My faithful subjects, my fellow citizens, while the Ardian Empire is long dead and we are long free of its tyranny, a new dark alliance has risen in the past years that threatens to revisit imperialistic injustice upon the peoples of this world. A confederation of powers intent upon forcing their corrupt and misnamed values of justice upon other nations. Under such a banner this dark alliance has taken action time and again to abrogate the sovereignties of other states. Under this banner this dark alliance has taken action time and again to insult and undermine the cherished cultural values and traditions of other peoples. Under this banner this dark alliance has taken action time and again to violate the rights of peoples to live their lives free from oppression and immorality in order to instead impose their own alien values upon unwilling peoples. Of course, I speak of the likes of Achkaerin, of Rokkenjima, of East Moreland, and of Dartfordia. Together, these nations represent a new Ardian Empire for a new millennium, one ruled not from the seat of old but from the palace in Pyrettania. Theirs is a undeclared empire, but make no mistake, that is what it is. And now, as we in the upcoming days gather to celebrate and reaffirm our sovereign independence from the Ardian Empire, to our commitment to live our lives faithful and true, I declare that we Hechisians shall continue to do so for centuries yet to come. We shall stand by any nation that seeks to retain their sovereign independence and the sanctity of their cherished moral values from the unjust imposition of this new world empire.
