  PRESIDENT ISSUES NEW DECREES Following the annual meeting of the Workers Congress, the father of the nation, President Stephen McPherson, has announced a range of new measures to held lead the nation from strength to strength. As usual these decrees shall become enforced with immediate effect in order to help the nation maintain its position as a superpower in Mundus. The first decree is to help promote better health for the nation, the glorious leader announced it as follows. "It is a scientific fact that many diseases such as this Jacobsen Virus which has devestated those beyond our borders, are carried by fleas and lice. I have seen many of our younger citizens around Arrakeen sporting beards and scratching them, they clearly harbour these parasites, it is therefore neccessary for the health of the nation to eradicate this. Therefore from this point forward beards shall be outlawed, any many found with a beard will be sentenced to two weeks hard labour." The move recieved support from the National Medical Council who said, "It is clear that many nations suffered from this Jacobsen Virus, we didn't, clearly this is because our President has the best wishes of our people at heart and took strong action." His second decree also concerned health, "I have seen many families complaining about finding it hard to get a dentist, this is tragic but the reason is not the lack of medical professionals, we have some of the best health care ratios in Mundus, it is people becoming too soft, becoming too reliant on this instant access. Therefore each person is required to chew on a bone for five minutes a day. Many of the best and simplest ideas come from nature, look at wild dogs, they have strong teeth and do not need a doctor, the reason being that they gnaw daily on bones" Finally the President determined that the national output of glass products must increase by 15% in the year ahead, to ensure this he is lengthening the opening hours of glass factories across the Republic in order to meet demand.  BENE GESSERIT "WITCH" ARRESTED Following a report from a loyal citizen a 72 year old woman in Geidi was arrested for being a member of the outlawed, and mostly extinct Bene Gesserit Sisterhood. The so called religious order, which was just an excuse for promiscious behavior, drug taking and human sacrifice, was banned when the nation was liberated from theocractic control. However some feable minded indviduals have still embraced this abhorrent faith. The woman was named as Gail Sutherton and will tomorrow go in front of a People's Court to face her justice. The woman was discovered to have outlawed Bene Gesserit withcraft text, as well as a bowl that is used in human sacrifice that was still half full of childrens blood. No children however were found on the premises leading Police to conduct searches of neighbouring property, these searchers however discovered nothing. Security Minister Lucas Urinov said, "It is amazing people still hold onto these notions of withcraft, by embracing logic, science and education we have dragged Kaitaine away from its superstitious past relianet on super beings to a modern superpower. Yet still some stupid people still believe their witchcraft can bring the nation back into the darkness. It is the duty of every citizen to keep a look out for these degenerates and inform your local police immediately." |

 BENE GESSERIT WITCH EXECUTED AFTER TRIAL The 72 year old Gail Sutherton, who was yesterday arrested after police discovered parafanalia from the outlawed death cult, the Bene Gesserit, was today sentenced to death by the people's court and executed. She was accused of taking part in an outlawed religion that was designed to weaken the nation, furthermore after a bowl of childs blood was found in her house she was charged with murder and torture. As would be expected of a degenerate she claimed that she had committed no crime and that her bizarre behaviour was "not dangerous, and would help bring the nation back to the Sisterhood." comments for which treason was added to her charges. It also came to light during the trial that Sutherton had been a member of the failed Bene Gesserit terrorist group known as the Truthsayers that in 1972 attempted to bring the nation back to a time of superstition and ritual, something that had long prevented Kataine from taking its rightful place as Mundus' global power. Judge McGuigan found Sutherton guilty on all counts and issued a death sentence stating, "You're barbarian culture and ways have no place in civilised society. You have endangered the men and women of Kaitaine with your actions and have no right to live amongst them. Let this be a warning to any who would justify taking another human life in their hopes of appeasing a fake God." Sutherton began crying as she was removed from the court into the execution yard outside. She was shot by firing squad and her body given to Arrakeen Training Hospital for students to practice on before being incinirated.  SEITCH FOUND TO BE MOST HAZARDOUS CITY IN MUNDUS AND WILL BE EVACUATED A recent survey of Kaitaine's cities found the western city of Seitch, which sits on the edge of the Great Desert, is so badly polluted and built that it is the most hazardous city in the whole of Mundus. Professor Clyde Warwickson carried out the survey of cities and said, "Seitch was insanely dangerous, it's sandstone buildings crumbling were just one issue." The city was once home to an extensive Bene Gesserit industrial complex producing decadent drugs for their bizarre ceremonies, these heavily industrial processes have caused irrepariable long term damage to the environment. Prof.Warwickson explained, "The city struggles for fresh water at the best of time, however the industrialisation of hundreds of years by religious fakes has polluted the little water here. It is 10 times more toxic than sea water, furthermore chemicals from the process have seeped into the sand, which is often blown into the city. Children here have as much damage to their lungs as people who have smoked for 30 years." In his great wisdom President McPherson announced that the city will be condemened saying, "Seitch is an embarassment for our nation, it's 25,000 inhabitants live in the greatest and kindest nation on Mundus and yet we have failed to help them, this is shocking. We will over the course of the next few days evacuate the whole city moving the inhabitants to new homes in Geidi, Arrakeen and Rosenfell. This people will be given new jobs, new homes and a life a hard working Kaitainite deserves. Meanwhile Seitch will be cordoned off and left for the desert to reclaim, a reminder to the world of the follies of this extinct faith of the Bene Gesserit." One resident, Alfie McKeown said, "President McPherson has saved our lives, we had no idea the danger living here was doing to our children, I'm so thankful we now have a chance at a new life in a modern house in a modern city. It makes me proud to be a citizen knowing everyone is special to our President, I don't know of any other leader on Mundus who would do this, we are truly blessed with his leadership." |

