Þrjárstjörnur, a press agency, literally meaning “Three Stars” (retaking the Frystjördian symbolism of the Three South Stars, which is of massive importance in Frystjördian culture) is a network of freelance journalists generally from Frystjörd having as task to inform Frystjördians citizens of local and international news with most impartiality (a difficult task most journalists agree to say on). The agency is today financed by Free Internet Protection Rights Fund put in place since 2017 (in Frystjörd) in order to protect the share of free information, explaining why the website (which is the only communication way with social medias the agency operate) is free-add.

The Þrjárstjörnur is also part of the companies investing into the FI initiative, including the FIPR and the FIAR. It operate with 28 journalists today with a back-office of 4 people for 2 millions Credits budget annually from the FIPRF.
