i dont know too much about either of them, but if it's true that crawford is good with young players i think we would be the perfect fit for him.
"We're not in a bind at all," Burke said. "I'd say of the 29 teams, we don't talk to Edmonton, so of the 28 other teams, there's plenty of interest in making this predicament go away. I could hang up the phone and solve this."

if they don't make a HUGE run at Crawford, I am going to be VERY disappointed.

IMO the Isles would be foolish not to go after him.

It would be nice for Crawford to be here, at least we'd have a coach with some real playoff experience and someone who's won a cup (even if it was 10 years ago), last time we had that was with Arbour

Put the Cup Back in Our Lobby Where It Belongs

Guys like Murray and Crawford will never, ever be hired to coach Long Island's team. They are competent, accomplished professionals at the NHL and/or international level.

That tragic flaw has disqualified legions of coaches from consideration in Mike Milbury's universe over the past ten years.

No, we will be lucky to avoid getting another junior league coach who stuffs ineligible players into the luggage bins of a bus to avoid problems with customs. See Stewart, Bill. :puke:

PS Or Mr. Plank-of-Wood himself, the immortal and unsinkable god of the hockey abyss, Rick Bowness. :puke:
