Way to early to make that determination.

I disagree. I say HOF for sure.

Bias aside, I still think Rick is outstanding and will only improve his game

I completely agree, but to guarantee a 26 year old the HOF is saying A LOT.

I'll take a playoff round win before any of that talk. We've got about 14 more years to see if he can make it into the Hall.

I think that he definitely has the game to do it, but he needs to stay healthy and at the top of his game for an extended period of time, plus and perhaps the biggest question is that this organization needs to continue on this track and continue getting its act together. He wont get anywhere unless the isle become a successful organization over the next 10 years or so.

It isn't that difficult to make the Hockey Hall of Fame in comparison with the Baseball Hall of Fame. If Rick is healthy his entire career he has a good shot. If he wins a Cup it could be a given. In reality it's too early to tell.

too early too decide that stuff, the way it is now, I would think Lundqvist is ahead of the Rickster, right now.

he's got a long way to go to be considered a HOF'er. he's not where he needs to be, right now.

Let's see if Rick can duplicate the playoff feats of Glenn Healy, let alone surpass Glenn "Chico" Resch and join Smitty in the HHOF.

The Islanders would have to add four or five Hall of Famers to give DP a chance to do what Smith did. Smith and Chico came along at the right time and benefitted greatly from a terrific team Mr. Bowtie put together.
