"Hello World! We hope we're coming in loud and clear, because we're thrilled to announce the launch of the Tunuk International News Network, T.I.N.N. for short. T.I.N.N. will broadcast globally in English, delivering news from home and from around the world. We urge you to stay tuned, as we'll soon begin reporting on the Tunuk view of global events and sharing exceptional domestic stories with the rest of the world!"

"Hello world and welcome back to T.I.N.N."

"Today our nation had the privilege of receiving a diplomatic delegation from Helvetica, consisting of King Hans-Adam II Von Waldensteyck and the Federal Councillor and President Doris Leuthard. This is the pair's first visit to Tunuk Illahee and this trip marks recently elected President Bernard Richard Shaw's first meeting with a foreign Head of State. An exact list of what is to be discussed has not been released, but seeing how this is their meeting, we are sure that there will be no shortage of topics."

"Today also marked the apparent end of the suspension of whaling, as the whaling ship Opoots quietly left port in Dulamish early this morning. The Opoots sailed into the Strait of Shaw and managed to successfully harpoon a whale before returning this evening. Whaling vessels haven't been active in Tunuk Illahee since 1999 when President Skowkale, under pressure from conservation groups, issued an Advisory Proclamation urging a temporary halt in the practice of whaling."

"News of the Opoots' actions have been met with protests from conservation groups who are asking government officials to stand up to what they call "an archaic practice". When our station got in touch with the owner of the Opoots and inquired as to whether or not he planned to continue after receiving such backlash, he said "I intend to [continue whaling], yes... Tunukmen have whaled for millennia and I don't see that ending anytime soon."

"Hello world and welcome to T.I.N.N."

"Our top stories today are:"

Helvetican talks end.
"The diplomatic delegation from Helvetica has departed from Tunuk Illahee. When questioned about the meeting, President Shaw stated that the talks were "very pleasant" and that they have "fostered a much greater sense of understanding between our two great nations" He added that he hoped that this would be the first of many meetings between Tunukmen and Helveticans, and the first of many meetings with other foreign heads of state. He also commented that he was keeping a close eye on negotiations for the the proposed "Council of Albion" saying, "It is in every nation's interest to pursue closer, more cordial relations with all nations in general and with its neighbors in particular. I have the greatest hope for the negotiations to find an agreeable platform that all parties included can rally behind". Negotiations are currently being held on Tar Island in Lodja. Representing Tunuk Illahee at these talks is George Squaxin, Foreign Minister and past aide to former President Skowkale."

Whaling in the Strait of Shaw continues, expands.
"Despite ongoing protests by conservation groups, the Opoots has continued to hunt whales in the Strait of Shaw and just today, perhaps inspired by the apparent success of, and lack of actions taken against, the Opoots, two more formerly decommissioned whaling vessels, the Kahkah and the Chakchak, have also been spotted operating in the Strait of Shaw. The Kahkah and the Chakchak both belong to Kloshe Pish Industries, the largest fishing company in the nation. The CEO of Kloshe Pish Industries was unwilling to agree to an interview, but it's very possible this could be the beginning of a complete restoration of Kolshe Pish Industries' entire whaling fleet. It is also pertinent to note that for the first time in over a decade, various fresh cuts of whale meat and other byproducts are available in supermarkets around the country. Conservation groups have vowed to boycott any chain of stores that begins selling whale products, but as of now it is unclear whether or not this will do anything to dissuade businesses."