 MISSILE TEST SUCCESSFUL Following innovative modificiations to the nations missile guidance systems a full scale test has been decleared successful. Ground breaking engineering work by members of our military have improved the range and accuracy of several Molodets missiles meaning that already overwhelming firepower of Kiataine has been extended. Using a position in the far West of the nation five missiles were launched into the Great North Ocean, set to splash down at various points the furthest landed some 5000km away, around 400km off the coast of Alba Karinya. A General responsible for the missile test said, "The test was a great success, each missile landed within a few hundred meters of its intended splash down zone, the reassuring thing is if we sacrifice accuracy slightly, which I don't think we'd find a problem, we could extend the range to at least 10,000km. We have demonstrated that our technology is world class and as such made our homeland much safer from any enemy who would seek to try and harm us. Further weapons tests will be taken in the coming weeks and a floatilla is expected to take part in a military exercise in the Sea of Kyne.  SUPERSONIC SUPERSTAR Kaitaine Airlines have today set a new high bar in speed for aviation, the airline company purchases a Blackjack bomber whose bomb bay had been damaged. They have converted the aircraft into a 50 seater airliner and today President McPherson took 49 school children along for the aircrafts first flight in its new role. The aircraft took a circular route from Arrakeen over the North Sea and back, lasting around 45 minutes, during which time the aircrew treated the delighted children, many of whom have never flown before, to the experience of supersonic flight, reaching a speed of Mach 2.05, a new high for an airliner, beating the much inferior Concorde by 0.01 Mach. A proud Supervisor of Kaitaine airlines said, "We have shown what quality engineering we can do, while other nations use Concorde for decadent trips we shall be using our new Blackjack for special journeys, hopefully such as rewarding young scholars like we did today." The airline company plans to convert another Blackjack in the coming months.  RACE OF DEATH INVITE DECLINED BY HUMANE PRESIDENT The so called "Holy Empire" of Achkaerin have issued invitations to nations around the world to send horses to compete in their cruel sporting events. Mascerading as a sporting event the Achkaerin people marvel as horses are forced, often frightened and whipped, to jump over high fences often to their doom as rabid fans bet on the winners, as well as how many horses will die. The annual blood letting comes as greedy nobles bet huge amounts while guzzling champagne while the poor workers watch on tiny TV's at home, encouraged to spend their hard earned, but small, wage packet on bets, despite the results being pre-determined by bookmakers. Speaking from the Workers Congress, the animal loving, President McPherson said, "No horse from Kaitaine will be sent to die in this horrid manner for the blood lust of a superstitious people. Man should live in peace with animals and horses are an intelligent and noble creature. We will set the bar high and once more serve as an example to Mundus. It is my hope that, as always, were Kaitaine leads the world follows." |

 ARCHAELOGISTS FIND BOOK OF TREASON A team of archaelogists from the People's University of Arrakeen yesterday found a 130 year old book buried in a milk churn. The book, along with several other artefacts give details of the heretical, and now thankfully extinct blood cult, known as the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood. The Cult kept meticulous records of their pedophilia and rape programmes which they believed would lead to the summounding of a devil type figure. The book also featured details of how some of these evil doers fled the nation following the People's Glorious Revolution in the 1860's. A history professor from the University which found it said, "This book can unravel a great many issues, it can allow us to see where the leadership of this bunch of devients went, it may even allow us to track down the last remaining members of this outdated faith and finally eradicate them from existance." Police have already arranged to see the book and believe that it may unravel connections to the leadership of this faith that the rest of the world have rejected, thankful to Kaitaine for eliminating it from the world. |

 PRE-EMPTIVE RAID TO STOP TERRORISM In a series of early morning raids a total of 38 terrorists have been arrested and a further 12 killed following fire fights with the Police. Following the University of Arrakeen finding a document several days ago showing family connections to the Bene Gesserit those families have been investigated and found to be traitors clinging to their depraved religious cult. With the cult, like all superstitions being outlawed, members of the Bene Gesserit following their practices are liable to arrest, and as such the Police took action. At one property in Geidi the brave police came under fire and as such returned fire. A fire fight, in which several explosions were heard, lasted ten minutes, at the end of which five police officers required treatment and twelve members of the Bene Gesserit terrorist cell, known as the Truthsayers were dead. In other parts of the nation a further 38 people failed to be able to get to their weapons as Police used the element of surprise to make arrests. A total of 38 people, ranging in age from 12-80, are now under arrest and shall tomorrow face trial in the People's Court. A Minister for Justice said, "It is my hope the court show that sick individuals like these terrorists have no place in a civilised society such as Kaitaine. We have the lowest crime rate in Mundus, our streets are safe and the only threats are these crazy people. The Police have done a tremendous job, risking their lives to keep our peaceful way of life safe and they have my deepest thanks." The Minister went on to say that, "The historical evidence we have found shows clearly that many of these religious fanatics have fled abroad and I would warn Mundus about harbouring these psychopaths, we will be more than happy to allow nations to extradite the terrorists to us and we shall deal with them, after all as Mundus' most prominent nation it is our duty to support others less fortunate than us."  "BENE GESSERIT WHORES SPREAD HIV" SAYS PRESIDENT President McPherson today made an importantant announcement. "The recent finds we have made of the Bene Gesserit faith shows they are organisied criminals, much like any religion. They extort money through superstition and their loose morals. There is a follower of the Bene Gesserit known as an Honored Matres, they are prostitutes, designed to use their bodies to seduce men to their faith and entrap them. They have tried several times here in Kaitaine and failed because we are morally superior. They have then tried to weaken us by purposely giving these foolish brainwashed women HIV and having them seduce men to infect them. We must ensure this does not happen." The President announced a decree to ensure that the latest attempt at weakening Kaitaine by the Bene Gesserit would not work. The decree means police are allowed to arrest anyone suspected of having HIV. Police are also allowed to force HIV testing, to publicize the names of HIV-positive people and to have them evicted from their homes. These measures will go along way to keep our nation strong and have the full support of the Workers Congress. |

