Right On Time.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say that one thing that has added to my enjoyment of the sport and turning it from a sport I enjoyed to a sport I obsess over has been the time of the games. I know the rules have been in place for a few years but now more than ever they are enforcing them. Not taking so long after an icing. Not having guys skate around forever. Having limited TV timeouts. Games that start 7:07 are finished by 9:30 ALL THE TIME. It really has made a huge difference to myself AND even more my family. My parents do not have 4 hours to set aside. The Monday night against the Rangers my baby brother and my Mom and Dad sat down and watched the entire game and it didn't even take 2 1/2 hours up. It just adds to the excitement for me. Not begging for them to drop the puck. These guys are in and ready to battle it out right away. Even with heading into OT and shootout the breaks are limited. I can sit down and truly watch an entire game and not flick off. I love baseball and football but baseball games are 3 - 4 hours long. Football has more timeouts and dead time than anything on earth. Hockey is really doing a lot of things right in respect to the game and the fans. Going to a game and not getting home at 11:30 allows me to bring my younger brother and go with parents and more friends. Nothing better than just putting on the game and sitting back and watching A GAME and not commercials. I applaud the refs for getting these guys in, the league and the players. They want to play not float around. Even OT games and shootout games don't take over 3 hours. Curious to see if people have noticed it and helped. I know the younger people can go to more games and the busy people can also make more games. With that said... MONTREAL YOU ARE GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (IN A TIMELY MANNER HA)

Hockey is the only sport my whole family will watch. I have season tickets so I'm always at the games, but I take my sister as much as I can (and as much as I can stand her. Teenagers )
