that was horrid and depressing. will i ever see this team flurish into cup contenders?

I've been waiting along time too and this is getting real bad. I can honestly say that for the first time in my life i don't like watching the islanders.

that about sums it up.. its one thing if we lose.. but its another thing if you can count the number of hits, the number of scoring chances, and the number of crisp passes.... on one hand.

And still have fingers to:

1. Hitch a ride.
2. Pick your nose
3. Make hook 'em horns
4. Flip somebody off
5. Get married, if you were using your left hand and western.

"We're not in a bind at all," Burke said. "I'd say of the 29 teams, we don't talk to Edmonton, so of the 28 other teams, there's plenty of interest in making this predicament go away. I could hang up the phone and solve this."

i can never go that far. i'll always watch 'em and keep cheering. keep hoping. im always wishing for a miracle every season and i'm still hanging onto THE CHANCE. but its tough and watching the islanders lose tonight was just a depressing blow that i havent felt in YEARS (and yes, we played far more worse than tonight).

all we can do is hope and not abondon ship.

Okay - sick.

Yeah.

Our first line isn't sick - they just didn't show up.

Park needs to move again - he's settling and that's now his game.

Comrie isn't cutting it on the first line. If he is injured, sit him.

Guerin needs to play more defense and get different line mates, this doesn't seem like his game.

Comeau and Hunter between Walter next year.

Dubie could have had either of those... but he didn't, okay.

We lost to the WORST EFFING TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.

By proxy.... that makes us...

Just wondering if Ricky is too good for us - preventing a sucky team from sucking so hard that we rebuild?

Not flipping.. just throwing that out there.

Are we strong enough in some areas to fake ourselves out?

Are the last 4-6 home games reality? :dontknow:

I was thinking about that watching the all star game. How long till he wants out and demands a trade if we don't get a contending team :letssee:

Amazing how we can sleepwalk through the first 55 minutes v. the Queens and then actually play with urgency for the last 5 minutes.

pathetic effort tonight.
I miss these :cup: :cup: :cup: :cup: and want more of them

You guys must be Yankee fans and not used to losing, huh? You all sound like a bunch of crybabies. Ya gotta believe!
If you see someone down on the ground, you lend them a hand. Unless they're a Rangers fan, then you kick them in the face.
