Brodeur is still out. A win and we move into a tie with them.

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

How will the Islanders respond?

How will they respond to the sting of two bad losses? 5-1 to Pittsburgh in front of the home crowd and a 6-0 defeat in Ottawa?

How will they respond to Steve Stirling, known as a players' coach with a lot of patience, telling Janne Niinimaa to leave the ice during practice yesterday?

Yes, it's early in the season, but it's games like tonight against a local rival on the road that say a lot about a team. It all starts tonight at 7:30 pm in the Meadowlands. To make sure you get Howie Rose and Joe Micheletti, tune it to MSG Network. Pre-game starts at 7:00 pm.

How indeed? :letssee:

I will consider it progress with more than one goal scored.

We'll win tonight.

we are playing pretty well.

Actually most of the team is playing well... Niinimaa somehow turned the puck over right in front of the net

AHL Callup
Aaron Asham 1:52 TOI. He's plus 2 and has an assist. I'm thinking he's got to be out of Sterling's doghouse

  I think we should not try and pick this one apart too much. It was a much needed win. We stayed out of the penalty box for the most part and avoided the dumb penalties (except Asham in the 2nd, and York in the 2nd). We should enjoy this one!!

Huge Win!!!
First win by more than 2 goals, cut down on the penalties and shots against, did well on faceoffs...all things we need to do all things we accomplished.
Good to see someone other than Yashin or Satan score. Finally weiny gets one...nice to see Kvasha & Bates score also.

keep it up against Philly.
