They are but but I think they moved away from Asham because it was percieved he took too many nights off. Didn't the Devils scratch him a few weeks ago becuase of that. I think Nolan wanted someone who competes every game. |

and Jackman does exactly that. I am actually thoroughly impressed with the way I seem to notice him every game. If he won a fight, I'd be gloating about him. But I definitely see and appreciate the effort he gives all the time. |

Jackman was sent back down today according to the Sound Tigers website: Moving Back Up: Shawn Bates was recalled by the New York Islanders from his conditioning loan this morning. Tim Jackman was returned from loan by the Islanders to the Sound Tigers and will dress today in an effort to help the Sound Tigers break their four-game losing streak. |