 EIGHTEEN EXECUTED OVER TERRORISM OFFENCES Following a series of terrorist arrests brought about by the discovery of secret historical documents the People's Court have sentenced 18 of the 38 arrested to death. Those executed were removed from the court room to the execution chamber where voulenteers from the People's Guard did their duty in dispatching the criminals. The judge sat through a marathon five hour session to hear all the cases and pass judgement, one of the longest in the People's Court history. Meanwhile a further 11 people have been sentenced to terms of hard labour ranging from between 10 years and life. The hearings also featured nine criminals under the age of 16 who were sent to re-education centres until the age of 20, at which point they will either be released or be sent to hard labour camps. Minister of Justice spokesman said, "The hearings todays show that we will take swift action against those who endanger the peace and harmony of our nation. The judge and those of the People's Guard involved today have done their nation a great service and I will sleep safer in my bed knowing that we have brave men and women willing to do what is needed for our protetction." Meanwhile the police have said that there are still ongoing investigations and that they have not ruled out further arrests in coming days.  RE-EDUCATION A SUCCESS A University of Seitch study into the process of re-education centres has today been completed. The study followed the impact of the centres on 100 teenagers who spent between 6 months and 2 years at the centre. The centre's are designed at giving youngsters who have committed crimes an oppurtunity to change their ways before getting themselves into trouble once older. The centres take in youngsters who have committed crimes ranging from persistant theft to terrorism. For some they are a last throw of the dice before a lifetime behind bars. Warden of Secundas Re-Education Centre said, "These centres are vital, we take in boys and girls who have lost their way, usually by parents who don't care about them as much as the state and we give them a second chance. We teach them the value of the State System, we remove the weakness of superstious religion and rebuild them as model youngsters, many go on to a life in the military or service of the state." The report from Seitch University found that those having attended the Centres are less likely to re-offend than adults who have just experienced prison leading researchers to say, "I suspect people may criticise us for taking young children away from their parents, but these are weak nations overrun by drugs and criminals, our system works because it looks out for the state above all and does not consign the child to a life of poverty and neglect." At present 1,200 people are in re-education centres, the youngest attender is five years of age while the oldest are 16. |

 STRAGGLERS GIVEN 24 HOURS TO LEAVE SEITCH Following an order that the city of Seitch is to be made a no go area following the discovery of high levels of pollution in the water tables the government today have issued an order that those few citizens there have 24 hours to leave. This comes after a deadline to leave the stricken city passed this morning. In a statement President McPherson said, "Seitch was once an industrial wonder, but the Bene Gesserit faith and their rituals of destruction have caused so much pollution that a decent quality of life, such as that expected for the people of Kaitaine, can not be sustained. We have found each of the residents of this city beyond help a new home of a standard beffiting a Kaitainite." It is expected that military personnel will sweep the city in the next 48 hours and support those who remain in leaving. President McPherson explained, "There is a limit to the amount of support anyone can give a city that is beyond help, as determined as the people may be there is no reason to stay. The only reason I can think of is that they are clinging onto their hidden Bene Gesserit faith, and clearly that would make them a criminal." The city was home to 25,000 people, at its height of infamy it was home to close to 200,000 people as a cermonial centre of the Bene Gesserit witches. Government sources believe that some 200 people remain. Those who have been evacuated have been given new appartments in several cities. |

 RELIGIOUS CULT ATTACK AID WORKERS When members of the military entered Seitch intending to help the old and disabled evacuate the heavily polluted city they expected to easily move 200 or so people to luxury in new homes, however within an hour of the first soldier entering the city Kaitaine armour was entering the streets. The city of Seitch is heavily polluted due to centuries of poor management and neglect by the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, a religious cult based on human blood, it now appears a handful of zealots have attempted to fight to stay in the city. Fighting broke out and lasted for several hours as brave Kaitaine soldiers attempted to remove those elderly and disabled who wished to leave meaning that the soldiers were restricted in what weapons and tactics they could use. Mainly they used APC's to shield the vulnerable from attack, however several vehicles were hit by RPG's and improvised bombs meaning the military had to use more aggressive measures. Over the course of the day a total of 173 people were safely evacuated however a further 12 died in the cross fire between the traitors and the military. In addition around 28 soldiers sacrifcied their lives to protect the unfortunate caught in the situation. It is estimated that around 26 Bene Gesserit rebels have been killed. As sun set on the desert city gunfire could still be heard as the last few extremists attempted to hold onto a city their superstitious beliefs call sacred. General McKay of the People's Dragoons stated, "The fighting was tough, narrow streets that twist and turn are a defenders dream but the skill and bravery of our forces managed to push them back while we moved those in danger to safety. It is clear this group must be eradicated, they fired at children, bombed vehicles carrying the wounded and butchered people giving medical help to the needy. These people are cowards, we shall erradicate them, even if it means blockading the city and letting every last one of them starve, we shall be victorious." It is likely more action will take place tomorrow as General McKay seeks to ensure the city is empty. |

 AIR STRIKES ON TERRORISTS IN SEITCH BEGIN Following two days of brutal street fighting against terrorists in the city of Seicth the nations Air Force have been called in to begin operations. A Minister of Defence spokesman stated, "It is clear that the civilians of Seitch have left, all that remain are traitors to the people of Kaitaine, intent on spreading their venomous hatred through their faith. We are now doing our duty to Mundus is irradicating what is the last bastion of the Bene Gesserit faith." Several sorties were flown by the nations Su-34 aircraft targeting pockets of resistance in the city. It is estimated that no more than 200 people remain fighting against the military. Casualties have been light however there are cases where evidence has been found of captured Kaitaine soldiers being executed by the Bene Gesserit witches, possibly as part of their religious rituals. It is expected that the fighting will now conclude quickly, already some Bene Gesserit fighters have fled into the desert.  PRESIDENTS WARNS WORLD OF BENE GESSERIT SLEEPER CELLS During his weekly speech to the media President McPherson informed the world of an imminent threat. "As the leading nation in the world we have a duty of care to less fortunate nations. We must therefore inform the world that in recent days we have identified around Mundus several sleeper cells of Bene Gesserit terrorists. These groups are slowly working their way into societies across Mundus intent of destroying good order and the rule of law. I would therefore urge all nations to immediately declare the Bene Gesserit faith a terrorist organisation such as we have done. They are a faith of blood rituals and slaughter, they must therefore be eradicated from Mundus immediately." The President said it would not be prudent to name nations in public where these Sleeper Cells were located stating, "This may endanger our own intelligence operatives across Mundus and therefore we will not be naming names in public." |

