yeah... but I'm afraid to find out.... ![]() This also doesn't sound that great: COLISEUM ATTENDANCE UPDATE The Islanders have a total attendance of 116,801 after nine games at the Nassau Coliseum, for an average of 12,977.9 (79.9% capacity) with one sellout. Last season after seven games at Nassau Coliseum, the Islanders had a total attendance of 84,866, an average of 12,266 (79.8% capacity) with one sellout. The seating capacity for the Nassau Coliseum is 16,234. Let's see if afternoon games are good for attendance or not. |

OH THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG ABOUT SEEING DAYLIGHT WHEN YOU'RE AT A GAME.... ESPECIALLY TODAY WHEN YOU GET THE FEELING THAT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO SLINK INTO THE DARK OF NIGHT AFTER THIS GAME.... AND I BETTER HAVE AN USHER AT MY GATE TODAY OR BODIES WILL FLY IF THEY GET IN MY WAY AGAIN OR SHOULD I SAY STILL |

Fucking Ottawa is the biggest bunch of divers. Both penalties were blatant dives and the fucking refs are falling for this bullshit. Niiniimaa needs to be benched, just give Martinek his ice time. |
| Rick DiPietro- Retiring?Nothing like that has even crossed my mind. I know I can play.. | |

Sports Illustrated described this year’s Islanders as “small, soft and generally uninteresting”. END OF 2 Ottawa 4 Islanders 2 |

The isles have nothing, this team isn't going anywhere this year. And since a post to post slide during the middle of the 2nd, DP has been hurting. Blake is the only one doing anything. |

i dont know what i was expecting but that lil flicker of hope deep inside is so small- yet it was growing during the first period-- then they did what they do 80% of the time.... this isnt fun.... then today is a zillion kids right?...and they give away hockey sticks...not little ones...big ones...do they wait for after the game....no -- yet the lil stanley cup they gave away opening night-- they made us wait in the rain to get them outside....but sticks to little kids...yes give it to them before... and one sign on the boards wasnt working so they covered it up i wish they could cover my heart

i am sure giving it away to the first 5,000 kids was the key-- but how about a wrist band and after the game you pick it up??? just trying to walk in the halls was like you were in a dream and 1000 of kids thinking they were NHL stars and were playing hockey with an invisible puck... i almost got tripped like 3 times... no i dont think they have a clue.... and what gets me is we pay WAY too much to get this type of 2nd class treatment!! CUPZ pointed out that in yesterdays game notes they had milestones and one of them was Godards first goal... HELLO.... are you watching the games??? |
