my prediction isles win 7-4 (1 en) Hunter York (2) (en) Nilsson Weini Yash Zhitnik Parry All score Sidney gets an assist Dipi plays well but only 22 saves. 5 minors, spread out (Pitt goes 1-5 on the pp) we go (2-8) (Parry, Zhitnik) Im also predicting 13 K in the stands. It is depressing to see sections empty on TV. |

game thoughts.... Can't blame DiPietro except for maybe one goal, bad bounces, and terrible crease coverage by the D. Asham CANNOT make those mental mistakes, that was horrendous, you HAVE to know better. Bates, dumb penalty, then the stupid raising of his hands, same ole story. Parrish, is useless, trade him now while he still has some value and before he becomes a UFA. He just looks slow and lethargic, and has all season. York can't hit an empty net, ever. Play Weinhandl, Nilsson, Nokelainen more, and for F@!@( sake, call up Bergenheim. |

MAN! Went out for a couple drinks after work (well more than a couple) and missed the game (GLAD!) . But was at the varsity club on OSU campus and the bartender saw my Isles golf shirt I had on and started asking me about the Isles. Turns out his uncle (Rich Larkin) just retired as the zamboni driver at NVMC after the 03-04 season (had done it since 74). What a small world! And I agree!! FIRE SS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Pens suck and we should never EVER be embarassed in our arena like that to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. Only words to describe last nights effort. This was a team that we should've gotten very physical with, a bunch of soft puck dazzlers, and instead of not giving them anytime with the puck and hitting them we backed off all night like we were in awe of Mario and Sidney. The game before our PK was great because we pressured the puck at all times. Last night we go into the box shell and let Mario carry the puck as long as he wants and then he hurts us. What the hell do they think would happen giving Mario time and space? I'm with you all, "STEVE MUST LEAVE" |

"Tell them to get in line," Stirling said. No one will play aggressively if they're going to get benched every time they make a mistake. Asham took a dumb penalty, but the guy is giving it everything he's got. Yeah, he should stay out of the box, but he gets a seat on the bench for being overly aggressive. There is no consistent energy from this team. Its got to come from the top. |
