Alright i was just thinking about hockey, rivalries, etc. and was curious about what all your personal most hated/disliked/loathed teams are. here are mine: 1) rags - obvious.... AND THEY SUCK 2) maple leafs - darcy tucker, goons, playoff series.... need i say more? 3) phili - have some of the most obnoxious fans, division opponent, and they're usually a tough game 4) devs - swamp, worst fans ever, and they have broduer which quite frankly i'm jealous about. 5) lightning - little sh!t st.louis and butt buddies always find a way to beat us in the gayest way possible. so those are some of my most hated teams... how bout yours? |

#1.......The Rangers(Has anyone actually ever seen a Ranger in NYC? How about something more NYC.......like a Pigeon). #2........The Leafs(basically the Rangers of Canada). #3........The Flyers(biggest jerkoff fans in the league and their teams tend to pay homage to the past and play like scumbags IE Dave Brown and Eddie Hospodar) |

I am going to add here. Favorite teams besides the Islanders. #1.......St. Louis Blues(Very, very diehard fan base, nice fans and honestly, the Blues are literally a team that is always off the radar where it concerns the Isles, so why not back them?) #2........Los Angeles Kings(Diehard fan base and the women in Cali is smokin' hot. Seriously though, I don't know why, but I kind of always liked the Kings.) #3........Atlanta/Calgary Flames(Liked them since they were the Atlanta Flames, just thought those red uni's were sharp and I like Vial, Peplinski and Nilsson way back when. Besides, they came into the league with us and I consider them our sister team.) |

Speaking of bedtime, that scruffy looking troll of a hobbit Bobby Granger is on talking about comebacks with spit forming in the corner of his man-child bearded mouth. How many stupid ass commercials is MSG going to make from here until Saturday? I hope he crosses the street and Habib hits this annoying puss bag in his rear end. |

Put the Cup Back in Our Lobby Where It Belongs
|
Seems I always arrive at these threads just when they start getting a bit stale. Hmm, maybe it's me. >sniff< >sniff< <-- checks armpits No, I'm cool.Anyway . . . Most disliked teams Rangers - Newsflash: Importing Mess, Tik, McTav, Lowe, Huddy, Beuke, etc. is not kidding anyone. Your Cup drought is 65 years old this year. Please return banners, rings, and parade paraphenalia to Northlands Coliseum, Edmonton Alberta Canada, where they truly belong. PS See if you can trade those items for the missing chromosomes your fans appear to lack. Devils - boring to watch, but the best-run team in the league. Lou L is the best general manager in history following Torrey. Got to hand it to him, too, he took a long time in the 80's and early 90's before he got it right. Blue Jackets - could we please f'ing beat this team? Some year? No, can't dislike them....it's our guys I'm upset at here. Okay, let's face it, sometimes I really dislike the Islanders. Oh well, too late to change my stripes now. And other teams I like Blues - classy uniforms, nice tradition (horns after goals, "Saints go Marching In" for arena music), zero playoff aptitude. I give the fans a mixed rating. Loyal but not terribly smart. I went to a game at the old Arena once when Peter Stastny joined to Blues. The entire section was stuggling all night to figure out who he was---ten years after he entered the league. Ring ring, clue phone, it's for them. Still, cool team. Calgary - somebody said it already, our cousins. Best arena in the league for sitting down low when a goal scores. Whoosh, a huge ball of flame erupts. I'm not kidding, look for the red glow on the players' backs just after the puck goes in. That's the light from the fire. Pretty f'ing terrifying if you don't realize it's coming (I didn't and practically wet my pants). Winnipeg Jets - I used to root for them in Coliseum, back during the dynasty games. I mean, with our galaxy of talent, it seemed rude to root against them when they didn't have much of a prayer. |

other teams i like: sharks - i dont get to see them play much but when i do it's always a fun game to watch. they have that bad ass goalhorn and a well structured team sens - kinda stacked but always a fun team to watch. anyone see spezza goal today?! ![]() thrashers - have a highly explosive offense and a deadly top line. |

Rangers, no question. There's no other team that compares to the passion upon which I hate the rangers. |

Winnipeg Jets fans I felt so bad for when that team left. They really, really, really loved that team and they showed it with consistent sellouts. They were the inventors of the white out wear in the playoffs that we still see today and yet, not one gives them credit for that. I still think that the Rangers(self proclaimed "trail blazers") stole that 50th anniversary Ranger jersey(the 1970's looking one with the Rangers sheild on the crest) style from the Jets. The Jets were still a WHA team in 1976 when they came out with it, and so, who would they answer to? My uncle put it best to a Rangers fan buddy of his way back when when the Rangers first wore those things. He asked the Rangers fan if putting the actual logo of the team crest like the Islanders do, would help them make the playoffs.(The Rangers never made the playoffs for the 2 years they wore that hideous thing). |

Hated teams Obviously the rags Toronto Maple Loafs/Maple Losers - Darcy Tucker and Tie Domi are dirty punks, not to mention Gary Roberts' 85 foot flying elbow to the back of KJ's head Philly - Denis Gauthier is the new Bryan Marchment - anyone see that uncalled spear on JP Dumont? Liked teams Devils - just the model franchise in the league, even though their fans suck Sabres - such a fun team to watch Sens - fun team to watch, come on Big Z, squash that little midget! |
|
From March 4 - "Idiot(rag) fans are jealous, they keep chanting Potvin's Cups!" Who sucks? Crowd- Ranger$! | |
