Hello all. I'm having some internet issues at my house, specifically regarding my PS3. Here's the story. We had been having trouble with the internet already (we use Xfinity Blast, which advertises up to 105 Mbps). Our devices were getting 30 Mbps tops even while wired, and our PS3s were only getting in the 20s. We called comcast and they sent someone with a new modem. After installing it, our phones did much better (above 100 Mbps) and our laptops while wired received around 90 Mbps. What is especially weird is that we still get garbage signal wireless on our laptops, and we are actually getting less speed to our PS3s while wired (around 11 instead of mid 20s and only 3 Mbps wireless!). Can't really play online games at that speed... Does anyone know what could be causing all this weirdness? We think that the laptops must be messed up and not receiving wifi because it is clear that the phones are receiving a decent amount. We also think that there must be something going on with the PS3s. I have no idea how I would get less signal after an upgrade, or even get 11 Mbps when I'm supposed to be getting up to 105. Are there any settings I should change on the PS3 or the Router/Modem? How can I boost the speed? Any help? Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
