![]() The Moracia-Celania Telegraph Two competing groups show up in race for Prime Minister With the Parliamentary Vote on who will become Prime Minister coming up many in Moracia and Celania are wondering who will become the next Prime Minister of the nation. At the moment it seems like the Liberals may be able to win the support of the Workers Party and potentially the Democrats United in taking over the Government but if the Freedom and Democracy Party who pulled off a surprise victory in the polls with their anti-immigrant platform can get the big two to agree to let them form a government then the country could look very different 4 years from now. The final decision all depends on whether or not the Workers Party sacrifices it's economic plan for it's social values or whether it decides to stay in opposition and fight for the values their traditional voter base gave them one last chance to stand for. All will be revealed very soon. King and Queen visit industrial city of Bingham-On-Sea Today King William and his wife, Queen Kate, visited the industrial city of Bingham-On-Sea which has been hard hit by the collapse of Moracian industry. They were greeted by cheering crowds in the traditional Workers Party town. The pair met the mayor, Jeremy Thomson, of the Workers Party who gave them a tour and expressed to them his desire to renovate the city and bring in new opportunities although he has long admitted that he doesn't think anything he can do will bring the jobs flocking back. They visited the cobbled streets of the north and west of the city to see the workers who had been so hard hit by the downturn in manufacturing. They then went to the east of the city where many of the new businesses are opening and this part of the city is already employing many men and women in the city who provide the materials for the project. The mayors slogan of "built by locals for locals" seems to be in full effect here and it seems to be paying off for him with the city recently voting 72% for the Workers Party, something not seen since the 1980s before the big economic crash. ![]() The Moracia-Celania Telegraph Robert Harris of the FDP confirmed by Parliament Today Robert Harris of the Freedom and Democracy Party was confirmed by Parliament to be the next Prime Minister of the nation. The former Liberal Prime Minister, Thomas Astley, backed down from his challenge to the Government after the Workers Party said it would vote against both candidates on the principle that it must follow the values it gained votes on. The Freedom and Democracy MPs cheered when the results of the vote were announced with their anti-immigrant and isolationist views seeming to finally have a chance of being implemented. After the vote the Prime Minister headed back to Chapton House where he will spend the next few days forming his cabinet. However, tonight he is expected to attend dinner with King William and Queen Kate, a long running tradition, and here it is expected he shall be given the honorary title Lord of Beaufort which is given to every Prime Minister upon taking office. However, there could be some tension due to the fact that during the election campaign Mr. Harris called the King and Queen for visiting an Islamic community centre in the capital and said it was a political move to try and undermine his campaign. Back then the Palace simply responded the King was respecting the traditions of the 360,000 Muslims living inside the nation.
