uncertain however, but AAD maintains that the effort to give the Imperial States space launch capability in such an efficient form could revolutionize the industry. Gripus Va'hepi Announces Candidacy For Archvizier  Liberal candidate Gripus Va'hepi has vowed to support progressive values for the new millennial generation. "These past years have marked great change." Va'hepi proclaims. "But this has been moderated, conservative change. Rather, an illusionary change to appease polls." Gripus Va'hepi is a self-described democratic socialist, pandering to the new age crowd in the Imperial States, advocating for, "The new wave of young people, please vote. This is your chance to actually make a difference. Don't hide away while the system implodes again." It is also known that Gripus Va'hepi is a strong critic of the Overlordship, specifically since Su Mai came into power saying, "Her history and stability is questionable. And I don't say that in favor of James Septim. However, I do believe in a strong monarch and when I am in office, I will serve, advise and cooperate the Regent-Overlord as best I can on behalf of all the Tarragonan and Ardian people." Gripus was a soldier that has recently served in Nova Ardia, being in one of the units that crossed the border first. He was discharged after the Battle of Cannae due to injury, but remained a strong advocate for peace. "There is no turning back, what is done is done." Gripus explains on the subject of the war. "Nova Ardia provoked an attack on us, and we reacted with war. It was perhaps a jump, but what else is a state to do in the face of this? In hindsight, diplomatic solutions would be preferable, but I do not fault my country's decision in the heat of an attack, mandated by a border fringe state. What we must do now, in regards to Nova Ardia, as they are now a part of the Imperial States, we give them the same rights and benefits that every citizen across the nation receives. We need to introduce, development for Tarranova too. Across the boards, no matter where you are in the Imperial States, people deserve universal healthcare, education and we need to prime our focus toward infrastructure in areas that need it." Currently, Gripus has captured 70% of the New Wave vote. While Zavala maintains an overall lead of 73%, this percentage has been at a steep decline when Zavala's words toward Su Mai were perceived as sexist. Lord Paladin Junia Tak Hemul, the ruler of the city of Amaden has requested the use of force to contain the virus. Archvizier Va'hepi has approved the addition of two battalions of reserve guards to the city and state to set up roadblocks and areas of containment within the city. In a national address, the Archvizier proclaimed Jakonsons, "An immediate danger to not only the Divine Hegemony, not only Ardia, but the world. We have seen over 7 million, nearing 8, pass away as a result of this highly infectious disease unleashed by what seems Helus himself. I am ordering an immediate, Archvizier edict which bypasses both the Archon-Regent and Enclave. Funding is redirected from infrastructure efforts in order to preserve and maintain what we have now. Military reserve spending is enacted and the Disease Control Administration is given necessary privileges to direct the necessary budget they need. I would like to be absolutely poignant in our analysis that Jakobsons poses an immediate danger to the entire nation. We need to find a cure, or a prescription which combats the disease by whatever means possible." The Orthodox Church of Helus has released statement's to the public as well, with the Grand Vicar, Rayen Hunalya stating, "This, is Helus' wrath for our recklessness in the past. Not in human history such an invincible virus has plagued us. We must accept our faults of violence and war, and accept that the may faced god of Helus is angry with our deeds. This goes for many conflicts and infections around the world, but primarily the Divine Hegemony. I am personally in support of the new Archvizier to lead the country in a more moral direction, and by the Code of Canley which is hard coded itself into our constitution." many have criticized the Grand Vicar however, stating that she herself is a hypocrite because it was the Orthodox Helus Church that endorsed and started the Tarra-Ardian war. Many still point to the attacks on 10/7, and maintain that the Tarra-Ardia war was necessary. Ardian scholar and head of the Ministry of Science, Tiastralk Manil, combats that "This isn't the wrath of Helus but the wrath of circumstance." and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vima Folvis, states, "The Tarra-Ardian war has brought a significant shift in Ardia, a proper unification and creation of the Divine Hegemony. We have indeed followed the Code of Canley by properly protecting ourselves when necessary." Lord Paladin Junia spoke bluntly however, detesting all points and just requesting a great amount of more support. The Lord Paladin has declared Mara "The Battleground for the spread of Jakonsons in the country and continent." She has been at the forefront of fighting the disease, however all efforts have been null, as the virus continues to spread rapidly. Minister Qorin Epilso from the Department of Public Health re-assures that work with Protoan sources is being carried out intently and that strides are being made for measures to combat the virus as-is and keep the population healthy. The DPH has ordered a nation mandate for sterile mask to be worn in areas of the country deemed affected. Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For the Divine Hegemony Tabyth Palace: The Heir is Lost  Press Secretary Eluva Pestek for the Royal Household had announced today, that the Archon-mother and regent, Su Mai, has had a miscarriage. This news comes after Su Mai Septim has been steering away from the press after a few days and Archon Emertius James Septim had refused to discuss the details on the Royal Household's well-being. Thousands have gathered outside the government quarters in Emerita Dawn and at Tabyth Palace. News comes that the Royal Household had known for several weeks now, but the information was kept disclosed. This news comes at the tail end of the year, within the vitality of Jakobsons Disease, after the Tarra-Ardian war. Tabyth Palace has refused further comment and has gone into isolation. Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For the Divine Hegemony "Jakobsons 100% Contained in the North" DPH Reports but says, "It's Somewhere in the Nova Ardian Region, Uncontained"  Quarantined Amaden The outbreak of Jakobsons has been contained in the city of Amaden, officials report, where up to 2 hospitals and central downtown has been isolated by stand military roadblocks and law enforcement. Since the last report of the disease, a total of 10,000 were infected, and an additional 12,000 have died from the disease within the city. Several cases have been reported within the military ranks as well, with a soldier returning to deployment in Nova Ardia reporting symptoms before going into active combat patrol. Several other soldiers of the Equesaev have reported the same days later, but had interacted with eastern Ardian locals. Since then, more cases have been reported in the deep east, while the virus is contained in the north. "A major outbreak" says Minister of the health department, Qorin Epilso says, "Will hit the Nova Ardian regions, that are wartorn and recovering. There are already reports of extremely unsanitary conditions which led to several hundred cases of cholera in the region, followed with high crimes and unsafe conditions to acquire food. Military personnel are also highly suseptable, forces operating in that areas are advised to be on high alert." General Zavala Draco, who is in command of forces in Nova Ardia after his lost election, announces intent to comply with the advisery. Stating, "The spread of Jakobsons is a threat to national security, and our security is our men and women on the ground fighting the surge of Heretic insurgency." DPH projects the virus to spread all over the region and potentially Ionia if the government does not respond swiftly. Archvizier Va'hepi has already forced through several edicts and has presented a plan to the Archon-Regent which has reportedly be approved. The plan includes the proposal to the United Enclave of a Universal Healthcare mandate and the implementation of a trans-city and trans-state high speed railway system. Many criticized the Archvizier, including conservative Representative Robin Kyrth saying, "Archvizier Va'hepi is using the mass hysteria of Jakobsons disease to push his own political agenda." The Archvizier has not addressed the criticism from the right wing, as new public transportation incentives and Universal Healthcare reach debate within the legislature. So far, 12 cases and 20 deaths in Nova Ardia have been recorded, with 4 soldiers sick and in intensive care. The DPH persist it's research in finding an appropriate combatant to the disease. General Zavala Draco announced the details himself in a press conference this morning on the status of counter-insurgency and crime efforts in the Nova Ardian region. "The insurgents, have begun relying on drug trade to fund their operations and are Christian and Catholic in origin." the Insurgent's reportedly call themselves, 'God's Army' or the 'Army of Jesus' -- claiming to be a liberation sect of protestants that wish to restore an independent and nationalist Ardian state. These insurgencies promote the downfall of Vahkist Cult of Helus in Ardia. In several propaganda videos published on the internet, Gods Army has called for attacks on the Divine Hegemony's capital. They have publicly slandered the Grand Vicar's image as well, releasing elaborate plans for her 'assassination'. Most recent, Gods Army/Army of Jesus have claimed that the Archon-Regent's miscarriage was because of her sins, and that their false god, Helus, has abandoned the Divine Hegemony. Specifically, they target Vahkist Helusites, shaming those who have converted to Vahkism in the Nova Ardia region. However, the crucifixion of the 10 soldiers is the first public display of violence besides rural fighting with security forces. "The soldiers were displayed right outside a Vahkist Missionary near the city of Roma." Zavala continues. "At night they were put up, and in the morning they were found. Their palms and ankles were nailed to the cross and they sat upright. Three of the ten soldiers were still alive when they were found. Two of the four female soldiers in the group had been brutally beaten and raped by the terrorist, one of the six male soldiers reported the same abuse. One of the surviving soldiers have a 'cahtolic cross' ingrained on his shoulder. The rest of the, non-surviving Equesaev soldiers were beaten to death." General Draco paused. Vicar Tribune The Number One News Sources For the Divine Hegemony Airforce Cancels Multi-Billion Dollar Fighter Project  What has been dubbed the Arrowhead by the DHAF has been cancelled today. Colonel Wichyster briefly stating the project was costing too much with a variety of undesirable outcomes. The order to close the project comes from the United Enclave itself, after the military budget and numbers were slashed severely to refocus state efforts on civilian infrastructure. General Zavala as stated that the decrease in funding is a mistake and will only, "Deteriorate the situation in Nova Ardia." One of the chief reasons for scrapping the Arrowhead, as it neared mass production, was it's swing wing design which proved to be highly unstable to the already forward swept wing design. The 5th generation attempt also was hardly stealthy, with a sufficient amount of it's armament needing to be carried by external hardpoints and unstable flight associated with transitioning the wing modes. The DHAF reports it's searching for a domestic contract in designing a fifth generation fighter. Colonel Wichyster hints it will be a 5th generation sealth alteration of the modernized Ardian Akiea MF-12 "Workhorse". |
