I know it's early for this thread but... I HAD to point out a few things about this game. First of all, I dunno if you've heard this but.............. ERIC CAIRNS IS PLAYING OFFENSE FOR THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Panthers roster is so depleted with injuries that they are forced to use some of their "D" up front. Also they are 0-6-4 in their last 10 games. I don't wanna be cocky but....this should be a breeze...unless, of course their new star forward (Cairns) out hustles our guys.....LOLZ !!!! |

we're playing well, we just need to HIT PEOPLE!!!! DAMN IT, THEY DID NOT DO ENOUGH BODY CLEARING nor HITTING THEM AGAINST THE BOARDS in our own zone lastnight. they just stood and watched like they were afraid. Tampa laid a body on us every time we touched the puck in their zone. and we need to hold the lead or tie when we have it. 1:27 from getting atleast a point.. |

shoot to score & play to win
|
I think if we play the way we did against Tampa we'll be ok. We're gona have to force rebounds against Luongo though he's to good striaght up with the shot. Florida has some guys that that don't see the ice too badly, we're gona have to clear the zone with style tonight. Thats my biggest concerns, other than that I'm not afraid of their D moving up and closing us in our zone, or their forechecking turning over too many pucks. Should be our game! Lets Go Islanders! |

OH LOOK... ANOTHER GOAL BY BATES FED BY BLAKE!!!! HELLO??? Hmmm.... Anyone uses the words 'puck hog' again in reference to the little putz and I'll smack them. How beautiful was that riding the coat tails of a wonderfully redeeming goal by Kvasha!! Awesome! |