 SANDSTORM HALTS SEITCH OPERATIONS A giant sandstorm has hit the Western city of Seitch halting military operations against religious terrorists in the city. Over the past few days Kaitaine government forces had made major inroads into the city with the use of precision air strikes and artillary. The bombardment has pushed back the last few members of the Bene Gesserit faith to positions that would soon be overrun. This late set back however has, according to a Minister of Defence, "halted the inevitable. The Bene Gesserit faith in Kaitaine is a doomed organisation. We shall then turn our attention overseas. We have clear evidence that nations across Mundus have been infilitrated by Sleeper Cells, we have tried warning the world but no one has paid attention. It may mean we shall have to wage a one nation campaign against these dangerous terrorists." It is expected that the sandstorm will last only 24 hours at most and once gone will have minimal impact on the resumption of operations. A Sergeant on the front line stated, "Not even a force of nature can stop the Kaitaine Defence Force for long. Once the desert has done its bit we will send our own storm against the people of Seitch who have seen to lead depraved lives. You can not stop the people."  KDF TO TAKE ON MUNDUS Following a 5th successful league campaign the football team of the Kiataine Defence Force will be taking part in the Mundus Champions League. The Kaitaine Football Union (KFU) confirmed that they had ensured the nation had an entry into the sporting competition and that the League Champions would be entered. The KDF team won the league by 12 points and now will take on the best teams Mundus has to offer. Team manager Sergie Bobachenko said, "As the nation that developed football into the global sport it became it is rather disappointing we have not entered this competition sooner. Now we shall once again reaffirm Kaitaine's position as the worlds premier sporting superpower as our brave men show they are not just the worlds greatest military force but also the world's greatest footballing force."  MOP UP TO BEGIN IN SEITCH Following a 48 hour long sandstorm Kaitaine Defence Forces have once again begun their assault on the terrorist stronghold of Seitch. The city has been the sight of several intense battles as the KDF drive the rebellious religious zealots of the Bene Gesserit faith from the city. It is suspected that in the face of such overwhelming power the Bene Gesserit will have abandoned their positions in the city realising that when up against Mundus preeminent military force their time would be limited. The group have fortified part of the city however this is likely to be able to be neutralised without the need for sending infantry into the area. While fighting in Seitch was suspended the KDF moved several tanks, self propelled howitzers and armoured personnel carriers towards the city. Residents in the city of Silia spoke about seeing convoys moving, one resident stated. "I am proud to see our fighting men heading to save us from these witches. There strange practices have no place in a modern society and the sooner they are crushed the better. I think it is rather merciful of President McPherson to have not obliterated the city, its what they deserve."  DECADENT HELVETICA FEEL WRATH OF THE PEOPLE Today the Helveticans ridded themselves of the self centred government that has plagued them for too long. A brave member of the public managed to destroy their government building with all the bloated politicial class inside. This act of bravery however may now be for nothing as out of the ashes a new cockroach has emerged in the shape of a so called Empress, once more using the luck of her brith to impose the will of the rich onto the downtrodden. As is often the case the poor workers of Helvetica have been ordered to mourn the death of their former masters while their own suffering under the repressive regime continues. It is clear this act of revolution of the people is being twisted to allow the feable leadership to maintain their fragile grasp by trying to unite the people against a foreign power in the guise of Phuebra. This is another poor oppressed country that Helvetica are clearly looking to spread their Imperialism to, because after all what is an "Empress" without an Empire. The people of Kaitaine will not mourn the death of these tyrants and will not lower flags in mourning, instead we shall give thanks that men and women are determined to take great actions to save their people from the jack boot of those who would take their rights.  ZIRCON MISSILE TEST HIGHY EFFECTIVE The Kaitaine military today showed once more that they are the cutting edge of technology with their public test of the Zircon missile system. This anti-ship missile was tested in the international waters leading to the Sea of Kyne. An old surplus Destroyer was set afloat and targeted by the missile from a 2nd Destroyer just over 1,000km North of the first. The Zircon missile is state of the art and was recorded to have reached speeds of Mach 8 before hitting the target and effectively snapping the destroyer target in half. The missile is also able to defend itself against attacks by flying a non linear route at wave height, before popping up at the last moment in the terminal phase.  ZIRCON LAND LAUNCH "IMPRESSIVE" A further test of the nations new Zircon Hypersonic Anti-Ship missile was today conducted. While yesterdays test was undertaken by vessels at sea the latest one was fired from a shore battery, it's target was a fishing ship that had been seized the day before for exceeding its fishing quota. The fishing ship had been put 500km away from the coast and was completly destroyed by the missile, which was recorded as reaching 4,600mph. A team of observers on the Destroyer which fired the test yersterday witnessed the missile strike and said. "It was impressive. All of a sudden you felt this rush and then an explosion before the sound caught up with you. We were almost 10 miles away but it was still an impact and sound that almost knocked me off my feet." The missile is due to enter service soon following further tests, thought to include the air-force. The missile is likely to be positioned on a number of shore line batteries allowing any vessel inside the nations EEZ and territorial waters to be obliterated in around two minutes from the coast. A Ministry of Defence spokesman said, "This missile means that without even deploying our Navy we can ensure the security of our nations waters from all threats.  KAITAINE GUARD BUREAU CLOSE TO "DEN OF EVIL" The nations Kaitaine Guard Bureau (KGB), a force dedicated to protecting the innocent from the actions of those seeking to destabalise the nation have today taken steps to publically release a statement. The KGB normally operate in absolute secrecy, only confirming operations once convictions have been secured so it is believed that this statement is aimed more at the international community. The Director of the KGB, whose identity remains secret posted the statement on the organisations official website.
The statement was followed by one from President McPherson who said, "We will be asking people to extradite criminals soon, we all know this Bene Gesserit network stretches globally, they are like an Octopuss with tentacles everywhere stretching globally. We must cut those off and then the body will die."  SEITCH BEGINS TO FALL A military spokesman last night announced that around 1/4 of the city of Seitch is now under the control of the Kaitaine military. The city is a stronghold for Bene Gesserit terrorists who have been trying to use it as a base of operations. With the majority of the civilians in the city having been evacuated almost two weeks ago, and taken to new homes in the cities near the coast, all under the generious provision of the government, meanwhile the terrorists have been turning the city in a base of operations. Fighting had been difficult originally, the cowardly Bene Gesserit using civilians as human shields, however now with the city only full of Bene Gesserit the armed forces superior training and equipment have come into play. Last night several tanks had pushed into the city and had repeatedly pushed back attempted counter attacks by the terrorist group. Five members of the witches cult have been captured and are to be put on trial once military intelligence have finished speaking to them, they are then likely to be charged with terrorism offenses. It is expected that tommorrow further advances will come as the ever weakening insurgents lose each street in turn as superior Kaitaine armour pushes into the area. |

