Who thinks that someone should have jumped in when Blake was getting his ass handed to him? Who was on the ice with him? |

well.... if it was at the Coliseum, there sure would have been a 5' tall chubby chick jumping over the glass.... Hunter, Asham and Zhitnik were on. Hunter was tied up though. Zhitnik could have done something. |

Zhitnek..no offense looks like a moosh. He reminds me of the guy in City Slickers with Billy Crystal...Danil Stern.

You know what time it is... yeaaaa booy!

Blake was already getting the extra 2 mins at that point, I don't think a 3rd man in would have gone over so well with the refs... Hard enough to kill 2 mins with one of your top PK'ers in the box, even harder to kill a 2min 5-3 |

and sadly.... if Rick was still in net... he probably would have been the third man in. |

Trailor..so its better not to jump in and watch your teammate get destroyed and possibly injured then worry about 2 minute penalty when your up by 2 or 3? |

You don't jump in on a fight that's already in progress though........ Blake was holding his own he wasn't getting "destroyed" |

um...dude took like 5 solid uppercuts to the face...his nose was cut & bleeding. But...the guy was already landing shots before Blake got his little gloves off. Trust me...Blake had NO intention of dropping those gloves...he pretty much had no choice. ....anyone notice Godard on the benck looking mighty pissed afterwards? |

Holding his own? No offense please watch that fight again. First off he is not a fighter and one of the most talented players and needs to be defended immediatly. NOT the next shift but right then and there. And yes, you do jump into a fight that has already started. Its aclled the third man in and big deal you get a penalty but at least you are sticking up for each other and the other teams have respect for that. We are in trouble people face it! |

Clymer's not a fighter either, it's not like the matchup was Blake vs Worrell or something. Tell me how it should have been handled then???? Should Godard have come in off the bench and beat up their checking winger? I guess I'm confused. NEITHER of these guys are fighters and they decided to drop the gloves. Win or lose, Blake stood up for himself, would you rather that he skated away like a wuss and not stuck up for himself? Not all fights need to be heavyweight bouts or fought solely by pugilists, and this wasn't a case of their fighter going after our skill guy (FWIW, I confused the Blake fight with one of the B's fights (Leahy/Gratton) when I spoke of him holding his own, my apologies. ) |
