I didn't want this to go unmentioned. This guy was one of the all time greatest defenseman in our era. I watched this ceremony over the weekend and they did something cool. They had his kids come skating out in his jersey. had former Blues greats like Bernie Federko there...the late Bob Gassoff's wife. (gassoff was a tough Blues up and coming Dman who died in a motorcycle accident in the 70's). What a first class ceremony, if anyone else caught this, you know what I'm talking about. very emotional and unfortunately for Blues fans, this was probably the best part of their season with what that team has gone through. Congrats to Al MacInnis and his family and to the Blues organization for a great well deserved ceremony. |

looks like it was an incredible ceremony. i've always had a certain respect for the blues and i never really knew why. i guess i have a reason now. this must have been great for blues fans, if at all possible they've had a just as if not more turbulant season than we've had. |
