  ARDIA TODAY Navy Invest in Coastal Defense  The Navies Sea-Basd X-band Radar The Divine Hegemony Naval Command announced today that the navy is introducing one of a kind sea based land defense platforms nicknamed 'Bee-Hive'. "The Bee-Hive will be a floating, self-propelled, mobile active electronically scanned array early-warning radar station designed to operate in high winds and heavy seas." the defense ministry announces. "It's active radar detection will be two-thousand kilometers, it will be armed with anti-missile and defence systems for potential deep sea deployment." The new radar system will work in conjunction with long range land to sea anti-ship missiles, the radar can actively track thousands of ships, or potential missiles and shells. The navy announces it's intent for the Bee-Hive to built with one or two attached helicopter pads armed with missiles for a potential strike range of 1,200 kilometers. This works alongside air defense as well. The radar's purpose is defense from threats in the Krimeon and to quote the Naval Academy, "Better grasp piracy before it grows." The Bee-Hive will be deployed in the middle of the Krimeon for an extended test run within the month. The navy warns potential missile test, only fired at mock targets to test the platforms missile defense. Large Oil Deposit Discovered in the Escarion Sea  Lots of Sea News this week The Achaerinese CORAL research station in the Escarion Sea gave findings of a large oil deposit to the Orthodox Church of Helus when they were in power, before democratization. These documents were lost in the heat of the Tarra-Ardian War, however today these resurfaced and were made public by the Ministry of economics. General Zavala Draco Seizes Control of Nova Ardia! Army Refuses Retaliation! General Draco General Zavala and his forces have proclaimed control of Nova Ardia, for 2 days his forces have swarmed the Nova Ardian provinces in mass and today he declares the 'Ardian Republic' under his helm. Aided by factions within the Paladins Guild, the General stated in a speech to the entire nation, "The Vahkist Church is corrupt. The Diocesan, Rayen Hunalya, has led this nation blinded by unrealistic ambitions of total domination over the continent and the Archvizier has been incompetent at best. The nation is divided, yet through brutality and manipulation Rayen Hunalya and an undue foreigner, Su Mai 'Septim' control the government and continue to undermine ethnic and cultural autonomy." The Order of Paladins Head Master Hyta Jok, has also called upon the Paladins to publicly reject the commands of the Vahkist Church and Archon-Regent. With the message, "Diocesan Hunalya is no commander of mine." "We need to uphold order across the land, as we were designed to do." Head Master Paladin, Hyta Jok announced. The Paladins Guild has reportedly taken control of many government buildings in the capital and have secret various, former state capitals. This move comes after ethnic and political tensions has risen dramatically across the nation, in the face of the rigid and authoritarian liberal policy across the nation, spearheaded by the Archvizier, Gripus Va'hepi. This is after recent anonymous tips to various news media that the election results were somewhat skewed by unknown sources within the country, at the time. This has sparked public outrage towards Rayen Hunalya, who is blamed for tweaking election results against the Zavala's favor. The reasoning behind this is unknown but recent leaked emails by Indyleaks suggest a variety of state secrets Zavala was prone to expose. This political fallout has turned public opinion heavily in favor to the Paladins, who are supporting Zavala in is declaration of an independent state in Nova Ardia. As of now the Order of Paladins is proclaiming total authority over the government, and has promoted other states to leave that authority by secession. "The borders need to be drawn." Head Master Hyta Jok explains. "We cannot force such a diverse country to integrate by force like the Diocesan wants. We are multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, but we follow the same faith. This is why the Divine Hegemony must be re-written and the political system must evolve naturally. This is the only way we'll stop civil war among ourselves and achieve hegemonic stability." The Army has reportedly been ordered to attack Zavala, but his and the armies forces are at a standoff, with the Army confused and unwilling to proceed with the attack. The Diocesan was booed off the balcony at Vicar Fortesa, with the masses of people attending her rally calling her 'heretic'. A state of emergency has been declared across the nation, but with most loyal to the Paladins, there is a mass of confusion of as to which side to choose. |
