Yea, Tom's a big boy. Just the size you want to see show up when you have to be carried down a ladder.

I sold it all, retired and moved to Fabulous Las Vegas!

I've met a couple of Bruins after games and such, I've gotten my share of autographs. Have to say, hands down, nicest guy I EVER met was PJ Stock. What a doll, is just so real and so funny. Me and my friend had brought her goddaughter to a game, Stock was her favorite player.

I think there are those in hockey, just as in real life, that are just flat out d--kheads (like Allison), and there are some that are just genuinely "nice" (ala Stock).

The majority of players are usually more open to signing autograph's for kids.
But as fans, most people don't realize that these guys get interrupted at dinner outings,
walking to a store, getting out of their car etc. they also have to put up with smart alec comments.
Not trying to make excuses for Blake. You may have gotten him at a bad time, he is human.

Personally, as an adult, I'd feel embrassed asking another adult for their autograph.
Haven't done that in a long time.
Last time I did this, I had my son with me and he got autographs from Jean Potvin & Bobby Ny
a few years back at an oldies game.

That said...I think Jason Blake is one tough customer because I remember seeing a photo of Lifer (TOM the firefighter from Florida) on here and if he asked me for anything I'd kindly friggin oblige.

funny you should say that...

I thought the same thing....

it's one thing to get pissy at someone my size... which is unfortunately even 10 inches shorter than he is...

but it's another to try to deal with someone Tom's size.

If it makes you feel better Tom.... I think he's the one who called airport security on me 3 years ago....

and he's been paying for it ever since....

I'm like the Burger King guy in the commercials.... I just show up and stand there... silent....watching....

ok... I'm only sort of kidding...

IQ... tell them I'm not THAT bad...

Hmmm, that would explain why Blake's hair is always messy.

Kinda looks like Woodstock from the Peanuts gang.

No, IQ... he's still using the OTHER nick-name!!!!

And yes....

They sent a little stick figure of a blonde woman out to tell me and my cohorts to leave the airport. Which was fine, since I was already turning the car around to leave.

I tease, but it probably wasn't him. It was probably Hamrlik, because I didnt' ask him to sign anything. I was too interested in Bergenheim at the time. Jason had already grunted at me, signed my daughter's jersey and boarded the plane. He was just pissed as hell that I was parked in his spot and didn't want to tell me to move.

He knows my husband keeps me on a short leash, so he's really not THAT scared of me......

unless I show up JUST with Queenie...

and then his eyes dart around..

"Where's the big guy??? Where's the big guy????? Damn it!!!

Pettinen! Stand in front of her!"

SEE!!!!

and THAT'S why I can't get any damn good pictures...

When I go to the booster club meeting this month, if they let Yashin sign stuff, I'll have him sign a card for you and send it out.
