Goalie interference anyone?

Honestly, though, if the team USA scouts were watching this, Grahame looked pretty good ... kept his team in there while DP couldn't ...

And Lifer got a good show tonight!

I hope he had a great time, despite the dissapointment of a loss.

Sorry you had to see a loss Lifer.

As I see it we are not going to win every game, so if we do have to lose, a loss like last night was easy to swallow.

The better team lost. Plain and simple. We had plenty of chances and out hustled and out hit them last night. And we got beat by their star, not some call up.

We played well and if some of the bounces go our way we win, hands down. There were things that didnt go right but as far as I can see they were minor. We pretty much stayed out of the box and again killed what we had to.

DP was good but Grahme was a little bit better. Hey they are the Cup champs in their building and we played a great road game and almost came away with points.

The only thing that was worrisome was letting up the late goal that killed us. We are almost there folks and we are getting closer. Look for us to win big on Saturday.

Had that crossbar Yashin hit in the last minute goes in we'd all be very happy campers. That doesnt change the rest of the 59:59.9 of the rest of the game, so dont get down on this one, it certainly was not a stinker.
I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

Ok Tom... I've got to ask...

Which players and was it BEFORE or AFTER the game?

Was it at the warm up skate? 'cause they don't even look at you during that.

Sorry you had a sucky time...

before........at the hotel. It's like you.. if you're going to be cold to your fans, i can see them doing that on LONG ISLAND, but when you're away, try to have as much support as you can.

the game was really awesome, they played an awesome first, sucky second, and decent 3rd.

I<<<< CALLED NILSSON OUT SAYING HE WILL GET HIS FIRST GOAL LAST NITE TO ALL ISLE FANS!!! I JUST FELT IT!

dp was the best, you can only do sooo much with people infront of you.

NINNY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

no one, i mean no one, asked him for autographs..

and i'm sorry dee, but your boy blake, REFUSED TO SIGN MY JERSEY YESTERDAY while CASUALLY, not even fast paced walking, to the arena! being a good player i respect, as a person..

when you come here to Long Island -- if the team is at Ice works maybe me and dee can take you to get that signed..and trust me....they dont walk past us...we will tackle and hogtie them!!

tough loss....glad i fell asleep -- and then when cupz got up at 345 he asked me...and i turned it on and it was 3rd period and it was still tied so then i went to espn and saw 2-3...loss-- at least i didnt stay awake at 4AM to see them loose!!

I like Campoli-- but not like this...Posted Image

Sorry to hear that lifer, though not surprised based on my own personal experiences of seeing some of these twits out in public. I was surprised that all of their egos could fit into The Rack in Boston, and my oh my they are NOT "good boys". I once had to leave there in the offseason because one certain Isle (who shall not be named) spent so long staring at me/friend that said friend was completely freaked out and demanded that we move. And that really sucked because A- we had nice seats at the bar which is difficult to do there and B - I was totally buzzed and really didn't want to stand up and have to walk around in the shoes I was wearing. I've since stopped going there, which sucks because I like the outdoor patio in the summer, had been going there for like over 10 years, and the no cover charge thing is always a plus...

The worst player experience I've ever had was with Jason Allison at the Rack one night. He of the super-ego which is so large that he pushed me onto a pool table (by my CHEST I might add) to get by. And he stepped on my foot too. But it's ok cuz I pushed him back :P

The majority of players are usually more open to signing autograph's for kids.
But as fans, most people don't realize that these guys get interrupted at dinner outings,
walking to a store, getting out of their car etc. they also have to put up with smart alec comments.
Not trying to make excuses for Blake. You may have gotten him at a bad time, he is human.

Personally, as an adult, I'd feel embrassed asking another adult for their autograph.
Haven't done that in a long time.
Last time I did this, I had my son with me and he got autographs from Jean Potvin & Bobby Ny
a few years back at an oldies game.

That said...I think Jason Blake is one tough customer because I remember seeing a photo of Lifer (TOM the firefighter from Florida) on here and if he asked me for anything I'd kindly friggin oblige.
