Last night while watching the Hurricanes-- I realized Laviolette is the coach-- does anyone think he has an advantage having coached us? then i thought the team is so different so maybe not-- so then i thought to ask your opinion

i think he has a slight advantage just because of his knowledge of some of the players (bates, blake, yash, even dipietro). He may know their weaknesses first hand and probably knows how to exploit them. |

I think coaching DP on the Islanders and for USSA is a hugeeeeee advantage. He knows everything about him. Again..I like Laviolette..he got dealt a tough hand and was Milburys skate goat... |

I don't think so. He is so far removed from the team now any advantage he might have had is gone. Knowing something and executing it are two different animals. |