 REWARD FOR ARREST OF McNEILL Mundus biggest terrorist, Bene Gesserit cult leader, Joanna McNeill has had a reward of $300,000 placed on her. The reward will be given to anyone, regardless of nationality, who has information that leads to the arrest of the woman leading the terrorist action currently taking part in Seitch. Very little is known of the violent woman's life, except for the fact that she was brainwashed by the cult from a young age, and is now the groups largest fanatic. There have been various accounts of the woman, who many Bene Gesserit believe is a witch, carrying out executions of captured members of the Kaitaine Defence Force, these murders being part of ritualistic rites of blood that the cult instructs followers to carry out. One member of the KDF witnessed one of these rituals during a sadly failed rescue attempt. "We saw this red coated woman standing behind two of our men, we had units attempting to get to them and rescue them. Suddenly she pulled out a white knife and ran it across their throats, as they fell to the ground she scooped up handfuls of their warm blood and drank it."  PUBLIC EXECUTION TO TAKE PLACE TOMORROW The People's Court today took less than thirty minutes to find the two captured Bene Gesserit terrorists guilty of several charges ranging from mass murder, illegal rituals, canabalism and kidnap. The two women, Anna McCann (Aged 21) and Felicity Hollen (Aged 37) were both captured while carring out terrorist activities in the quarenteened city of Seitch. They case for the prosecution brought several files of evidence on the pair and built an open and shut case, meanwhile the defence council offered little in return apart from saying that the pair had been brainwashed from a young age. The presiding judge concluded that, "While it is unfortunate these women have been brainwashed into believing this religious nonsense it is too late for them. They pose a very real threat to the security of not just Kaitaine but of the world. We therefore have no option but to put them down to protect others. In the same way that a rabid animal is no longer able to control itself and must be destroyed so too must these pair." In a rare move it was announced that exeuction would take place the following morning on the steps of the People's Court, the first time a public execution has taken place in 30 years. The judge further announced, "A time has come to set an example, Kaitaine has a responsibility to the weaker nations of Mundus to protect them from this harm caused by these zealots.  AIR LAUNCHED ZIRCON LAUNCHED OVER ARANYE In a demonstration of the newly fashioned Zircon Air to Ship missile a Blackjack bomber flew a 8,000km loop around the largely wilderness areas of inner Aranye before launching a Zircon missile from close to the Iberian border, the missile then flew some 1,000km into the Kaitaine EEZ where it destroyed a Bene Gesserit smugglers ship which had been seized the day before. The test was a complete success with the missile hitting some 5,000mph. The test was designed to test the endurance of the Blackjack while also testing the air variant of the missile. A spokesman for the ministry of defence said "The test was a superb success, we have the ability now to launch a missile of devastating capability from around 13,000km away from our borders. The bomber and missile combination is formidible and will be a potent weapon in the war against terrorism and piracy. These tools are must haves if Kaitaine is to maintain its position of leader of the free world." It is expected that a further missile test will be carried out later in the week when the first submarine launched Zircon will be trialled in the Sea of Kyne.  LARGE CROWD WITNESS EXECUTIONS An estimated 10,000 people gathered in Arakeen People's Square to witness the execution of Anna McCann (Aged 21) and Felicity Hollen (Aged 37). The two terrorists were roundly heckled by the angry crowd, it took several hundred members of the KDF to hold them back and prevent the crowd having their vengence.  BENE GESSERIT RUIN KDF TV DEBUT A proud moment for the nations top football club was ruined by members of the outlawed religious cult known as the Bene Gesserit. The KDF faced off against Valor from Achkaerin in their opening match of the Mundus Champions League. A large TV audience was preparing to watch the game live when a TV transmitter designed to show the game live in Kaitaine was destroyed by the terrorists. This meant millions of disappointed fans missed out seeing the team run out eventual 1-0 winners. The KDF team found the opposition to be tough to break down and had to wait until just after the hour mark when star striker, Paratrooper Thomas McCall lobbed a stricken Valor Athletic keeper to score the games only goal. The KDF fans went crazy lighting up the stadium in red flares as the team celebrated. For the remainder of the match the KDF pushed forward trying to make sure, however fearing conceeding many more Valor pulled many of their players back behind the ball. After the game Man of the Match McCall said, "It was nice to face opposition from across Mundus and see where we stand. I'm glad we've got off to a decent start." After the game however some KDF fans, who were over excited, were arrested by police for throwing flares towards the Valor Athletic bus which, under fear of terror attack by the Bene Gesserit was under armed guard. In total 16 arrests were made and the bus was slighly damaged. The KDF manager said, "I'm slightly disappointed with the 16 fans, they ruined Valor Athletics visit here and I hope we can make it up to them." It was later revealed that some of the 16 were in fact Agent Provocaturs from the Bene Gesserit clearly intent on damaging Kaitaine's pristine global reputation. Before the game began each of the Valor Athletic players was presented with a special coin made for the arrival of the first overseas football team to visit Kaitaine. It was overheard that one of their players said. "I've long wanted to visit Kaitaine, the government have been very hospitable and to commemorate our visit this way is very humbling. I know for sure if a team in the Kaitaine Premier League offered me the chance to play here I'd jump at the chance to play in front of such fantastic fans." |

 COMRADE STALIN ON THE MOVE The Kaitaine Navy's aircraft carried, the Comrade Stalin, is today leaving Kaitaine national waters and heading into the Sea of Kyne, accompanied by the amphibious warfare ship The Kruschev, four Destroyers, three Frigates and four submarines. This fleet is to take part in small war games designed to look at the use of the revolutionary Zircon missile in real combat. It is expected that the ships will undertake a wide variety of scenario's and will test fire a series of the missiles. The fleet is also likely to be joined by various aspects of the Air Force who will also carry out aerial dog fights with the Comrade Stalin's Air Wing, as well as likely attack simulated targets laid by the feet. The exercise is likely to feature over 200 aircraft sorties and last about a week. President McPherson watched the ship leave dock after meeting with the crew, the President said. "We must always ensure our nation is prepared to defend ourselves, be it from the Bene Gesserit terrorists or foreign nations intent on destroying our way of life. Exercises like this ensure our men are prepared but also show the world we are not resting on our laurels."  GEIDI TO GET NEW UNIVERSITY Premier McPherson today announced that a new University will be built in Geidi, and that it will be dedicated to the study of military sciences. The Geidi Military Technology University (GMTU) will provide students with a wide range of courses, including aeronatuical and naval engineering, computer programming and medical sciences. At the ground breaking ceremony McPherson stated, "Our Zircon missile tests have been cutting edge and we have inspired the next generation of military designers to see what is possible. This facility will help the brightest in our nation channel their skills into a vital part of our nations security.  KDF STAR DETAINED ILLEGALLY In what experts around Mundus are describing as a travesty of justice, the KDF star midfielder Giles McStay was illegally detained by Agirian police while preparing to face Inter Agira. The Agria Latina minnows conspired with local police to swing the match in their favour when McStay was detained on suspicion of drugs offences, which he was cleared of. This arrest and illegal detention severely disrupted the preparation of the KDF team and while fearful of further police raids the players were not prepared for the game. This clear bias by the home law enforcement ensured the KDF team lost the game 3-1, with McStay not making the starting XI because of missed training sessions. McStay, who is a Sergeant in the Mechanised Infantry, has an unblemished military record and has been commended for his professionalism by several leading officers. He was released after several searches and being deprived of sleep. The 26 year old stated, "This is the worst treatment I've ever recieved in my professional career, everyone knows I don't touch drugs. In the military were tested regularly, and in football we get random tests, the KDF is probably the cleanest team in world football so to put me through this just to help the Inter Agiria team is so unfair and I hope the governing body do something about it." The KDF returned to Arakeen immediately following the game and now see their chances of progressing severely damaged because of this incident. |

