H. Duff was at the game, tonight

Comrie is a lucky guy

I saw her there, I walked right by her, wow is she short. She must be only about 5'2 and that was with heels and that tall dark haired girl she was with was cute. I also saw Neil Smith, wonder what he was doing there ?

How bout Radek?

Radek is a key guy who I mentioned. The guys I listed at the top are all role players who played awesome tonight. Radek is a main cog on defense and he gets tons of credit, well deserved I might add. But in hockey, role players are just as important as the studs. Radek has developed into a stud on defense but the role players won the game tonight.

This was a full team effort no doubt, but those 7 guys were unbelievable tonight. It's easy to talk about Comrie, Guerin, Martinek, and Witt, but this was the grittiest, guttiest, most dominant defensive effort I have seen this team play maybe ever. They DOMINATED this game. I am so proud of this team and it's still early in the year and a lot can happen but this team isn't intimdated by ANYBODY and for the first time I truely feel in my heart we are a serious contender to win this division. After that, anything can happen.

BTW, can't forget Bergie either...

BIG F*CKING WIN BOYS WHOOOO!!!!!

Snowy, I was thinking the same thing. I've thought the defensive effort was absolutely unreal. The one goal was the shorty where the goalie was screened and it was an obvious breakdown on our part, but besides for that I can't see how we could have played better defensively. We easily could have scored 3 or 4 more on Lunquist, but he played well as usual.

For once we didn't need to have our goalie save us as the rest of the defensive effort from everyone else stole the show. Aside from that and a few chances where DP made some nice saves, we completely shut them down. We dominated the game. DOMINATED!!!! To me this was the most impressive game of the season, and a game that can make you really feel good about the team and the season.

Make no bones about it, the Rangers are a VERY GOOD TEAM and we dominated them.

Especially impressed with Hunter tonight. He's a monster on the boards and strong with the puck.

I know Im going to sound dumb for saying this but here goes...

I would sacrifice the entire season if we can beat the Devs and Rags every single game for the entire season.

I know it sounds dumb but I love to see teh Rags fans crying because they cant beat us

Smith did some post game on MSG, that must have been why he was there, well after the game was over.

I saw him come down our section...funny.

Right On Time.
One thing I will say and 4Cups and I did speak of it a few days ago.

COMRIE HAS TO SHOOT. This guy creates a lot of space and gets there and they highlighted on the PP how he doesn't even FACE the net.

The toe drag and the fake pass is great, but I would love to see him put it on net and take the chances and bury one.

As great as it is to beat both those teams.......I wouldn't sacrifice the season to do that.

It would be nice if we could win a playoff series. I promise----that feeling would be sweeter.

I can't recall an Islanders team barring the obvious, that would have gone in to MSG and won that game last night.

I wasn't around for the dynasty but my dad says even those teams had their troubles at the Garden. Home ice advantage used to be huge between these two teams. It's become basically meaningless in this series.

I was there representin' last night in Sec. 339. Lots of Isles fans there and in the bars. Awesome game after the 1st period. NYI OWNS NYR. THEY CAN'T BEAT US!!!!! Thanks to Avery for taking all those dumb penaltys. He never was too bright!!!

Gonna be 60 degrees tomorrow. People get out out of work/school early then so it's a great party night as many head home for Turkey day. We'll be tailgating for the Habs game near the Marriot fence about 5 pm tomorrow. Stop by if you want.
John Tavares was 2 years old the last time NYI won a playoff series

Agree totally that Comrie has to shoot more. Last night he had a wide open lane, looked to the point and had the pass deflected out of the zone. If he looks right, over his shoulder, he has nothing but ice between him and Queen Lundqvist.

And he can blister it when he wants to. Would've liked to see him shoot there.

And maybe a half dozen other times, too. I think Nolan will get him to shoot it more. Look what its done for Vasi...

I personally think that Bergenheim should be moved up onto Comrie's line. Comrie is too fast for Guerin and Fedetenko. (I think someone said this before but I can't remember who.) I think maybe with Bergenheim, Comrie can really start lighthing it up.

I know i'm not Ted Nolan, but what do you think?
