I didn't want to make another thread on an Islanders website about a Ranger, so I will lump this one onto this thread as to keep the board free of Rangers disease by seeing "Ranger" too many threads in a row. It seems Jagr will assume the captaincy of the Rangers if it's offered to him next season. How nice? Now that the Rangers have proven they have the makings of a team, which before this season, were projected to finish near dead last, he takes it upon himself to finally wear the "C". And I am not buying the crap that Rangers fans are selling with telling me "he didn't want to wear it out of respect for Messier." BS, Jagr didn't show Mario Lemieux any respect and he won two cups in Pitt and Mario was practically a father figure to the man, why should he give two shits what Messier thinks or feels? I think this is also a way to take the attention away from himself for literally taking himself out of these playoffs when he tried to stupidly go after Scottie Gomez in game 1, with 2 minutes remaining in a lost game. Taking the "C" would be the perfect way of sheilding his honor from the scribs and others that might want to plaster this guy for his selfishness in the playoffs. Everyone should know this boobs history with other teams. He overstays shifts, always whines(olympic's) and never seems to want to take the responsibility by putting a team on his back when he is fully capable of it......atleast skill wise. The difference this year is the obstruction rule allowed him to roam free, so he shut his trap and took advantage of it, but the minute he gets thumped in the playoffs, as usual, he whines and doesn't get back up again. The man has no integrity and no tolerance for the pain it takes in the playoffs, unless he is surrounded by others that will protect his ass 24/7 like Ulf Samuelsson and Joe Mullen used to. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/story/413890p-349922c.html |

It also seems that Eddie "Heave ho two in a row" Olyzk might be taking JD's place in the booth with Sam Rosen. If you thought JD was a homer or annoying, wait until you hear this guy, he is like Chris Russo with full Ranger blinders on. Now I wish JD would stay, because this bafoon is intolerable. |

I guess. I will just get the center ice package next season and be in my element the whole season. They have classic games also, now that is a must have, because I love that old crap. |

I LIKE EDDIE O!!! I thought he was great on NHL Live 4 years ago before he was a coach. Other than his new penchant for Barry Melrose suits, I'll think he'll do a fine job. at least he's better to look at... Has anyone else seen this man in person??? he looks like a building going for a walk.... a building with a nasty attitude at that. And HEY!!! YOU TWO!!! When the hell have you EVER EVER EVER seen me write about gay masterbation??? Yeah yeah.... I may be the one to get the conversation going in a downward sexual spiral... but HELLO... I'm not a gay basher... and if anyone wants to talk dirty to me... you know where to find me... You silly youngsters! |