 ROKKENJIMA SUPPORT TERRORISM In the past the nation of Rokkenjima have given their support to several terrorist organisations, including the Borlanders who are active in Alba Karinya. There was a recent leak of a private family photograph showing their soon to be "Empress" cuddling a Borlander teddy bear. The Rokkenjiman's have a track record of protecting terrorists and those who commit crimes against humanity, with their former Emperor admitting to his role in the genocide in Ardia, for which the former Empress Beatrice is standing trial. This so called "faith" have spent several decades attacking the innocent people of Kaitaine wherever they are in the world, most recently murdering the Kaitaine ambassador to Mercia along with his personel assistant, the attack coming as he went to visit a schools art exhibition. The cowardly attack was carried out using an explosive device carried by a drone, many now believing this could well have been supplied by Rokkenjima. President McPherson spoke about the Rokkenjiman Premiers speech saying, "It is clear Abe does not understand anything about the cult of the Bene Gesserit, they have murder and blood as key parts of their faith. While Rokkenjima may be fooled by their tears we witness first hand the extremes of violence these witches and whores carry out. Abe should ask himself this, why has this faith not attacked him or his people? Following the announcement of the Rokkenjiman government that they have passed a "Genocide Recognition Act" a worrying photograph of their Empress has emerged. In what to many would appear to be a paparazzi photograph of the Imperialist monarch, who seized power from her Cousin Beatrice, who is currently facing charges relating to genocide, she is seen wearing a blue tunic style top, similiar in many ways to those worn by alleged "Scholars" of the Bene Gesserit death cult.  McPHERSON WRITES FOR PRAVDA As many of you will know in recent days we have become the victim of sanctions from two nations, Rokkenjima, and her yapping puppy Dartfordia. These sanctions have been brought with little actual explanation beyond citing us conducting a "Genocide". This apparently is our attempt to wipe out the Bene Gesserit faith, a religion who this week released documents of its doctrine to the world which included admissions of brain washing young children, using women as property and nepotism. Rokkenjima have talked about weapons tests. In recent months we have conducted weapons tests in international waters, something we are perfectly entitled to do. We have taken as many precautions as possible to ensure these tests are safe, impact no nation and do not harm the environment. One of our tests even sunk a destroyer to become an artificial reef promoting colonisation by marine life. If we are to be criticised and targeted because of this then Rokkenjima should look closer to home. They were condemned strongly by one of their closest allies, East Moreland, for testing missiles of their own in the Illumic, without so much as a word of warning to a nation they consider a friend. Next we have been criticised for public executions, East Moreland, again Rokkenjima's friend, negotiated a convention on human rights that gave wiggle room to allow them to carry on executions based on the practice being prevelent prior to the treaty coming into existance. Furthermore we have seen a nation recently that have signed the MCUR, first suspend it, and then their monarch by his own hand beat a man to death on a public beach as a means of execution. The Rokkenjiman press office have been very quiet on this matter, not a single column millimeter of press space has been given to condeming The Iwi for this brutal execution. Public exeuctions have been permitted in Kaitaine for close to 200 years, even before current Soviet rule. I would argue our hanging of terrorist murderers is no different to East Moreland technique and the public element no different to The Iwi. So therefore clearly if this is being mentioned as one of Rokkenjimas concerns why are we being singled out? Next we have this apparent genocide, the targetting of the Bene Gesserit faith. Control of religion is nothing new on Mundus, Nya Aland forbids all religious practice except Odinism, we have the same rules, only ours goes one step further and bans all religions. Nya Aland have, if I am not mistaken, been offered aid packages in their time of crisis, they have been offered manpower to help them rebuild, an offer that has yet to materialise I might add. So again our banning of religion should not raise any eyebrows. As the genocide waged in Mercia there was no sanctions placed against them by Rokkenjima, it was the CTO which placed them, and even then I believe few followed that resolution. Rokkenjima were a prime mover behind the creation of the CTO, an organisation which claims to be created to " to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace," Rokkenjima have acted without discussion with anyone despite, as I understand the CTO discussing some resolution that mentions us, a debate they have not entered into, instead prefering to take unilateral action they called on the CTO to end. Let is be frank the Bene Gesserit faith is not on any nation would wish to have. Let me explain why the Bene Gesserits have no right to exist in any right thinking nation. First they promote privledge by luck of birth, however as a monarchy I wouldn't expect Rokkenjima to be concerned with this. Four families, whoever they may be, are held above the rest of mankind, becoming rich while others suffer beneath them. Next we have a faith that excludes men from its hierachy, we have seen nations call for equality yet they are willing to permit a faith that sets women above men flourish. Finally women are seen as property if they do not come up to educational expectations. This class of Bene Gesserit known as Honored Matres are appointed to this role by failing tests and then given as "gifts" to men from a noble family, seen as the property of a nobleman, many would call this slavery. We oppose these things, and as such we became targets for the Bene Gesserit wrath by standing up for equality. Now when we push back we are targetted, I believe when the Sorority sprang up in Marseille aiming at replacing men in power, claiming that the " world been the plaything of men; the devourers and the users" Then Rokkenjima pushed for military action against them by an international coalition. We stand alone against a similar organisation, who have publically admitted attacking a diplomat in another nation, yet we are the ones sanctioned rather than recieving international support. We have now had Rokkenjima call for investigations and inspections on us, for what exactly? An investigation suggests a crime has been committed, such as perhaps an Andean Genocide investigation. We have broke no law, have only tried to make the world a safer place. The actions of Rokkenjima punish a nation already under the fear of terrorism from a bunch of religios fanatics, and further more punish our neighbours, a nation in Tokulel which are also effected by the Bene Gesserit menace, yet at what point have Rokkenjima questioned them killing a member of the Bene Gesserit or two? Never, the reason is simple, we will not toe the line demanded by Rokkenjima who view itself as being above others. We will not bend to their wills and we shall do all we can to see poor Tokulel does not suffer. |

