Philty. Hate the city, team, fans and cheesesteaks Rangers. goes without saying Montreal. Montreal is a French word, translated into English it means "dives then whines" As for other teams I like I'll always have a place for the Broons in my heart Devils Buffalo SJ Sharks Vancouver I could also do without all teams below the Mason-Dixon line. |

Rangers Oilers (mostly of the 80's) Flyers Leafs Bruins A special extra F-you to Dale Hunter and any team that scumbag ever suited up for...professionally or otherwise. I don't know what he is doing today, but I hope it brings him nothing but pain, suffering and misery. Maybe he can find a place in the car with 7th on her upcoming trip

Authority without wisdom is like a heavy axe without an edge: fitter to bruise than polish. Anger makes dull men witty, but it keeps them poor. In the beginning, the Universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. | |

The Whalers changed their jerseys so many times, since they were born in the WHA it's ridiculous. I remember them and the Flyers wearing those stupid looking pants for a year(I think the 1985 season) it looked like a practice session out there. But I did like the Whalers mid-80's jerseys, the all green especially(without pucky the whale on the shoulder). Collectors will pay a nice fee to get their hands on an authentic one, since Hartford hasn't given permission to the NHL to reproduce the Whalers jersey on a vintage line the only way to get one is to hope and wait on Ebay or other sites who have a couple of them. I went up to the Civic Center I don't know how many times back in the late 80's to see the Isles play the Whalers and one thing is true, that arena sucked. I know ours is not one to gloat about, but atleast it wasn't in the middle of a mall where you could smell the popcorn right outside the arena. Plus, that team had no support, for years they were in the basement as far as support went, the only season they had near capacity for almost every game was their "miracle" year in 1986 when they won the Adams division. Other than that, no one in Hartford gave two craps about the Whalers. |

There is something extremely sacreligious about putting CHEEZ WIZ on steak. I really don't like cheese, but I really do like onions and peppers C'mon Ribeiro's performances are Oscar worthy, so much more so than Kovalev's. And the Whalers, speaking of jerseys and colors... FEG, don't you remember COOPERALLS?????????

Places like Pat's and Steve's in Philly don't use Chez Wiz, they use real American cheese, but I get your point. I have seen the Chez Wiz thing done at a food cart in Philly and it's pretty nasty. Yes, I remember Cooperalls, I mentioned that in my last post, they were retarded looking. Remember MSG chanting "take your pants off" at the Flyers when they visited. It must've been embarrassing. I forgot Robbie did that, but he isn't French Canadian, he is Portugese by birth.

FEG, don't totally trash the Cooperalls, those were great, but yeah, they looked hideous. Since no one mentioned them...how about the NHL short lived Cleveland Barons? We had a very good team in 78 but that lil bastid Denis Maruk was an Islander killer and I think Donnie Edwards was their goalie. saved his best against us. And they were like the doormats back then. Eventually they were merged with the North Stars and that franchise continued to give us some fits until we won our 2nd cup against them in the 81 finals. hated the Barons, loved the North Stars. |

The Don Beaupre NorthStars, poor kid was only 19 when he was manning that net in that 81' final. They should've never changed that name or logo, the Wild wear disgusting jerseys, it looks like moss is growing all over it. Better yet, it looks like the inside of a 67' Chevy Impala lowrider somewhere in East L.A. The Northstars I always liked, favorite player is ofcourse Dino, talk about a diamond in the rough when Minny drafted this kid. Tough as nails, a nack for scoring and a leader. |

The Minnesota MOSS? I LOVE IT! that's the perfect description for those ugly Wild uni's. Bring back the North Stars baby. The memory of Bill Goldsworthy, Tim Young, Bobby Smith and Al MacAdam lives on! |

Is Geno's the one where if you don't get your order out quick they literally send you to the back of the line? I am an I-talian food freak, so chicken parm will always come before ground beef, legumes and fromage avec du pain. |

Bill Goldsworthy=Ogie Ogolthorpe. Don't forget Palmer and Christian. I still think Palmer had one of the hardest slap shots I have ever seen or heard, he could really rifle that thing. |

I dunno FEG, I don't remember where I ate with my brother, who swore by the Cheez wiz. All I remember is NOT wanting to be in Philthy. Someone I used to talk to that was from there swore by it also and loved Geno's... Italian food, huh? Yumm. |

The problem with Chez Wiz, with the grease from the meat and the wet vegies is you have to literally stand up and lean slightly forward to eat the damn thing. You can tell where a cheesesteak cart has been by all the drops of freaking cheese everywhere. Yes, I-talian food rox the sox........and yet...........I still have a hard time finding a nice I-talian girl. Have to go hang in Middle Village again.

Cheez Wiz is naaaaaaaasty. You couldn't pay me to eat that crap! All this talk of Italian food, Imma go visit DiPietro's down the street during lunch and get me some pizzelles. (and let me please clarify, no relation AFAIK to Rick and it's pronounced Dah-peee-troh's NOT dee-pee-ay-tro's). Either that or I'm going to make sausage cacciatore tomorrow ![]() WTF is Middle Village? |
