we won now shut up??? We handed the Rags a point they shouldnt have gotten and our offense was beyond putrid. Im psyched about the win but Im sorry for not getting excited yet about a team who has maybe, MAYBE 2 above average NHL d-men and an offense that cant seem to be bothered to work hard enough to generate scoring chances. Dont tell me to shut up. A similar effort tomorrow night and we get blownout.

people, we won!!!!!! now shutup and lets enjoy this all the way through tomorrow

Sorry, I can't. It's an illigvitimate win and the RAGS got a point anyway and Sterling still blows and he will forever hold this team back. I don't care if the Islanders win the next 10 games in a row, I will be unhappy with the coaching of this team.

And, Luck won't get us far..even though it got us a win tonight.. or should I say, LUC has a number and it's 39...

Sorry, I won't shut up about it until something is done about it.. :)

It was a very entertaining game. If I had to watch 82 games like that one, my heart would explode.

Sure we had a 2 goal lead. But hand it to the rangers, they worked and worked. We worked harder than previous games, and it looks like we are starting to get there. Thank God for Rico in the net. The kid is special. I think Oleg and Hunter played great games as well as Yashin.

Poor break by Pettinen but I'll cut him a break since the same thing happened to my kid on saturday to break up his goalies shutout. Things like that happened, but the most important thing, and everyone should keep this in their minds, is we found a way to WIN. Period. Lets go for 2 tonight.

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

since we now have MORE than enough ppl dishing out rant after rant about how much we suck (a few games into the season I might add). I'm going to try to be one of those "brightside" types:
-DP is simply amazing
-Yash & Satan found some net
-our PK is really solid
-Hunter is a work horse
-We owned the 3rd period...(which showed me that they can be a great team if they can do that for 60 mins)
-We beat the rags for the first time in a loooooong time !!!!!!!

but how can you not be excited about DiPietro…Robert Nilsson…Ryan O'Marra…Petteri Nokelainen…Jeremy Colliton…Kyle Okposo…Blake Comeau…Sean Bergenheim…Chris Campoli…and so many others.

Well said.... The most important thing about a hockey game is not how good A or B or Q played...

IT IS WHETHER WE GOT THE TWO POINTS AND A +1 IN THE VICTORY COLUMN!

I know there was some glaring problems, but you know what - they can be SOLVED. Let's just hope that these are growing pains to the new league. If we dont do this in March - NO ONE will remember what happened in Philly in October.

Move on - go get them at our home. Lets rally behind the troops and return our building to FORT NEVERLOSE!

i dont understand how you can be satisfied.

In my book especially early in the season its the effort that counts, i would much rather be 2-4-1 and played hard every single one of those games then to be 5-2-1 and played like we did last night, we didnt deserve to win and we need to actually start playing well if we want to be a playoff team.

I am not satisfied. Never said I was. But you make it with wins and losses, not good or bad players...

Will they right the ship, they better. But I will still take a W anytime I can get it. Just remember if they miss a position or make a position by 1 or two points, and remember this game ( one they STOLE).

That's all.