 BENE GESSERIT CARRY OUT "PATHETIC" CYBER ATTACKS Over the weekend the Bene Gesserit have attempted to carry out a cyber attack on the nation's Ministry of Defence. The attack saw them attempt to hack into the system to access records and communications, however they were shut out with ease. Instead they turned their attention to the nations favourite social media site FaceApp[1] hacking into several high profile accounts and posting videos of their propaganda. The site was shut down shortly after the hack for two hours while the problem was fixed. A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence said, "This was a pathetic cyber attack, all they succeeded in doing was stopping our youth from posting a few selfies from their sunny weekend days out. This shows we are well prepared for this kind of attack and that these backwards Bene Gesserit don't have the ability to harm our infastructure." The attack was said to have originated from Seitch, a city that is locked down by the KDF who have the heavily polluted city surrounded. A Military officer stated, "Seitch will fall in good time. The terrorists there can not get in or out and they will soon have gone through their supplies. Then they will beg us to be allowed to surrender." It is estimated that around 70-100 members of the Bene Gesserit terrorist cell known as the Truthsayers are present in the city which the supposed "faith" has polluted over the last 1000 years.  "BATTLEPODS" TO ENTER SERVICE SOON The National Aeronautical Group (NAG) have today unveiled their latest project. Fresh off the heels of their success as part of the Zircon missile project they have now developed what are being called the "Battlepods" these are two seater pods that can hang from an aircrafts hardpoint, allowing them to transport teams of four into enemy territory complete with a wide range of equipment that can be carried inside the pod, such as rocket launcers, morters and other equipment. The pods will also allow injured soldiers to be carried out of battle, additionally the heavy fire power of the carrying aircraft will also be able to provide close support. One army officer stated, "This project is exciting, I'd be nervous being inside one but it will help us maintain our position as a technologically innovative nation that leads the world in military technology. This will allow us to meet our enemies head on, extending our reach further and quicker than helicopters." It is likely tests will be conducted in the coming months.  KGB MAKE $32MILLION DRUG BUST The Kaitaine Guard Bureua yesterday seized drugs worth $32million on a container ship, the Kaitaine Merchant Ship (KMS) Volstock was carrying several hundred containers with a wide varity of goods from many companies. The KGB were acting on a tip off from an informant and seized four containers which were packed with farm machinary, the drugs where discovered hidden within their fuel tanks and around the engines. The KGB also carried out a raid on an appartment in Geidi which saw two women arrested, as the search continued they found various Bene Gesserit paraphanalia indicating, as suspected that the outlawed faith is a key player in the Aranye drugs industry. The drugs contained heroin and cocaine as well as a large number of pills, it is suspected that some of these were destined to be smuggled into other countries around the continent. The two women were also found to be in possession of the outlawed Bene Gesserit ritual spice Melange indicating that they may be infact manufacturing the spice to send to Bene Gesserits hiding around the globe. A Minister of Justice spokesman said. "When will the world wake up to the Bene Gesserit threat, we've dealth personally with their terrorism for years, now we see them attacking Tokulel and now involved in drugs. This seizure is worth $32million, they no doubt would have sold these drugs to the poor unfortunate youth of our nation, in turn weakening our society and meanwhile earning themselves funds to carry out their terrorist acts. It also means that they have dealings outside Kaitaine, somewhere they are funding criminal groups in other nations, argueably damaging two socieities. We have today hopefully closed down a smuggling operation thus making our nation safer, and also helping cut down the global drug trade." It is expected the two women will go in front of the People's Court tommorrow accused of drug and terrorism offences. |

 ZIRCON ENTERS MASS PRODUCTION Following a series of highly successful trials the nations latest development, the Zircon Hypersonic Anti-Ship Missile, is to begin mass production. Some twenty prototype missiles were made to allow various tests to take place, and now with these being highly successful it is expected that initially each vessel in the Navy shall be provided with three while the Air Force shall receive 100, a further 200 shall be placed in coastal batteries to provide for the security of the nation. In tests speeds of around Mach 5 have been achieved making the missile one of the fastest ever created. Furthermore the low radar cross section has made it difficult to track making the weapon a potent deterrent. With the ability to reach ranges close to 1,000km it also means that the whole of Kaitaine's EEZ will be under its protection at any time. The first of the newly arrived missiles will be given to two naval destroyers who are due to begin a long range training exercise in the Mhorish and Great North Seas.  BENE GESSERIT SMUGGLERS SMASHED Acting on information from accurate sources members of the elite Kaitaine Guard Bureau today seized a sizeable stash of weapons from Bene Gesserit terrorists. At around 4am local time a inflatable military style motorboat was stopped as it tried to make landfall, their was a brief exchange of gunfire between the boats occupants, four females thought to be terrorists. The boat was badly damaged and one of the terrorists killed in the exchange. The other three were taken into custody and will face trial in the People's Courts. |

