Forwards Bill Guerin, Mike Comrie and Ruslan Fedotenko have been reunited for the first time since playing together for a two-game stretch from November 16-19. Also re-forming is the "shut down" line of Mike Sillinger, Andy Hilbert and Trent Hunter. This line has been together for much of the season, but was split up last game against Boston. Josef Vasicek and Miroslav Satan will once again play together and will be flanked on the left side by Jeff Tambellini. The "so-called" fourth line will consist of Richard Park, Chris Simon and Sean Bergenheim. http://islanders.nhl.com/team/app?articlei...ge&service=page |

Sound good to me. Maybe we can recapture the success we had early on with those lines. |

Again with this?! Bergenheim has played his two best games with Sillinger and he gets rewarded by being demoted? For the life of me, on a team that struggles to score goals, I cannot understand why Hilbert takes a spot on the Sillinger line while Park and Bergie are buried on the 4th line. Having said that, I agree with the other changes. Overall, this is good. |

This is the logical move....however, I would like to see the lines stay the same for at least 10 games or so. Stirling proved that constant line swapping doesn't work. Let's go, two big points up for grabs Wednesday night ! |

I don't think this is the best idea. But yea, I hate the inconsistancy of these lines. Interesting how these lines almost go in money-making order from the top down.

Well something has to change, and if Nolan feels he doesnt have the right balance then i cant see a problem changing it untill the solution becomes clear. |

If we throw the three guys together who haven't scored more than a goal in a month, good things might happen. Methinks Ted Nolan found the "Steve Stirling on the Fly Line Generator" somewhere in the bowels of Nassau Coliseum and just can't stop flipping the lever. |

I agree with you, Bergie did play well, but the whole team is not preforming. So if the whole time is play like crapola, why should one guy get rewarded?? |

I'm wondering if this is guna keep delaying the chemistry, as in keep switching the lines not giving them the oppurtunity to gain chemistry |

I feel that Nolan has given the team a good chance to get some chemistry going. Esp the Fedotenko Comrie Guerin line. The other lines, maybe not so much, but still given the players enough time to form chemistry. The team is not driving to the net. I felt in the Boston game, the team did play better offensivly. I thought it was the best game throughout the homestand. They drove to the net, shot the puck a lil more etc. Thomas played his angles well and stopped the shots he needed to stop. Mike Comrie needs to stop and looking for the pretty play and shoot more. The guy is always looking for the winger or the defensemen or trailer looking into fill the slot, instead making a shot. He is always skating through the slot with the puck when he has an open shot. SHOOT THE f#@kKKKKING PUCK. Didnt we go thru this last year with Poti? JMO. |

Let's watch to see if Nolan starts showing his bottom teeth tonight when we get called for penalties. If he does, we're really in trouble. |

I hear you, especially about Park, but if Park and Bergie have been playing well, what's the problem with them playing together? Maybe it works in our favor.