 KAITAINE TO RETURN TO SPACE Following Kaitaine scientists being the leading lights of the former USR space programme it was today announced that within the next 12 months it is hoped that a manned space mission will be undertaken. With several of the former USR launches taking place from near Geidi much of the facilities are still functional. Additionally two former boosters are still located there and considered operational. President McPherson visited the site today to make the announcement stating. "We will be able to prepare a launch in just a few weeks, the technology is already there and we have taken great care of the equipment. As such with our resourefulness and superior technological abilities in this field there will be no need for the lengthy build ups of other nations." It is expected a launch of some kind will be made shortly and afterwards attempts to begin building towards a manned mission will follow. Science Minister Gregori McHolden spoke also at the site saying, "Our Zircon technology will be a great help here. While many Kaitainites were the lynch pins of the USR space programme we will now have free reign and show exactly how advanced we are by undertaking this solo. It's exciting times and I predict soon we shall be looking at missions to colonise the moon."  WORKERS CONGRESS CONFERENCE BEGINS The annual Workers Congress Conference has begun in Arakeen. The annual meeting of representatives of trade guilds takes place to advise the President on the directions the people wish to see the nation taken in the coming twelve months. The Congress is likely to push for President McPherson to take stronger action against the Terrorist group of the Bene Gesserit, furthermore they are likely to approve reforms in education that McPherson has already discussed. An early proposal from the congress is to lower the age at which marriage can take place from 21 to 18. Currently the law states that any couple getting married must both be over the age of 21 and have recieved permission from their state representative. This law ensures the stability of marriage meaning Kaitaine has one of the lowest divorce rates in the world. However some believe that the nations decreasing birth rate may be improved allowing people to marry earlier. Sarah Mahon, representative of the Retail Trade Union for Secundas said, "Our nations population growth is currently stagnent, we need to ensure our nation keeps growing and this is one way we can do that. It's important we make sure families are supported and children know they are the key to our future prosperity."President McPherson is likely to issue a decree on this immediately if the Workers Congress approve it. |

 BENE GESSERIT ATTEMPTED TO BUILD NUCLEAR WEAPON Two days ago East Moreland became the first nation outside of Kaitaine to experience a Bene Gesserit attack. The Kaitaine Defence Force have over the last 100 years managed to contain the terrorist to small scale attacks only within the borders of our homeland. For many months now we have warned the world to expect an attack and we have foiled many on behalf of other nations, however on this occasion we were taken by surprise. As a result of this a team of Bene Gesserit terrorists carried out an attack on an East Moreland nuclear convoy in order to obtain nuclear material. This attack is even more shocking in that two days ago a Bene Gesserit agent was discovered inside the nations nuclear weapons programme. Kaitaine has for a number of years worked on securing nuclear weapons as a means of protecting ourselves from envious foreign powers and a breakthrough is very close. However Madeline Castledine was discovered sneaking plans of the weapon out of a secure facility and a raid on her private residence turned up a Bene Gesserit bone knife, similar to those discovered on the bodies of the East Morelander terrorists. This connection can not be coincidence and would suggest that the Bene Gesserit are looking at creating a nuclear device of their own. A government spokesman explained, "We have a skilled Bene Gesserit nuclear weapons scientist, and a group trying to get hold of nuclear material, there can only be one conclusion to be drawn. We have warned the world about the intentions of this group and that was ignored. We have even seen nations like Rokkenjima support these witches. Now the world sees them for what they are and the world must now support our actions." Madeline Castledine will go in front of the People's Court tommorrow to face charges of treason, terrorism and espionage. |

 NUCLEAR TERRORIST GUILTY AND SENTENCED TO DEATH Yesterday the People's Court sentenced the former nuclear weapons technician, Madeline Castledine, to death for treason and terrorism. The woman was an undercover member of the Bene Gesserit terrorist group and was gathering information for the group in order to help them build a nuclear weapon, most likely to attack Arakeen. The group have also recently attacked a nuclear waste convoy in East Moreland, brutually slaughtering several police officers in the process. The People's court took less than an hour to find her guilty and pass the death sentence which was carried out an hour later. President McPherson spoke of the situation following the judicial announcement saying. "This is the most disturbing terrorist incident to date of any terrorist organisation in Mundus. To attempt to attack a nation to steal nuclear material endangered millions of Morelanders, furthermore to then consider using this to build a weapon to attack us, well its insane. What concerns me even more is the fact so few people take our warnings about this group seriously and label this media outlet as propaganda. Now perhaps they'll sit up and take notice of what we say. You can guarentee that if the Bene Gesserit witches have tried this once they will try it again. If you have a nuclear power station, then I suggest you increase your security around it. No doubt however we'll be branded as genocidal maniacs or something and the world will suffer because nations are blind." |

 SPACE TEST LAUNCH SUCCESSFUL With President McPherson hoping to have a Kiatainite on Luna before the end of the year a test launch of a rocket was undertaken yesterday just outside Arakeen. The rocket was launched at 6am and reached a height of 100km before cutting its engines and returning to Mundus. The test was according to scientists , "100% successful and within days we shall begin a series of launches aimed at increasing our knowledge and allowing us to practice procedures for when we put a human into first orbit and then onto Lunar." Many Kaitaine scientists aided with the USR space programme however no Kaitainite astronaut was selected to go into space. The rocket, known as the Muadib 1 was built using technology similar to ICBM's and therefore was quickly put together. One scientist explained, "Its simple enough, we unscrew our usual explosive warhead, screw on a capsule and away we go, add a few more boosters and the like. I believe we will easily meet the deadline that the President has given us and once more show that Kaitaine technological innovation is unsurpassed." The Air Force have already begun selections for potential astronauts and Gavrillo Mukov, a veteran of the USR Space Programme has been brought in to help train those selected. He qualified as an astronaut but spent most of his career as a backup pilot. He said. "I was always disappointed to not get to take the Kiatiane flag into space, now I can help make it a reality. These men and women who will bravely head into the heavens will be national legends. I look forward to working with them." |

 KDF BEGIN NEW OPERATIONS NEAR SEITCH Following an end of the sandstorm season the KDF units based beseiging the Bene Gesserit strong hold of Seitch are to begin a new campaign aimed at securing the approaches to the city. In recent days the terrorist group have been launching guerilla style attacks on he KDF using small villages as bases of operation. It is now intended that over the next few days four villages will be cleared of all Bene Gesserit prescence allowing then a final assault on the beseiged city itself. The most recent intelligence reports suggest that some 500 insurgents are entrenched within Seitch with stockpiles of food and water that could last up to six months. Commander of the beseiging forces, Brigadier Allan McManus said, "Seitch and those witches aren't going anywhere. A city of this nature is a soldiers nightmare, tight twisting streets and built upon many levels the city is like a maze. While it is true we could just wipe the place off the face of the earth it is worrying that we have seen children within the city, and obviously this means we must take care. It also shows that these terrorists are so twisted that they corrupted children into their actions endangering their lives. We will do everything we can to free these children and give them a childhood once more." Several tanks were seen moving into position around one of the villages as though preparing for an assault. So far around 120 members of the KDF have died in fighting around Seitch. |
